Western Plains Attack

 When Alieta got back to the palace she found Ginger standing nervously in front of the steps. So any news from Pippa yet? asked Alieta. Nothing yet, said Ginger. Well I did tell her to go let Alexa know first, said Alieta. So you look nervous for some reason, how come? You left me in charge when a demon was coming, said Ginger. You know I get scared easy plus who is Apollonia? Oh we met her this morning, said Alieta. She is a dark angel that God made to fight battles on earth. Gabriel said she can kill demons easily, said Alieta. Why is she a dark angel? asked Ginger. Well her wings are black and she doesn't follow the same rules as all other angels to I guess that is why, said Alieta. She is young but I am sure she will be good to have around. So we just have to wait and see what Pippa found out for us. Then Pippa seemed to appear out of nowhere. I am back and went to Alexa's place first as you asked, said Pippa. Do you know how much ground the three of us had to cover to find something? Well lots, said Pippa. Anyways we found them alright, said Pippa. So what is going on out there, asked Alieta. Well they are in the west over by the woods that borders the plains and there are about two hundred of them is my best guess and they look like Troglodytes. I did not see any leader though so he must still be in the woods, said Pippa. So they are not moving yet then? asked Alieta. Nope, not yet, said Pippa. But to the south, north and west is just all desert and barren land for miles. Fae Land is very close to where those woods are. Okay, thanks for your help Pippa. Okay and Pippa flew off to the woods. So there is an army of nasty Troglodytes and a unknown leader, said Alieta. I will have Jazmen send out some sprites to watch for them. She waved down a sprite and told her to relay the message to Jazmen. So now you are back on duty so I am going back in the palace, said Ginger. Alieta smiled then they both went back in the palace.

Over five hours had passed when Jazmen showed up at the palace and went to talk to Alieta. Okay best we get ready, said Jazmen. The troglodytes are on the move, headed this way and they are not moving slowly, said Jazmen. So how long do you think it will take them to get to Fae land? asked Alieta. At the rate they are going, maybe six hours, said Jazmen. Okay take a few sprites with you and alert Alexa and she will tell you what team members will be needed but have them all report here first, said Alieta. Should I send out some armed sprite to begin thinning them out? asked Jazmen. Not yet, let Alexa make that call, said Alieta. We still don't know what the leader is yet and sprites in the air may not be a good idea at this time, said Alieta. Okay, that makes sense, said Jazmen then flew off. Ginger came back outside and saw Jazmen flying away. What is going on? asked Ginger. The attack has started, said Alieta. Sorry but I am back in the palace now, said Ginger and she headed back in. Ginger, wait, you never have to think that I think less of you because you scare easy and don't want to fight, said Alieta. You are not a warrior, you are my best friend that does so many important things for me. I will never put you in harms way. Don't worry, Alexa will take care of this threat like she always does. I know, I just feel safer in the palace doing something, said Ginger. Makes me worry less. Then Ginger went in the palace.

Once Alexa heard the news she told Jazmen that just Viridian and Zatsuky were needed. What about my army? asked Jazmen. I want you and two other sprites to go ahead and keep tracking them and the rest of the army outside of the west border just in case something goes wrong but I don't think they will need to fight, said Alexa. Okay, Alieta said she wanted you all to meet at the palace first, said Jazmen. Okay, we can do that, said Alexa. Alexa got ready and headed out to the palace. When she got to Ivy's place, Ivy flew over to her. There coming, said Ivy, make sure you bring Apollonia with you. I know but why did you say bring Apollonia too, asked Alexa. She is God's warrior and very powerful, said Ivy. Okay Ivy I will take your advice, said Alexa. Ivy smiled then went back to Repellia and Phonixa. Once at the palace both Viridian and Zatsuky were already there waiting for her with Alieta. Okay what's the plan? asked Zatsuky. First I need Apollonia here, Ivy thinks she will be useful, said Alexa. She is an angel, said Zatsuky, what can she do to help? Let's wait and see, said Alexa then called out for Apollonia that appeared almost instantly. Okay listen up everyone. We want to end this battle before they get too close to Fae Land but just incase Jazmen has her army on the west border. We need to ride as fast as we can and meet the creatures that Jazmine said are moving very fast. As soon as we see them in the distance I want Viridian to get ready for them above Zatsuky then when in range you two do your thing with the weapons. Once you have killed all of them we will wait to see what kind of boss we are going to be dealing with. Apollonia put up her hand. Yes Apollonia. you can just talk, we are not in school, said Alexa. Oh okay. Wouldn't it be better if we just went there now and started the fight before they get any closer? asked Apollonia. Yes that is what we are going to do, said Alexa. We will ride fast. Just let me take you there, I know where they all are, said Apollonia. You mean you can teleport us three there all at once? asked Alexa. Yep, just tell me how far away from them you want to be then lets go, said Apollonia. Alexa looked at Alieta that was just smiling. Okay, how about two hundred yards, said Alexa. You got it, said Apollonia, then they all vanished. Okay that was new and interesting, said Alieta. She called over a couple elves to bring their horses to the stable.

