Granada Meets Ivy

 Prologue

  After Sandra went back to the palace after talking to Yeanny, it was beginning to get dark so she told Alieta about the plans they had about getting more teachers then went up to her room. Alieta and Ginger were about to go inside and get ready for bed when Ivy flew down to them."Well hello Ivy what are you up to at this time of night?" asked Alieta. "I have a great idea but I need to go back to Granada," said Ivy. "Really what is this great idea?" asked Alieta. "Well remember when all those aliens retreated and we could see them high up and they one that was here was able to fly up in his ship and join them," said Ivy. "Yes I remember," said Alieta. "Well that means only one thing, the two realities share the same space surronding the planet,: said Ivy. "Okay that would make sense," said Alieta. "Okay now remember when that girl came here with Sapphire that took pictures off that cell phone she brought with her and said it also was used to talk to people over great distances but there was no signal here in Fae Land," said Ivy. Okay I kind of remember her saying something like that," said Alieta. "Good, now I want to go to Granada and find out what is needed here so we can use cell phones here to talk to people without having to look for them. Just call them on the cell phone and tell them what you want," said Ivy. "Do you really think we need something like that here?" asked Alieta. "Well it would come in handy with me," said Ginger. "Plus there has been times when you needed to find Alexa or some of the heros and the sprites had to look all over the place". "Yes that is true, said Alieta. "Also it would be good for ordering dairy products from the farm in Cumberland and all the other stores I buy supplies from," said Ginger. "So you think this is a good idea if Ivy here can see if it is possible," said Alieta. "I am pretty sure we can do it, said Ivy. "Last time I was in Granada Olympia said a satalite in space was needed to make cell phones work plus a tall tower. We have the tower already and sharing the same space means there is a satalite up there already too. I just need to talk to Olympia to find out what is needed down here. I can always look it up on the computer like I did with the solar cells and electricity." Okay so when do you want to go?" asked Alieta. "Now, that way I can look everything up on Olympia's computer tonight or in the morning," said Ivy. Ginger smiled. You know she is going to go, she is just being nice and letting you know," said Ginger. "Yes I know. Okay Ivy go do your thing again, said Alieta. Just then Gabriel appeared. "Okay Ivy Olympia knows your coming but do this fast, she is due to come and live in Fae Land very soon," said Gabriel. "You already knew about this?" asked Alieta. "Yep, it was expected and is the second step needed here. Just trust Ivy okay," said Gabriel. "I do trust her but how many more steps are needed?" asked Alieta. "None, this is the last one," said Gabriel, then both Gabriel and Ivy disappeared.

Chapter 1

  Gabriel and Ivy appeared in Olympia's kitchen with her and Sapphire waiting for them. "Hi Ivy nice to see you again," said Olympia. "How is the packing going?" asked Gabriel. "Almost done, I still have to close my bank account and take care of a couple of other things downtown," said Olympia. "Good so Sapphire the portal will be open every day at 2PM for three hours so when Olympia is ready to finally leave then you take care of her. Ivy you just call me when you have all you need," said Gabriel. "Okay, thanks Gabriel," said Ivy then she vanished. "Okay Ivy, I have bookmarked the sites on the internet that you will have to look at but I think we best get to bed now so we are all well rested in the morning," said Olympia. "Okay I had a busy day today so I am too tired to do anything right now anyways," said Ivy. "Okay you know where the bedroom is so I will see you in the kitchen for breakfast," said Olympia." Okay goodnight," said Ivy and left the kitchen. "Okay I am going to bed also Sapphire, lets have an early breakfast say 6AM. We have a lot to do tomorrow," said Olympia. "Okay boss," said Sapphire then vanished. Olympia went to her room and went to bed. In the morning Olymipa's alarm went off at six and she got up and changed then headed for the kitchen. Ivy and Sapphire were already there. "Your already up, I thought I would have to wake you," said Olympia to Ivy. "Nope she was here before I was," said Sapphire and I already made her breakfast. Yep got lots to do, said Ivy. Gabriel told me to go fast. "Okay do you remember how to work the computer?" asked Olympia. "Yep it is easy," said Ivy. "Glad you think so, it took me a full year to figure it out," said Olympia. "Now you figure out what you need to ptint out and buy while I eat something then we will do the shopping first." "So do you still have that money from heaven?" asked Ivy. "Yep she does and it is making big interest in Olympia's bank account," said Sapphire. "I'm not sure how it works but all she needs is this little plastic card and she uses it to pay for things." "Ginger is having some banks built in Fae Land maybe you can tell her how that card works," said Ivy then she headed to the room with the computer in it. "So do you think she will be able to figure out how to make cell phones work in Fae Land?" asked Olympia. "Probably, she figured out the solar panel thing pretty fast with Alexa," said Olympia. "Well I am packing my cell phone then just incase," said Olympia.

  In about thirty minutes Ivy came back into the kitchen. "You done already?" asked Olympia. "For now, I know what we need to make in Fae Land but now I need to go to that big shopping mall where the electronics store is," said Ivy. "Okay, I need to go there also," said Olympia. "Now you be good while we are gone Sapphire." "Oh I won't be far away," said Sapphire. "When the queen of the forest is out and about in Granada, it is my job to make sure she stays safe." Ivy smiled. "I am sure we will be just fine here," said Ivy. "But good to know you have our backs." "Okay then lets head out Ivy. There are a lot of stores in that shopping mall," said Olympia. The two of them left the appartment and Sapphire vanished. When they reached the mall, Olympia drove into the underground parking then they took the stairs to the first floor of the mall. "Wow look at this place and all the people," said Ivy. "There must be a hundred stores in here." "No just seventy but just about anything one could want or need can be found in here," said Olympia. "So what shop do you want to go in first?" "Lets check out that clothing store first. Viridian could use a new outfit or two," said Ivy. They started to walk over and a bunch of teenagers ran up to Ivy all excited. "You are real," said one girl. "We just thought they were using some special effects or animation when we saw Kendra on TV". "Well yes I am real," said Ivy. "Do you live here now?" asked another girl. "No I am just visiting," said Ivy. "I love your outfit too," said a girl. "Man are you ever beautiful. Well you girls are all very pretty too," said Ivy. "Ya but nothing like you," said a different girl. "Okay girls let Ivy alone, we have some shopping to do," said Olympia. "Okay, bye Ivy, it was great to see you in person," said a girl. "You best get used to that Ivy. Most people here have never met a Fae in person before." That's okay, I love the young ones. Very pure and inocent," said Ivy. They went into the clothing store and Ivy went to a rack of clothes that Viridian would likely wear. "Now these are tops that she would wear," said Ivy. "Not too flashy and sexy". Ivy felt something tugging on her hand. She looked down and saw a cute little girl. "Hello, are you a fairy?" asked the little girl. "Ivy got down on one knee and smiled. "No I am a forest sprite," said Ivy. "Oh but you have wings like a fairy, "said the girl. "Fairies have much prettier wings than mine," said Ivy. "Oh, can you do magic then?" asked the girl. "No sorry Lisa only fairies and wizards do magic but I can talk to trees and plants and make them grow faster plus disappear and fly," said Ivy. "Well that sounds like magic to me," said the girl. "Hey wait, how did you know my name?" "Well I can see things in people's mind and soul," said Ivy. "I can tell when someone is good or bad or if they have bad secrets." "Wow that is definitely the best magic," said Lisa. "What do you see in me?" "Well a very good girl that loves her parents but doesn't like the shoes her mother bought for her," said Ivy. "Ya they are yucky and hurt a bit," said Lisa.

  "Really, I never wear shoes but my guess is they are too small for you," said Ivy. "Ya but Mom said I just need to wear them for a while and they will stretch or something," said Lisa. Just then a lady in a red dress walked up to them. "Oh my, it's you," said the lady. "Lisa are you bothering this girl from Fae Land?" "No she is not bothering me at all," said Ivy. "I love children." "Ya mom she is really nice and can talk to trees plus make them grow really fast," said Liza. "Really, talking to trees sounds very odd," said Lisa's mother. "No it isn't, she can go invisible and see inside people too," said Liza. "That way she knows if you are good or bad. She is magical!" "Magical you say. Come Lisa lets go home now," said Lisa's mother. "Not with her wearing those shoes Mrs. Ferguson," said Ivy. Those shoes are the wrong size and are hurting her feet." "Did you tell her my name Lisa?" asked the mother. "Nope, told you she can see inside people," said Lisa. "Really? Then prove it. How old am I," asked Mrs. Furguson. "You are thirty two yeays old and your bithday is on the fifth of November," said Ivy. "Oh dear, your husband recently lost his job." "Wow, you are good," said Mrs. Furguson. "Ivy is a forest sprite and a very special one," said Olympia. "She is the forest queen in Fae Land and has the strongest reading skills in the world". "A queen too! Oh I am so sorry for not believing you," said Mrs. Furguson. "It was your daughter you didn't believe," said Ivy. "She has never ever lied to you or her father."

  "You know then, we have to be very careful with the money we have," said Mrs. Furguson. Liza needed new shoes and those were the only pair they had in my price range. They are just one half size too small." "Okay I get that," said Ivy. "Let me buy her shoes that fit and she likes." You would do that for us?" asked Mrs. Furguson. You barely know us." I know enough and I will not let such a perfect little soul walk around in pain just because of money," said Ivy. "When did you buy them?" "Just before we came here in the shoe store," said Mrs. Furguson. "Okay good, take those shoes off now Liza and we are gong back to the shoe store," said Ivy. So what about the tops for Viridian?" asked Olympia. "Buy that yellow one and the green one with buttons over there," said Ivy. "Okay good, I'll pay for them and meet you at the shoe store," said Olympia. The three of them went to the shoe store and was greeted by the sales girl. "Wow Ivylynn, your here! I didn't know you wore shoes," said the girl. "I don't but we want to return these shoes that don't fit Lisa properly," said Ivy. "Have you got anything that will fit her?" "Well yes but they cost a lot more, said the sales girl." I told her mother that they were wrong for the little girl." Okay price is no problem," said Ivy. Show us what you have." "Cool, I know the exact pair that she will love," said the sales girl. She went to the rack and picked out a box then came back. "Have a seat Lisa and let me put them on for you," said the girl. Look Mom, they are pink, my favorite colour! I hope they fit," said Lisa. The girl put the shoes on her and did up the laces. "There now walk back and forth a bit. Lisa got off the chair and walked around. "They feel great and no pain, said Lisa. "Perfect, so how much are they," asked Ivy. "Well these are high top runners and are very popular with all the teenages now, made by a high end sports clothing company. They are two hundred and thirty dollars but they will last a very long time and when she grows out of them you can bring them back and we will refurbish them then sell as used and give you a new pair for free in her new size," said the girl. "You can do that three times if her feet keep growing." "So actually they are the best buy," said Mrs. Furguson. "Yep they sure are," said the girl. "I have been wearing mine for three years and they still look great."

  Olympia showed up and saw the shoes Lisa was wearing. "Nice, pink high tops," said Olympia. "I have a pair at home too, not pink though. I bet no other girl your age has shoes like those." Probably not," said the sales girl. "I have never sold high top runners to such a young person. Those ones were for someone with very small feet. Okay so how are you paying?" asked the girl. "Interac," said Olympia. "Okay come with me then and we will settle up," said the sales girl. "My she didn't even ask how much they were, said Mrs. Furguson. "Don't matter, she has unlimited money from heaven," said Ivy. "That I truely don't understand," said Mrs. Furguson. "But it must be true seeing you have been right about everything so far." Ivy smiled. "Now you be a very good girl Lisa and maybe I will see you again sometime," said Ivy. "I hope so, your the best Ivy!" said Lisa. After Olympia paid for the shoes she came back and gave Mrs. Furguson the receit. "Keep that in a safe place so you can return the shoes when Liza grows out of them," said Olympia. "Oh I will, thankyou so much," said Mrs. Furguson. "Okay now we need to find an electronics store that sells phones like yours," said Ivy. "Okay but there is a lot more to them then just turning them on and talking to people," said Olympia. "You need to be on a network for them to work and Fae Land is in a different reality and there is no network satalites." "I know that, said Ivy but I have a theory." "Okay, it is upstairs," said Olympia. When they reached the electronics gadget store, Ivy went straight over to the cell phones. "Here they are," said Ivy. "All I need is two for now or maybe four."

  "Okay so you have to go to the front desk and they will get you ones in a box with the charger in it," said Olympia. "Then they have to set it up with a phone number and pay for a plan so you can connect with other phones but I don't know what good that will do." "Okay I think I understand all of that," said Ivy. "I want the green one for me and the blue one for Ginger". "Why Ginger?" asked Olympia. "She is in chage of the palace and does all the ordering for it. If my theory is right then this is going to make it possible us to talk to each other and even you," said Ivy. "Okay what is this theory of yours?" asked Olympia. "Well back during the alien attack. We captured two that came through the portal by mistake," said Ivy. "They were weak and I had my bracelette turned on so we took their weapons. Now after talking to them some, the radio in their space ships said everyone retreat, we lost. I looked up and saw lots of space ships high in the sky leaving the atmosphere. They asked if they could leave too and I let them. they flew up and joined the other ships then vanished". "Okay so I still don't understand how that is going to make cell phones work in Fae Land," said Olympia. "Well Granada's reality is lined up exactly with Fae Land's. If those ships were able to be seen by me in Fae Land then we must share the same sky and space around the planet."said Ivy. "Okay that makes sense," said Olympia. "Yep and if that is true then the satalite that the cell phones work off must be up there also," said Ivy. "It should by theory work just as good with these phones in Fae Land as yours does in Granada. We already have the radio tower close to the same spot where Granada has their tower." "Wow Ivy, where did you learn all this stuff?" asked Olympia. "Last time I was here on the computer in the library. Plus I talked a lot with Alexa when we were making the solar panel. she knows a lot about space stuff." said Ivy. "Man you must be very smart to figure all that technical stuff out so fast," said Olympia. "Hey what are those over there?" asked Ivy. "Lap top computers," said Olympia. "Computers! I want one," said Ivy. "Lets go look at them." They both walked over to the table with all the lap tops on it. "So can these do what your computer does?" asked Ivy. "Yep and probably more," said Olympia. "My computer is old and these are new with the latest software," said Olympia. "Much faster and large capacity electronic drives too so they will never fail." "Okay, not sure what that means but do they get the internet?" asked Ivy. "Well yes but I am very sure not in Fae Land," said Olympia. "The internet runs on a different network than cell phones but you can buy software for it."

  "Okay but I still want one," said Ivy. "What software were you talking about?" Let me take care of that for you Ivy," said Olympia. "A brain like yours could use a computer to expand you knowledge of the sciences plus there are good mind games you may like". "I like playing games," said Ivy."Yes I know you do, you just pick one out and I will take care of the rest," said Olympia. "This one," said Ivy. "But it is not green," said Olympia. "Nope, this is not a toy, it's a tool plus it is really shiny. I want this one," said Ivy. They both went to the counter and Olympia expained to the woman what they wanted plus they wanted the lap top. "Okay so two cell phones and a lap top," said the woman. The phones are fully charged and that lap top should be also" "Can you set up this cell phone first so I can call Sparkle?" asked Ivy. "Umm sure, but arn't you from Fae Land?" asked the woman. "Ya that is Ivy so lets get this done please," said Olympia. Ivy wants these two cell phones set up now with a network and phone numbers please." "Okay I can do that now," said the woman. She got two phones off the shelf and set them up with the network and numbers. "There you go, both phones are active now, said the woman." "Lets check," said Ivy. She punched in one of the numbers and the blue phone rang. "Hello Ivy," said Olympia. "Yep they work," said Ivy. "Okay do you know Sparkle's phone number?"  "Well yes but I am not allowed to give out numbers to people, said the woman. "Well she is a good friend of mine and I need to know where she is right now," said Ivy. "I need to call her and it is important." "Umm okay," said the woman seeing she does have a pubic number". She gave Ivy the number and Ivy called it."

  Ivy called Sparkle on her cell phone and nobody answered. "Are you sure that is her number?" asked Ivy. "Yep it is," said the woman. "You see you have a new number so she will wait and call it back to see who it is." In a minute Ivy's phone rang. "Hello, Sparkle, it's Ivy." "Okay, hi Ivy, you got your own cell phone now?" asked Sparkle. "Yep sure do," said Ivy. "I need to talk to you. Where are you?" "At Cassy and Sally's place. I had to tell them how much money we raised from the charity concert," said Sparkle. "Best ever by far." "Really, how much?" asked Ivy. "Over two million dollars," said Sparkle. "Most of it came from people watching on the internet." "I was just getting ready to go back to Fae Land, so what's up?" "Well before you go I need you to do a favor for me," said Ivy, "Sure anything for you," said Sparkle. "I met this very young girl at the mall today and she was wearing new shoes her mother just bought for her but they were too small and hurt her feet," said Ivy. "Okay, go on," said Sparkle. "Well the mother's husband just got laid off from his job and money is very tight right now so I bought the little girl new shoes that fit properly," said Ivy. "That sure sounds like something you would do," said Sparkle. "Yep but you see they are a proud family and the father is looking for another job but can you help them with your charity fund please?" asked Ivy. "The little girl and the mother are pure souls. I dought they will apply for help from you." "Okay so who are they?" asked Sparkle. The Furgusons and they live at this address," said Ivy. "Great I will take care of them before I leave personally," said Sparkle. "There is one more thing I need to know," said Ivy. "Where exactly is the cell phone tower in Granada?" "Well it is dead center in Granada just outside of the down town area. You can't miss it," said Sparkle. "It is the tallest structure in Ganada". Okay I think I saw it when I flew to Olympia's place last time I was here," said Ivy. "What are you up to now?" ask, Sparkle. "You will see," said Ivy. "So Ivy how would you like to meet some of my close friends here berfore I return to Fae Land?" asked Sparkle. "Sure, why not. A freind of yours must be someone special," said Ivy. "Oh yes, they are very special," said Sparkle. Do you know where Sally and Cassy live?" "Nope, don't remember, hang on." said Ivy. "I need to go to Cassy and Sally's place where Sparkle is. Sapphire do you know where they live?" Sapphire appeared and said, "I sure do." "Good, okay Sparkle, Sapphire is going to take me to you, see you soon," then Ivy ended the call. "Okay you to that then I will take this stuff home with me after I go to the bank," said Olympia. Okay, Sparkle wants me to meet some of her good friends. I will see back at your place later on," said Ivy. She tucked her cell phone in the side of her top. "There it won't slip out of there. "Okay Sapphire lets go," said Ivy and they both vanished. "Wow I have never served a customer like her before," said the sales woman. Was that some kind of fairy that appeared out of nowhere and left the same way with Ivy?" "Yep it was and I am going to be living in that magical land soon," said Olympia. "So how much do I owe you?"

  When Ivy got to Cassy and Sally's place she found Sparkle in the kitchen waiting for her. "There you are, hi Sapphire, nice to see you again," said Sparkle. Always a pleasure," said Sapphire. "Okay I'll be around, I have to check on Olympia" then she vanished. "Well she is a girl of few words," said Sparkle. "She is just excited to be going back to Fae Land when Olympia is ready to leave Granada." said Ivy. "She wants to make sure everthing runs smoothly." "Well the girls are downstairs practicing a song so lets go, said Sparkle. She drove Ivy to her cottage then parked the car. "Okay this is my parrents cottage but just over there is my good firiend Faith's cottage," said Sparkle. "She is very special." "Special how?" asked Ivy. "Well she is the best female tennis player in the world," said Sparkle. "Kendra told me some about her, what is tennis?" asked Ivy. "It's a game played on a court," said Sparkle. "She has her own court in her backyard where she practices. I have played with her but I all ways lose big time! Lets go over and see what she is up to." They went in the big cottage and Faith was just getting ready to practice. "Wow! hi Sparkle. You brought a Fae with you today," said Faith. "Not just any Fae, Ivy is the queen of the forest in Fae Land and is very important there," said Sparkle. "A very magical girl." "Magical and very pretty," said Faith. "What kind of magic?" asked Faith. "She has skills but can we show her your trophie? I told her you were special and my friend," said Sparkle. "Sure I have my world champion trophy on the mantle but haven't put the woman's double trophy up there yet," said Faith. They walked over to the fireplace and Ivy looked at the golden trophy. "This says you are the best tennis player in the world and that was earlier this year," said Ivy. "Well best woman player," said Faith. "Well why don't you take Ivy out back and practice with her," said Sparkle. Tell her how the game works and what she needs to do. Maybe she will do as good as Kendra." "Kendra played with you?" asked Ivy. "Yep and she beat the heck out of me and my partner big time," said Faith.

They went out back and showed Ivy the tennis court. "Wow it is big," said Ivy. "Why is the net so low?" I have played volley ball but the net was much higher." "Well this game is similar but you use these rackets to hit this ball over the net," said Faith. "The idea is to hit the ball over the net to me and make it land inside these lines then I return it back over the net if I can." Okay, that sounds easy enough," said Ivy. "Yep it sounds easy but you will see it is harder than you think plus you are not allowed to fly," said Faith. "Okay that sounds fair," said Ivy. Good, you stand over there and I will hit the ball to you first," said Faith. Faith got on the other side of the net and hit the ball softly to Ivy. Ivy returned it easily. Faith hit it back to her and Ivy was able to return it again. This is easy, said Ivy. Faith smiled then hit the ball back much harder and not at Ivy this time. Ivy ran over and managed to hit it back to Faith. Faith hit the ball over to the other side of the court and Ivy had to run fast to hit it back to Faith. Go Ivy go, your doing great, said Sparkle. Faith slammed the ball hard and it hit the ground and bounced over Ivy's head but Ivy ran way back fast then turned and returned the ball again but this time it went out of bounds. "My point," said Faith. "You are very fast on your feet, like Kendra was." Yep, forest sprites can run very fast too," said Ivy. "Okay you hit the ball to me this time," said Faith. "Just keep it inside this box." Ivy threw the ball high in the air then jumped way up and slammed it right at Faith that was unable to hit the ball. "My piont right?" asked Ivy. "Yep, your point," said Faith. "You jumped at least nine feet in the air then aced me." "Yep I can jump really high too," said Ivy. "Kendra can't jump as high as me."

  "Okay, lets leave it as a tie," said Faith. "I don't want to get beat again." "Well I am sure you would of won," said Ivy. "You are really good and I was just trying to keep up with you." "Thanks Ivy, it was nice of you to say that," said Faith. "Yep Ivy is awesome," said Sparkle. "So do you think Kimmy is home?" "Yep she is taking the day off," said Faith. "Good, I want her to meet Ivy also and take my picture with her," said Sparkle. "Ya she will do that for sure," said Faith. "She loves taking pictures." "Okay, talk to you later then," said Sparkle. "We just have to follow that path through the trees. Her home is on the other side of the woods." "They went in the woods and started following the path. "Wait a second," said Ivy. "This big tree is looking a bit droopy." "Okay, do your thing," said Sparkle. "Ivy went to the tree and grabbed it with both hands. Suddenly the tree started to move and raise all it's branches. "There much better," said Ivy. "It was just tired and is very old". "So will it be okay?" asked Sparkle. "Yep, just needs some rain. I will talk to Mother Nature later," said Ivy. They continued on their way and soon they got to Kimmy's house. "Wow this is a huge house," said Ivy. "How many people live in there? "Just Kimmy. She makes a lot of money and likes a big place," said Sparkle. Sparkle knocked on the door then walked in. "Hello Kimmy, where are you?" "Upstairs in my bedroom," Kimmy yelled back. "They went upstairs and into the bedroom." "Hi Sparkle and look, you have Ivy with you too!" said Kimmy. "Yep, I wanted you to meet her," said Sparkle. "Well Ivy it is an honor to meet you and you are even prettier in person than you looked on TV during that charity concert," said Kimmy. "Thank you, very nice to meet you too," said Ivy. What are those on the dresser over there?" "Those are some of my awards," said Kimmy. "Awards for what?" asked Ivy. "Photography and the arts," said Kimmy. Ivy walked over and looked closely at the rewards. These are very impressive awards," said Ivy. "They say you are the best. "Yep Kimmy is the best photographer anywhere," said Sparkle. "She never takes a bad picture. Can you take a picture of Ivy and me standing together?" "Sure can. Let me pull my camera over and you two stand side by side over there," said Kimmy. "Good now both of you look into the camera and smile." Kimmy took their picture. "Now you take one with me standing with Ivy," said Kimmy. "Okay," said Sparkle. "I am getting very good with the camera you lent me."

They took a bunch of pictures and even a group shot using the camera's timer. "Okay that should do it," said Kimmy. "Are you two hungry at all?" "Do you have any ice cream?" asked Ivy. "After playing tennis with Faith, I need to recharge." "Oh so how did you do against her?" asked Kimmy. "We tied, she is very good. I could barely keep up with her," said Ivy. "Ya she is amazing with a racket," said Kimmy. Sparkle smiled and knew that Ivy could of beat Faith easily. "Lets go to the kitchen and treat ourselves to ice cream. I always have some in the freezer," said Kimmy. They went downstairs to the kitchen and Kimmy grabbed the ice cream out of the freezer. "Have a seat you two, I'll fill these bowls for us,," said Kimmy. They all sat down and started enjoying the ice cream. "So Ivy how long are you staying in Granada this time?" asked Kimmy. "Well I will be going back and forth for a bit," said Ivy. Today I am with Olympia, and we did some shopping then tomorow I go back to Fae Land and test my theory once I get Tulip to create a cell phone tower if we need one, said Ivy. "What do you need a cell tower for?" asked Kimmy. "Ivy has a theory that we share the same sky and thus the same cell satalite should be up there," said Sparkle. "Well do you know how to make a cell tower?" asked Kimmy. "Tulip made a radio tower for us and it works great," said Ivy. "Okay that tower transmits only, said Kimmy. "You need that tower to recieve signals also." "Oh, I didn't know that," said Ivy. "Ya it has to recieve from the satalite dish you have in Fae Land that connects to the network satilite in space then it is connected to the tower that allows cell signals to send and recieve. It is kinda complicated," said Kimmy. Where We don't have a satilite dish in Fae Land," said Ivy. Pretty sure you need one or your theory won't work," said Kimmy. What does a satilite dish look like? " asked Ivy. "Probably check the internet," said Sparkle. "I don't have a computer at my cottage. My lap top computer won't do that for me?" asked Ivy. "Nope, you have to make an internet account and that runs off of phone lines or cable but if you have a satilite set up, all lap tops have wifi which means it will connect to the internet without cables. You don't have either of those in Fae Land," said Sparkle. "Okay after we finish our ice cream I have to fly to Olympia's place", said Ivy. "She has a computer that has internet. So Kimmy, do you have a cell phone?" "Yep sure do," said Kimmy. "Can you put your number in my phone for me then? That way I can call you from Fae Land also, "said Ivy. "Okay, not sure if that will work from a different reality but you know you can take and send pictures too," said Kimmy. "Really, that is so cool," said Ivy. "I have to figure all this stuff out." Ivy pulled her cell phone out from her top and handed it to Kimmy. "Intersting place you keep it," said Kimmy. "Well I have no pockets," said Ivy. "It is in there nice and tight." Kimmy looked at Sparkle and smiled.

  "Okay, thanks for the ice cream but I got to fly. Lots to do today before bed time," said Ivy. She put her bowl and spoon in the sink then let herself out. "Ivy is a very unusual yet remarkable girl," said Kimmy. "How does someone from a land with no technology know so much about modern devices?" "Ivy is extremely smart. I have never met anyone as smart as her," said Sparkle. "She knows how to work a computer and has a lap top now so she knows how to work it too I bet. I have a feeling she will fighure a way of getting the cell phones to work and the internet on here lap top too in time. One thing I know about Ivy is when she wants to get something done, she will let nothing stop her."... When Ivy got to Olympus's place she explained what Kimmy told her about cell towers and satilite dishes and asked her if she could use her computer. "Yep you know where it is," said Olympus. "I'll help you." They went to the computer room and Ivy sat down. "So I guess I just do a search for cell towers, said Ivy. "You can but there will be a ton of links to that search," said Olympia. "Now look for a picture of a satilite dish." "Right there, near the top," said Ivy. "Good click on the picture and lets see what it says," said Olympia. "Okay there," said Ivy. "It looks big." "Yes they can be,now you will have to do some reading," said Olympia. Ivy went silent as she read what the web page said about Satilite dishes and cell towers. "Hey, it says that a cell tower tansmits signals to cell phones and other comunication devices like computers that have WiFi installed. The tower takes the signal from the recieving ground satilite dish that has been aimed at the satilite in space. A cable then gets connected to a the power transformer. A cable then is connected to the base of the center core of the tower. The higher the tower and the stronger the power source will determine the range of the signal. "Where is Mars?" asked Ivy. "Way out in space," said Olympia. "Oh okay, I hope they speak English there," said Ivy.Olympia shook her head. "Good now print out all the pages about that dish," said Olympia. After everything was finished being printed Ivy put the papers on the desk. The satellite dish looks kinda easy," said Ivy. "Tulip will be able to make that from this drawing and instuctions I hope. If not I will get Merlin to help." Well your all set then," said Olympia. "Now what do you want to do?" "Well can you hang on to my lap top and the two shirts plus the other cell phone and all these pages?" asked Ivy. "It is almost supper now and I want to get back to Cassy and Sally's place. I'll come back later." "Yep okay," said Olympia.

  "Okay thanks, I got to fly," said Ivy. "I never miss a meal. Tell Sapphire I will need her tomorrow." "Need me for what?" asked Sapphire that appeared out of nowhere as usual. "Oh, I need to go back to Fae Land tomorrow for a few hours," said Ivy. "When is the portal open?" "Two o'clock in the afternoon," said Sapphire. "Perfect, I can sleep in a bit," said Ivy. I thought Gabriel was going to be teleporting you," said Sapphire. "Ya but she is a busy angel, I don't want to bither her and you are doing nothing anyways," said Ivy. "I will get her to bring me back when I am ready." "So I am off to have supper at Cassy and Sally's place." "Let me take you there," said Sapphire. Like you said I am not doing anything." "Okay lets go," said Ivy. Sapphire took Ivy's hand and teleported them to their kitchen. "Sounds like they are downstairs playing music," said Sapphire. "Yep they do that a lot," said Ivy. "Do you want me to make supper for the three of you?" asked Sapphire. "No I smell something good cooking in the oven," said Ivy. "Ya me too. Okay see you at two," said Sapphire then vanished. Ivy sat down and waited for the two girls to finish and come upstairs. In a few minutes they showed up in the kitchen. "Ivy, your back!" said Cassy. "How long have you been here?" "Not long, Sapphire teleported me here a few minutes ago," said Ivy. "She can teleport other people also?" asked Sally. "Yep she is powerful and is taking me back to Fae Land tomorrow for a few hours," said Ivy. Ivy pulled out her cell phone. "Can you two put your phone numbers in my cell phone? I haven't figured out how to do that yet," said Ivy. "You have a cell phone now! How cool," said Cassy. "Here let me show you how easy it is to do that." Cassy added both their numbers into Ivy's cell. "So what is cooking?" asked Ivy. "Smells great." "Chicken pot pie," said Sally. "Should be done soon." "Yum, that's the only pie I have eaten that you can't put ice cream on it," said Ivy. "No but we can have that for desert," said Sally. In the mean time let me show you some things you can do and sign up to on your phone while we wait."

  Sally showed Ivy some of the features on her phone like adjusting the volume and setting it to vibrate. "Why do I want it to vibrate?" asked Ivy. "Just in case you are somewhere that is quite and you don't want to disturb people," said Sally. "You have the internet on it too so that means you can do searches with it too like on a computer." "I bought a lap top computer so I will use that to do searches," said Ivy. "Okay, you really are becoming modernized then," said Sally. "Let me take the pie out of the oven and let it cool. If you have the internet then you should signup to Facebook," said Cassy. "What is that?" asked Ivy. "It is a very popular social website where you can make new friends from all over the world and even talk to them with text messages," said Sally. "Wow, I am all for making new friends," said Ivy. "Does it cost money?" "Nope it's free and easy to join," said Cassy. "Do you want me to set up a personal page for you?" "Okay but what is a personal page?" asked Ivy. "That is where you put your picture on and tell people a bit about you," said Cassy. "You can also take pictures with your phone and post them there. It is a lot of fun and I am sure you will make tons of new friends fast." "Okay set it up for me please," said Ivy. "Do it after we eat. The chicken pie is cool enough now to eat," said Sally.

  After they finished eating Sally put the left over pie in the fridge and Cassy put the dishes in the sink. "Okay, give me your cell phone and let me set it up for you," said Cassy. "Come stand behind me and watch what I am doing." Ivy watched as Cassy set up her Facebook page. "Okay now I need a picture of you," said Cassy. "Just head and shoulders." "Okay do I look okay, how does my hair look?" asked Ivy. "You girl always look great," said Sally. Cassy pointed the phone at Ivy and said "Smile" then took the piciure. "There now I tap on the add profile picture icon like this then upload it. There see you look gorgeous." said Cassy. "Ya I do look good," said Ivy. "Now below your picture are some fields that you can fill in like where you live and occupation," said Cassy. "I will show you how easy it is to fill them in by putting Fae Land in the where do you live section. You don't have to fill them all in but birthday is important." Sally pulled out her cell. "Here have a look at my page," said Sally. "Wow you have lots of pictures on it," said Ivy. Well mostly of Cassy but you can put any kind of picture you take except nudes," plus some of the friends you make will put some of there pictures on your page, that is called "Sharing", said Sally. "Okay that is enough for now", said Ivy. "I have lots to do tomorrow so I am going to bed if it is okay that I sleep here tonight. I have to be at Olympia's place a bit before two o'clock." "Yep sure we need to get to bed also," said Sally. "Thanks for helping me and see you two tomorrow." Then Ivy headed off to bed. "You know, she is going to get thousands of friends fast," said Sally. "Yep I know, she will be just as popular as Taylor Swift," said Cassy. In the morning Ivy had breakfast with Sally and Cassy then they went downstairs and played some songs they just wrote for Ivy to hear. Then when it was getting close to two o'clock Ivy said goodbye then flew to Olympia's place where Sapphire was waiting for her. "Okay Ivy here is your bag with everything in it, said Olympia. "Okay all set Ivy?" asked Sapphire. "Yep sure am, lets go," said Ivy. Sapphire grabbed her hand and they vanished then reappeared in front of the palace where Alieta and Ginger were talking. "Ivy, your back already?" asked Alieta. "I thought you were going to be gone for a few days." "Well I am going back today," said Ivy. "I have to talk to Tulip and get her to help me set up a satelite dish somewhere. I think on top of the radio station will be best." What in heaven's name is a satelite dish?" asked Alieta. Hard to explain but it is needed to make everything else work," said Ivy. "So what's in the bag?" asked Ginger. "My new lap top computer, Ginger's cell phone and two shirts for Viridian plus the plans of the satelite dish. Okay, thanks for your help Sapphire I'll talk to you later," then flew off towards the fairy forest. "What is that girl up to now? asked Alieta. "You will see. When Ivy is on a mission she won't stop until she is done and working properly," said Sapphire. "Anyways I am going to visit Lulu and Sakura. Those two always make me laugh." Then she vanished. "Okay so do you know that a satelite dish is?" asked Alieta. Nope not a clue," said Ginger.

  When Ivy got to the cove she found Tulip talking to Sara by the overviewer. "Tulip, can you come over here I need your help with something," said Ivy. "I wonder what is going on," said Sara. "She is supposed to be in Granada." Both Sara and Tulip flew over. "What do you need Ivy," asked Tulip. Ivy pulled out her cell phone and showed it to Tulip. "Now this device is used in Granada by just about everyone," said Ivy. "You can call someone from home and talk to them. You can call anyone you know from anywhere in Granada for free sort of". "Okay show me how it works," said Tulip. Ivy turned on the phone and an error message popped up saying, "No Signal". "Is it suppose to say, that?" asked Tulip. "Well yes but that is what I need your help with," said Ivy. "I need you to make a new device for that will make this cell phone have a signal, it is called a satellite dish. I brought instructions for you to read and see if you can do it." Ivy took the papers out of her bag and handed them to Tulip. "Hmm, the tower just needs to be four hundred feet taller, that is easy enough so the cable will have to be made longer too then reconnected." "Ya that is what I thought," said Ivy. "Now look at the next pages, this is the harder part. Tulip began to read quietly. "Okay I got it. It is very odd looking and is very big but I can make it," said Tulip. "Perfect," said Ivy. "I knew you could do it." "So where do you want me to make it?" asked Tulip. "On top of the radio station, another cable has to be run up the tower from this dish and connected to the antenna at the top si it is nice and close that way," said Ivy. "I figured if that tower in Granada covered all of Granada which is the same size and shape as Fae Land then our tower should cover all of Fae Land." "Pretty good guess Ivy," said Tulip. "Okay lets go make it, said Ivy. She took out the other cell phone then handed the bag to Sara. "Sara, can you take my bag home then meet us there. I will need your strength to aim the dish."You bet, this sounds like fun. What's that in the bag?" asked Sara. "My new lap top computer," said Ivy. "I will let you use it too when we get everything set up." "Will I get one of those cell phones too?" asked Sara. "Most definately," said Ivy. They left the cove then Ivy and Tulip went to the radio station. "Okay so this dish is like twenty feet across and will look out of place here. No more than the tower, best we keep them all together," said Ivy. "Good thinking, your getting smarter every day," said Tulip. "Now after you build it and make the tower bigger plus make a new cable we need to get Merlin to make one of those magic circles to power everything I think." "Okay let me make the tower taller first then go on the roof and make the funny looking dish," said Tulip.

  Tulip made her wand appear then flew to the top of the tower and made it four hundred feet taller like the instructions said. "Wow that is way taller," thought Ivy. "Must be a good reason for that." Then she made a cable and connected it to the base of the antenna then dropped it down until it was even to the roof ot the station then extended it to lay on the roof in a coil. "Good now lets go up on the roof and get started on that satellite dish," said Tulip. They both flew up and looked for a good spot to make it. "Probably near the center," said Ivy. "Okay that is not so important but the instructions say it needs to be pointed south for Granada's satelite,: said Tulip. What does the satrlite in space look like?" A lot stranger looking than this one." said Ivy. "So do you think the roof is strong enough to hold it?". "Should be, it is made mostly of alluminum and brass," said Tulip. "Okay you know what you are doing," said Ivy. Tulip made her wand appear again and flew up making the base first then each connecting section. Next she made the twenty foot wide dish. "Wow it is huge," said Ivy. "Yep told you it was big," said Tulip. "Now just two more things to do then I am done." She made the four support beams that held the red receiving sensor straight. "There all done," said Tulip. "That is the oddest looking thing I have ever made." Now you need Merlin to make the magic circle for it and hook it up." "Okay he always comes when I call," said Ivy. "Good it is getting close to supper time so I am heading over to the palace," said Tulip. "Oh one more thing, tell Merlin the dish requires two hundred and twenty volts to make it work." "Okay, here comes Sara so say hi to everyone for me," said Ivy. Then Tulip flew away.

  Sara landed beside Ivy. "Wow Tulip made that," said Sara. "It's kinda pretty in a metal kind of way." "Ya it is a bit colourful compared to the drawing," said Ivy. I guess Tulip wanted it to look nicer. First lets get back on the ground so I can call Merlin to set up the power for everything." They flew down and Ivy called for Merlin to come and help her. In a few moments Merlin appeared. "Yes Ivy, what can I do for you?" asked Merlin. "I need you to make another a magic circle to power the satellite dish on the roof that Tulip made," said Ivy. "Really, there is a satellite dish up there?" asked Merlin. He looked up. "Yep there sure is and a very big one," said Merlin. "Do you know how to make a transformer too that makes two hundred and twenty volts?" asked Ivy. "Well yes I do but what are you up to Ivy?" asked Merlin. "I want to see if my theory works and see if I can make my cell phone work in Fae Land," said Ivy. "You have one of those cell phones now! You girl never cease to amaze me," said Merlin. "Yep I have two of them but one is Gingers. I need both yoght now to test ti when everything is set up," said Ivy. "Okay I see you made the tower taller," said Merlin. Now we do not need another circle, this one has more than enough power to run this and many more things plus that transformer has several conectors that are not in use yet." "Okay so we just have to hook it all up then," said Ivy. "Here ate the instructions. Merlin looked over the instructions then saw that Tulip already made the cable from the tower to the dish. "Okay now I need to make a cable that runs from the transformer to the back of the base of the dish," said Merlin. Merlin made a long cable with connectors on each end. "One of you take this end of the cable and fly up and look for a spot to plug it in. I says the back of the base. There should be two spots, one sould say "Power In" and the other should say "Signal Out". "I'll do it" said Sara. "I want to plug in the pretty satelite dish. Then Sara grabbed one end of the cable and flew up with the cord. "The dish is pretty?" asked Merlin. Ivy smiled. "You know Sara, she thinks everything is pretty," said Ivy. Sara got to the back of the satellite and found the two sockets so she plugged it in. "Okay found it but nothing is happening," said Sara. That is fine now look for the end of the cable that is coming from the twoer and see if there is a plug on it," said Merlin. Yep there is so plug it in the other socket tight?" asked Sara. "Yes please dear," said Merlin. "Okay done but still nithing is happening," said Sara. "That is okay, now stand back dear, I have to hook it up down here," said Merlin. He plugged power cable into the transformer then Sara saw the dish move up and down a bit then went still but was humming. "Okay it moved and it is making a soft humming sound," said Sara. "Good so it has power now," said Merlin. "Lets get up there. I want to see this pretty satellite dish." Merlin popped up and Ivy met him up on the roof. "Yep very big and quite colourful for a satellite dish like I saw in Granada," said Merlin. Ivy took out her phone and turned it on. "It's saying low signal two percent. That's not strong enough to reach anywhere I bet," said Ivy. "Well the center of the dish has to be pointed at the satellite in space," said Merlin. Do you see a crank anywhere Sara. "Nope just a big hole," said Sara. That is prpbably where the crank goes. It is not on these drawings so Tulip did know to make one," said Merlin. "Okay Sara, your up. You have to push the dish up higher," said Ivy. "Okay Ivy," said Sara. "She is strong enough to move that big dish?" asked Merlin. "I hope so or we will need to get Hercules too," said Ivy. Sara grabbed the dish from the bottom pushed up. It mived about two inches. Ivy looked at her phone and now it said twelve pecent signal. "We need to go higher Sara, about two feet more I am guessing," said Ivy. "Okay boss here I go," said Sara. She squatted down and grabbed the dish flapped her wings hard then pushed up with her legs and now the dish was moving slowly. Keep going it says twenty two percent now," said Ivy. "Push harder Sara." Sara started flapping her wings much faster now and started moving the dish faster. "Almost there," said Ivy. "Ninety two percent. Stop, there that might be good enough." "Good my wings were getting tired," said Sara. She flew up a bit then gave the dish a kick and said, "Stubborn pretty satellite dish then a loud beep was heard then a loud clank. Ivy looked at her phone and now it showed 100% Signal. "You did it Sara, you just had to get mad at it like you did with Dr. Shadow!" said Ivy.

  Ivy flew down beside Merlin and Sara. Now for the first test, said Ivy. She pulled out the blue cell phone and handed it to Sara then called Ginger's number. The phone started ringing. "What do I do" asked Sara. "Push the answer button and say hello," said Ivy. "Okay," said Sara. She answerd the phone and said, " Hello, who is this?" "It's Ivy silly." "Oh how are you? Are you being a good girl?" asked Sara. Merlin began to laugh. "Now both of you make me laugh," said Merlin. "Now for the final test," said Ivy. "What are you going to do now?" asked Sara. "I am going to see if I can call Olympia on Granada," said Ivy. "You think you can contact people in a different reality," said Merlin. "Hopefully, the satellite is pointed at the one in space that Granada uses," said Ivy. Ivy brought up Olympia's name and number and hit the call button. "Well it is ringing, that is a good sign," said Ivy. "Hello Ivy how are you and where are you?" Do you want to do some more shopping today?" asked Olympia. "Yep but first I have to get Sapphire to bring me back to Granada," said Ivy. "What, you are calling me from Fae Land! Ivy you did it, your anazing," said Olympia. "Now you call me and lets see if it works both ways," said Ivy. "Okay", said Olympia then they both hung up. In a moment Ivy's phone started to ring. "Hello, Olympia? "Yep it works, this is so awesome", said Olympia. "Can I talk to her?" asked Sara. "Sure," said Ivy and handed her the phone. "Hello, I am Sara, Ivy's sister. Ivy said I can have one of these cell phones too." "Well you should, sisters need to stay in touch", said Olympia. "I totally agree," said Sara. "Do you want to talk to her too Merlin?" "No that is okay," said Merlin. "I am heading over to the palace." "Okay here is Ivy back," said Sara and handed her the phone. "Hi Olympia, it is almost four o'clock  so I need to find Sapphire fast," said Ivy. "Just call Gabriel, said Olympia. "You need to rest and check to see if your lap top has internet access." "Oh ya good idea, see you in a bit", then she hung up. "I knew it would work, it all just made sense to me," said Ivy. "Now lets go to our place and see if my computer can get the internet," said Ivy. Okay, said Sara. What is the internet?" I will show you," said Ivy then they both flew off. Merlin stood there alone and just shook his head. "Young girls and their toys", he thought then popped over to the palace grounds.

Chapter 3

Back To Granada

  When the two of them got home they both ran into Ivy's room. Ivy took out the lap top from the bag then placed it on the bed and turned it on. Sara laid on the bed watching what Ivy was doing closely. "Oh good, Olympia must of charged the battery in it for me," said Ivy. "Now lets see if the internet works on it." Ivy clicked on the browser icon and the search page loaded. "Okay so far so good," said Ivy. "Why does it say Google?" asked Sara. "That is a funny word." "Beats me," said Ivy. "It's the name of a very big internet company though. So let me do a search for something." "Is there games on the internet?" asked Sara. "There must be," said Ivy. "Lets search for games. Now you see that little pointer and how it moves around as I move my finger on this touch pad?" asked Ivy. "Yep sure do," said Sara. "Well use the keyboard and type in the word "Games" then you move the pointer to that magnifing glass then tap twice on the touch pad fast like this," said Ivy. "Wow, look at all the different games," said Sara. "I have never heard of any of them before." "Me neither but more important it works and I can search the internet from home now," said Ivy. "Now you like playing card games so I bet Solitaire is here some where. Here you try finding it." "Okay, so type in the name Solitaire like that then tap twice," said Sara. "Yeah there it is!!" yelled Sara. Viridian rushed into the room. What is going on?" she asked. "We just found the card game Solitaire on Ivy's new lap top computer," said Sara. "Really Ivy brought a computer home from Granada?" asked Viridian. "Yep and here Viridian I bought you these two new tops. They are wash and wear so you don't need to iron them." said Ivy. Thank you Ivy, they are perfect, said Viridian. What did you get me? asked Sara. Well we can share the computer but you are getting a cell phone remember. I have to give this one to Ginger because it is set up with her name and phone number in it. "Okay get me a blue too, that is favorite colour though I like pink too and green and yellow.." "Ya ya you love all the colours," said Viridian. "Your turning into quite the individual." "Yep and I am just a bit over two years old," said Sara. "Anyways I have to get back to the palace. I need to talk to Alieta and give Ginger her phone  then get Gabriel to take me back to Granada," said Ivy. "I got more shopping to do. The charger for the computer is in the bag if you need it." "Okay see you later," said Sara. Ivy left for the palace. "So you have a cell phone coming and a computer to play with," said Viridian. "Yep Ivy is like Santa except not as fat and hairy," said Sara. Viridian smiled. "Okay let me help you play Solitaire like we do on the kitchen table together," said Viridian.

  When Ivy reached the palace she saw Alieta talking to Sapphire in front of the steps. "Hello, what are you two talking about?" asked Ivy. "I don't know. I just feel so calm and at peace," said Ginger. God let go of Ginger and she stopped glowing. "Why was she glowing like that?" asked Alieta. "Well my touch is much stronger than the touch of an angel plus I did something special for her and you actually," said Father. "Ginger will now never die from natural causes and stay as beautiful as she is now forever. We can't have her dying on you, can we. That would permanently break your heart Alieta." "He called me beautiful again," said Ginger. "Don't worry the effects of my touch will wear off soon," said God. "Now I must go and see my first mortal child."   When Sapphire and Ivy got to Olympus's kitchen she was just finishing the dishes. Ivy sat right down at the table. "Okay Sapphire, I am starving can I have some food please?" asked Ivy. Sapphire made a big bowl of spaghetti and a plate of meat balls for her. "Wow are you going to eat all of that?" asked Olympia. "Yep and a bowl of ice cream after," said Ivy. "Now let me eat, this is the first thing I had all day." "Well that is your own falt," said Olympia. "You could of had breakfast before you left." "I know but I was too excited," said Ivy. "Good spaghetti Sapphire, thankyou." "Well I'll be on the roof if you need me," said Sapphire then vanished. "What does she do on the roof?" asked Ivy. "I don't know but she hangs out up there a lot," said Olympia. "So what are you going to buy next?" "First I have to get a cell phone for Alieta and one for Sara," said Ivy.   After Ivy finished her ice cream the both headed back to the gadget store in the mall. "Hello, back already?" asked the sales girl. "Yep we need a bunch more cell phones with the same one year plan as mine," said Ivy. "Okay so what colours would you like?" asked the sales girl. "Lets' see a red one for Phonixa, light blue one for Repellia, a turquoise one for Alieta and another dark bule one for my sister Sara," said Ivy. "Your sister that lives in Fae Land also?" asked the sales girl. "Of coarse, where else would she live," said Ivy. We live together. "But you need a cell phone tower in Fae Land for these phones to work there," said the sales girl. "Yep I know and a satellite dish too," said Ivy. "Tulip made them today already and Merlin helped hook everything up then we tested the phones and they work perfectly. My lap top even gets the internet on it and so do the phones," said Ivy. "No way, how is that possible to build such big structures that fast?" asked the sales girl. "Tulip is a fairy and very good at making stuff with her wand," said Ivy. Olympia began to snicker. "Umm did you use your own phone to test the connections?" asked the sales girl. "Yep sure did, I called Olympus here in Granada from Fae Land," said Ivy. "Can I see your phone for a minute please? I find this hard to believe," said the sales girl. "Sure, here you go," said Ivy. "The sales girl looked at the past calls. "This is amazing. You called Olympia from Fae Land three hours ago and she called you a couple minutes after from Granada," saod the sales girl. "Yep when Ivy wants to do something she gets it done," said Olympia. "Yes I can see that," said the sales girl. "Let me check something on the computer." She handed Ivy back her phone then started typing on her computer. "Yep there it is, a brand new satellite dish called FL001. Perfectly connected to one of Telecon's space satellites. And someone is on the internet in Fae Land right now,: said the sales girl. "Ya that's my sister. She is playing solitaire on my lap top," said Ivy. "She loves that game." Did you hear a beep sound after you turned the dish on. "Yep but not until Sara adjusted the dish then gave it a kick then it gave me 100% signal on my phone. Really, she kicked the dish. How big is that dish,: asked the girl. The biggest one that was on the website, about twenty feet wide," said Ivy. The girl went back to her computer then started typing again. "Okay look here, which one was it this Tulip made for you?" asked the girl. "That one but Tulip made it look prettier than that one," said Ivy. Olympia started to chukkle again. "So how come we can see him but you can't when you are in heaven?" asked Alieta. "I can see him silly. I am the first angel he ever made and work by his side all the time," said Gabriel. "I just chose to tell you he just talks to me so you would have a bunch a questions to ask me." "So why did he pick now to visit us two?" asked Alieta. "It is time for him to visit Fae Land, this is his land that he created from a desert and is very protected," said Gabriel. "His grand plan is almost at a conclusion." "Grand plan, you know his plan?" asked Alieta. "Yep we have been working for years to get to this spot to where it is at now," said Gabriel. "So what's going to happen now? asked Alieta. Hasn't Fae Land been through enough." "Oh not to worry. God just needs to teach someone that is very close to him, a lesson that has gotten too high for her britches and is a bit mad at God right now but everyone gets mad at him from time to time," said Gabriel but enough about that for now. "There are only a handful of people in Fae Land will be able to see our lord. You two of coarse, Alexa that both of us created which kind of makes her our child in a way. Sara and Ivy too. Ivy already knows he is here. That girls' power is at it's maximum now and just did another amazing thing in Granada for Fae Land." "Okay so who else?" asked Alieta. I should make you guess but you would never figure it out," said Gabriel. "I know," said Ginger. "Really, then who is it then Ginger?" asked Gabriel. "Sakura and Pippa of coarse," said Ginger. "Well Pippa I would expect but why Sakura. Yeanny created her and she is still just a child," said Alieta. "Ya but God saw the good in Sakura and wasn't able to give her a new soul so he made her share Yeanny's soul for a while until Cindy and God split the soul so they were no longed bonded and Sakura became an individual with her own soul and now makes everyone she meets happy," said Ginger. "I think that was how it went." Gabriel smiled. "You are as smart as God says you are," said Gabriel. Yes Sakura will be able to see him and so will Pippa, the oldest and wisest of all the pixies everywhere. Sakura brings joy and laughter to everyone she meets and loves everyone in Fae Land and Pippa goes out of her way to help and make people happy. "You still have Pixie Ginger and her teleporter," said Gabriel plus Cindy, myself and Mother Nature can take a person to Granada if really needed. "The ones in Fae Land stores are made of cloth and don't last long plus then shrink after you wash them so people always have to buy them a size bigger and wash them first before wearing them. Plus they need to be ironed." "Wow, almost all the clothes sold in stores now are wash and wear," said Olympia. "I know, it's like magical clothing," said Ivy and the jeans are prewashed too." "Okay lets go. How many are you going to buy?" asked Olympia. "All they have in stock," said Ivy. Lots of girls in Fae Land will want them." When they got to the clothing store she went straight for the jeans on a lower rack against the wall. "Here they are," said Ivy. Jenny Demium Jeans. "Okay they are the best ones and most expensive," said Olympia. The Jenny line of clothing is very high end clothing and cost lots." "Oh so they are too expensive then?" asked Ivy. Farms stopped over charging in Fae Land's provinces that produced dairy, meat and veggies seeing they didn't need to make extra money to buy stuff to survive anymore. Retailers were able to buy more stock now. Restraunts as you call them paid less for food so they charged less to serve customers. Fae Land is the cheepest placed to live and began the most prosperous in a very short time plus Alieta became loved by every one." "So what you are saying is if I lowered my process so everyone could afford my casual line of clothing then people would buy more and in fact my profits would go up," said Jenny. "Well ya, for a start," said Ivy. "I bet everything you design and sell is too expensive for the regular working class people." "You may be on to something there Ivy." She could hear laughter coming from the backyard so she walked around and saw Lisa and her mother kicking a ball around. "Look Mom it's Ivy!" said Lisa. "Hello you two. I came to visit and see how things are going. You two look like your having fun," said Ivy "Yes and I am glad your using my first name now. When people use my last name it makes me feel so old," said Grace. "So a man came to our door this morning and delivered and envelope with a check in it for then thousand dollars from the Parson Relief Foundation. Lisa is certain you did this for us. Even my husband started smiling again and took the preasure off him." "Well I did tell Sparkle your situation and Lisa was my new friend," said Ivy. "Is your husband home? I would love to meet the father of such a lovely little girl". "No he has some interviews to go to," said Grace. "He is a good worker and someone will hire him soon," Said Grace.   Back at the palace grounds Penny just came out of the palace and was going to head to the stables to get a horse when out of no where a winged female being appeared in front of her. "Holy crap, where did you come from?" asked Penny. "Heaven you fool, where else do you think I came from," said the winged female being. "I don't know, all I meant is I almost waliked into you," said Penny. "One second you weren't here and then poof you appeared out of no where like Gabriel does all the time." "Gabriel, is she here?" asked the winged being. "I don't think so," said Penny slowly. "She is probably in heaven with God." "Good I don't want her interfering with my fun. My name is Fillina the dark and powerful one." "Umm okay, are you supposed to be scaring me?" asked Penny. "You really don't look scary at at. Actually your very beautiful." Fillina grew three feet taller. "Now are you scared of me?" asked Fillina. "Not really, your just taller now and still gorgeous," said Penny. "You best be scared for with one swipe of my hand I can wipe you off the face of this planet," said Fillina then she made two fire balls appear in her hands. "Okay now I am scared," said Penny. Then ran back into the palace. "There I sure showed her. So this is Fae Land that God has been keeping hidden from me. Time to have a look around and see what kind of trouble I stir up." Then Fillina flew off. Penny came back out with Alieta and Ginger. "Where is she," asked Alieta. "Beats me, she was here a minute ago," said Penny. She seemed harmless at first but very rude and arogant then she wanted to scare me." "Why?" asked Ginger. "I don't know, I was trying to be nice to her and she was so pretty. She grew bigger and threatened to kill me then she made two fire balls appear in her hands so then I ran onto the palace," said Penny. "So she is evil then," said Alieta. "Umm, not sure. She didn't hurt me," said Penny. "She had black angel wings and a very sexy robe and said she was from Heaven." Alieta looked at Ginger. "I bet that is the girl that Gabriel mentioned briefly. Did this dark angel tell you her name?" asked Alieta. "Yep a very pretty name too, Fillina," said Penny. "Okay thanks Penny, you can go home now," said Alieta. Penny headed to the stable but ran this time. "Time to get some answers," said Alieta. "Gabriel, we need to know about Fillina, " yelled Alieta.

  After Ivy Left Lisa's place she started to fly back to Olympia's place when suddenly she got a strange image in her mind. She stopped in mid air and looked around her. Then she heard a voice telling her to go to Maggy's bar. She was not sure what was going on but she was not far from the bar so she flew over to it and went in. She saw Fay behind the bar and walked up to her. "Ivy, your back in Granada!" said Fay. "Yep but I am leaving tomorrow morning though and not sure when I will be coming back," said Ivy. "Well I am sad to hear that," said Fay. "Your really cool and lots of fun plus you have a way with words that makes me feel really good. So why are you here, do you want a drink?" "No nothing to drink," said Ivy. "I came here because a voice in my head told me to go to Maggy's bar. I also saw a faint image of someone." "Really that is weird. Did you recognize the person?" asked Fay. "No but it was a man and I think he had something in his hand," said Ivy. "Can I tell you something and you won't think I am nuts?" "I would never think you were nuts," said Fay. "What's on your mind?" "Well that is the problem," said Ivy. "Just lately I have been able to sense a few things in Fae Land from Granada. That has never happened before and pretty much impossible I thought." "Okay so maybe your just imagining it," said Fay. "No it doesn't work that way," said Ivy. "When I sense someone new or different in Fae Land, I am always right. Do you believe in God?" "You mean God the creator," said Fay. "You bet he is the one that created everything good and beautiful on this planet. I pray to him almost every night." "Well I sense that he is in Fae Land right now and someone else very powerful too," said Ivy. "Really God is in Fae Land! Has he ever been there before?" asked Fay. "No, he never leaves heaven. He just sends angels down to give us messages," said Ivy. "The other being I am a bit concerned about but I sense no evil, just mischief and arrogance plus great power." "So do you think this powerful being is a danger to Fae Land?" asked Fay. "I don't no but God is there and I am sure he will take care of it," said Ivy. Just then a man came in the bar and took out a gun. "Nobody move. I want all the money you have in this bar".

Chapter 4

Last Day In Granada

Ivy turned around and saw the man pointing a gun at her. "Put down the gun sir, I am sure we can work something out," said Ivy. "Work out this said the man and took a shot at Ivy, hitting her on the arm. "Ivy went translucent and told Fay to get down behind the bar and call the police. "No body is calling anyone, said the man. You move and I will kill your friend," said the robber. "Do it Fay, he can't hurt me," said Ivy. Fay ducked behind the bar and called 911. "I told you not to call anyone. Now you are going to die," said the robber. He took another shot at Ivy but it had no effect and the bullet just went right through her. "Now I am mad you evil man," said Ivy and she lunged at him knocking him down and took the gun away from him and threw it away. Ivy pinned him down and he couldn't move. "Get off me what ever you are," said the robber. "Not until the police get here," said Ivy. "I am forest sprite and sprites are many times stronger than a human." "Wow Ivy you got him pinned good," said Fay. "The police will be here in a minute. Oh no your bleeding." "Ya I should of read him before I tried to talk to him," said Ivy. "Sapphire, I need your help fast!" yelled Ivy. In a moment Sapphire appeared. What the heck happened here?" asked Sapphire. "This evil man wanted to rob the bar and shot me," said Ivy. "Holy crap let me fix that for you," said Sapphire. Just before she could heal Ivy the police ran in. "Okay we got it from here Ivy," said a cop. "We will call an ambulance to take you to the hospital." No need I got this," said Sapphire and touched Ivy's arm and healed it instantly. "Okay then, forget the ambulance," said the cop. Two other police men picked the man up and cuffed him then took him out of the bar. "Well Ivy you are one remarkable girl and very lucky to be alive," said the cop. "A fairy nymph, said Sapphire. "There is a very big difference." The cop smiled. "Well thankyou, this man will never bother anyone again. He is wanted outside of Granada for murder. He has killed three people in cold blood." "Yep, definately an evil man with a black soul," said Ivy. "The cop left the bar and Ivy punched Sapphire on the arm. "Ouch that hurt, what was that for?" asked Sapphire. "Some protector of the queen of the forest you are, "said Ivy. "You heard him, I could of been killed." "Oh that, I am sorry Ivy. I wasn't on the roof so I didn't know where you were until you called out." "The roof at Olympia's appartment?" asked Ivy. "Yep I go up there so I can sense if any new Fae come to Granada," said Sapphire. "It is nice and high with no obsticals in the way. Will you forgive me?" Ivy smiled. "Yep your forgiven. So how are you, Fay?" asked Ivy. "A bit unnerved but okay. You can really kick butt," said Fay. "Yep one thing you don't want to do is get Ivy mad or threaten a friend of hers," said Sapphire. "Ya I saw that, said Fay. "I bet that was God that told you to come here." "Ya, I think so too," said Ivy. "What God talked to you?" asked Sapphire. Gabriel appear in front of Alieta and Ginger. "Okay so you two met Fillina?" asked Gabriel. "No but Penny did and she scared her," said Alieta. "Really, Fillina isn't scary looking at all," said Gabriel. "It was when she made two fireballs appear in her hands and threatened to kill Penny that she got scared and ran to get us two," said Alieta. "She was gone when we got out here." Oh okay but she wouldn't of hurt Penny," said Gabriel. "It's not in her to hurt or kill anything. "Okay so what is she then and Penny said she was from heaven," said Alieta. "Well yes she lives in heaven and she is not evil at all," said Gabriel. "All I can tell you is what God told me about her and that she was his responsibily and he will take care of her". "Okay so what is she," asked Alieta. "Having black wings sounds like she is a dark angel like Apollonia." "Nope she is not an angel at all," said Gabriel. "She is a lesser God created by God long before he created me. He created her after creating the universe and put the overlords in charge of maintaining it. God created the solar system that earth is part of and brought water and plant life to earth. As soon as the planet was ready he created the Tiffies and Fairy Nymphs then much later on humans. He gave humans free will and they were fine at first but as time went by they became territorial and small wars broke out so now he had to deal with souls coming to heaven. That is when he created Fillina. She was given a lot of the powers he has but could not make new souls and a bunch of other stuff that even I don't know about. Basicly he made a helper and a very beautiful one. Let me tell you God has good taste in making girls." Ginger began to giggle. "So he made himself a girlfriend?" asked Ginger. "Mostly a helper but I feel Fillina is very much in love with God. Now as the human race grew and evil creatures showed up on earth from somewhere, demons I think. God created me and put me in charge of judging the souls and making more angels from pure white soles. Now that is when Fillina started to act out a bit doing silly things on earth to get God's attention. She would stop very smart people from inventing new things by making what ever they made, not work even though they should of. Now that worked for many years in both the realities but in Granada's reality, there was just too many people spread out all over the world and she couldn't keep track of their advancements so she focused her attention on Fae Land's reality. She was able slow down technolgy advancements to a crawl which was fine with God at that time." "Sounds to me that Fillina is jellous of you and the other angels," said Ginger. "Yep, that is my thoughts exactly," said Gabriel. "You see Fillina is a very powerful lesser god with a pure white soul but she was given free will also. She is mostly harmless to anything that is alive but she can be very mischievous and play tricks with people just for fun." "Like Ivy was when she first came to Fae Land," said Ginger. "Pippa called her a trickster." "Yep sort of like Ivy was but with much more power and intellegence then she had back then," said Gabriel. "So why are we able to have electricity and a radio station now if she was stopping advancements?" asked Alieta. "Because God kept Fae Land hidden from her. This was his chosen place and kept it unknown to her until now for some reason. Fillina knew God was up to something and didn't let her know which made her Mad ay him. She made wings for herself, turned them black then began trying to scare people hopong God would pay more attention to her. When he made it possible for Fillina to find Fae Land, he told me that this was his final test but didn't tell me what the test was. That is where I am at and can't tell you anything more." "Okay so will she show herself to us or just who she chooses," asked Alieta. "Oh she can't go invisisble like God allowing just some to see him and not others. Everybody can see her when she is visalbe and she is very easy on the eyes, especially when she hasn't got those black wings showing. She really likes them and loves flying around even yhough she doesn't need them to travel," said Gabriel. They do look kinds good on her and when she is in heaven she loves showing them off to the other angels." "So what is Fillina's real purpose on earth?" asked Alieta. "Not just earth but thousands of planets, she can reshape the land waking amazing landscapes. God says she is the best at thet just like Lilly is the best at making things look better." said Gabriel. "Okay so I will be around keepng and eye on her but I was told not to interfere no matter what and remember, Fillina will not harm anyone here ever. Compliment her on her wings, she likes hearing that plus like Ivy she dosen't think she is a pretty as people tell her." Then Gabriel vanished.

  Ivy and Sapphire got back to Olympia's place where she was standing nervously in the kitchen. "There you are," said Olympia. "Are you okay Ivy. Sapphire just said you were in trouble and vanished." "Yep I am fine, said Ivy. I needed to get Sapphire to heal me." "Heal you, how come?" asked Olympia. "A very evil man with a black soul tried to rob the Maggy's bar when I was visiting Fay," said Ivy. "I tried to talk to him but he got mad and shot me in the arm with a gun." "He shot you, then what happened?" asked Olympia. "Well not much, I just went tanslucent and jumped him," said Ivy. "I took the gun and threw it away and held him down on the floor until the police came." "You disarmed and held a man down on the floor, how big was this guy?" asked Olympia. "Oh he was a very big guy with muscles," said Sapphire. "Not strong enough to be able to take on a sprite though." "So sprites are very strong, how strong?" asked Olympia. "About four times stronger than a human male, maybe more. "Alieta is even stronger than that," said Ivy. "She is like a super sprite." "Well I am glad you are okay," said Olympia. "When I go to Fae Land I want you there alive and well." "Oh that reminds me, said Sapphire. You need to finish packing and get your money out of the bank. You are going to Fae Land in two days." "What! How long have you known that?" asked Olympia. "Umm, just a couple days," said Sapphire. I just forgot to tell you when Ivy came back to Granada. Am I in trouble." Olympia shook her head then said,"No silly. Stop thinking you are in trouble all the time. Yea Fae Land finally! Come help me pack," said Olympia and grabbed Sapphire by the arm and took her to the bedroom. "Okay so that would mean Olympia doesn't need to take care of Fae girls anymore," thought Ivy. "Well I am going to have some of the ice cream. Can't have that going to waiste."

  After Ivy ate a couple of bowls of ice cream she left a note on the table for Olympia telling her she went to Cassy and Sally's place. She also said she will be back in the morning to get Sapphire to take her back to Fae Land with the blue jeans and phones. When she got to Cassy and Sally's place she could hear them downstairs practicing so she went to see them. "Hi Ivy your back!" said Cassy. "We heard what you did today on the news at Maggy's bar." "Really it was on the news?" asked Ivy. "Yep, they are calling you a hero," said Sally. "You single handedly took down public enemy number one. They want to give you a reward." "A reward, I don't want a reward for doing what was right," said Ivy. "I am just happy Fay didn't get hurt and that evil man is in jail now." "Oh okay, we figured you would say something like that," said Cassy. "So this will be my last night here in Granada. I am going back to Fae Land in the morning," said Ivy. "I may not be back for a very long time." "Really, how come, we love you Ivy," said Cassy. "And I love you two but we can talk on the cell phones and send each other pictures. I have it so we can do that now." "Okay, that will have to do then," said Sally. Just then out of no where Cindy appeared. "There you are," said Cindy. "You are one girl that is hard to find."

  Ivy turned around and said hi to Cindy. "So why were you looking for me?" asked Ivy. "Is there something wrong in Fae Land? I have sensed a new being there." "No all is fine in Fae Land and that new being is Fillina, God's first creation," said Cindy. "I thought Gabriel was his first," said Ivy. "Yes his first angel but Fillina is not an angel and was created long before Gabriel," said Cindy. "So why I am here is to tell you Gabriel put me in charge of all the angels in this reality so you won't be seeing much of me anymore at least for a while. Gabriel has finished training all my angels so she will be back with you all in Fae Land when you need her." "Okay so you got a promotion then," said Ivy. "Do you get more money now?" "Angels don't get paid silly," said Cindy. "I know, I was joking," said Ivy. Cindy laughed. "I am going to miss you Ivy more than anyone there. Now Sally and Cassy, seeing I am here I should talk to you two also." "Umm okay," said Sally. Your the first angel we have ever seen." "Well you will be seeing more of me from time to time," said Cindy. "Seeing you are Ivy's friend I am going to make sure your life will progress as it was meant to. I did some research on rock stars and most of them go through a very long stretch of over drinking and doing drugs. You two were given a talent so drugs and alchol will just ruin things for you." "But we don't do drugs and barely drink. Just some wine or a mug of beer," said Cassy. "Yes I know, so lets keep it that way girls," said Cindy. "Now can you play that song that Ivy wrote. I didn't get a chance to hear it but I was told it was very good and Ivy sounds great when she sings." "Sure okay, said Cassy. "Never Give Up, right." "Yep that's my song," said Ivy.

  Back in Fae Land Fillina has been flying all over the place seeing big towns and villages, parks and a big waterfall plus a huge area of trees and flower gardens. "I just don't get it," said Fillina. "I know I have flown over this part of the continent many times in the past and none of this was here. Just wide open grasslands, completely barren of wild life and people. Not one house or even a shed anywhere but this place looks like it has been flourishing for many years. Over there looks like a radio tower and station and on that bulding there is a satellite dish on the roof. No where else in this reality has advanced this far. I made sure of that." Fillina flew a bit more north and saw a big park with lots of people in it. Some of the people that saw her began to wave at her. "Are they waving, why would they do that? I have black wings and they have never seen me before. I got to find out what is going on," she said. "There must be some person of importance here that will have some answers for me." Fillina turned and headed back towards the palace. She kept looking around as she was heading back towards the big palace. "Well I definately can make some improvements here and there but this is a very beautiful place," thought Fillina to herself.