Okay, now that is the way to travel, said Zatsuky. Well looks like Apollonia put us exactly where I asked so you two get in position then get firing when they are close enough, said Alexa. Zatsuky ran forward some and Viridian went out to the left some. Okay you hang with me and watch, said Alexa. Can I kill those two Troglodytes or do you want to? asked Apollonia. What two Troglodytes? asked Alexa. The two running towards us over there. Alexa looked and saw two big Troglodytes running fast right at them and were almost on them. Yes, yes kill them fast, said Alexa. Apollonia put out a hand and killed both of them instantly with some kind of invisible power turning them to dust. Man that was close, said Alexa. You have some serious power hidden in you. Yep God gave it to me, said Apollonia. Where the heck did they come from though, said Alexa. Must of been scouts or something, I guess you should of said three hundred yards away, said Apollonia. I see, well if you see anymore coming don't bother to ask just do what you just did to those two, said Alexa. Okay thanks, said Apollonia. Okay the girls are in position now, said Alexa. Watch how they work together to kill all these creatures fast. Viridian lit up her sword from above and then Zatsuky did the same on the ground making sure none of the Troglodytes got away. Hey they are really good, said Apollonia. That demon is getting very angry looking though. What demon? asked Alexa. The one up high in the air watching all his army getting fried, said Apollonia. I don't see anyone up there, said Alexa.

Well he is there, demons can't hide from an angel, that is why they don't like us. They are not scared of them though because they know they can't do anything to harm them. That is one of the stupid rules they have in heaven that always made me mad. But you can? asked Alexa. Yep, I do what ever I want, said Apollonia. Zatsuky and Viridian came running over. Okay they are all dead now, said Zatsuky. Now we wait for the boss, right? We don't have to, said Alexa. Apollonia can already see the demon. Really, tell us where he is and we will blast him, said Viridian. Those weapons are very powerful but while he is invisible they will just pass right through him doing no harm, said Apollonia. I can take care of him if you want. You might as well you are the one that can see him, said Alexa. Oh good, I will make it so you can watch, said Apollonia. Can I play with him a bit first and get him really really mad? Um, sure I guess. You did say you do whatever you want, said Alexa. Cool, I can't wait to tell Ivy about this, said Apollonia then she flew up into the sky. Are you sure she should be doing this alone? asked Zatsuky. I am very sure, said Alexa, she just turned two Troglodytes to dust by just raising her hand. That girl is packed full of power. If she wants to play with him first then who am I to stop a dark angel from having some fun. They all looked up and watched as Apollonia flew up then stopped in mid air. A big winged red demon appeared looking very mad. A fallen angel, are you here to help me on my quest? asked the demon. Nope I am here to kill you, said Apollonia. The demon laughed loudly. You can't kill me I am immortal, nothing can kill me. Apollonia flew up very close to his face and laughed back at him. That shows you how stupid you are. Demons are just a bi-product of hell with tiny little brains filled with hatred. I will turn you into dust you smart ass little angel, said the demon then threw two fire balls at her that passed right through Apollonia. That tickled, my turn now, said Apollonia. She waved both her arms down at him that sent the demon down fast crashing to the ground. The demon was shocked and went to disappear but Apollonia stopped him. My friends want to watch me play with you so your not going nowhere dummy, said Apollonia. What kind of dark angel are you? asked the demon that slowly got back on his feet. The kind that God makes to fight evil ones like you, said Apollonia. Now the demon was scared and started to run away from her but Apollonia waved a hand and turned both his legs to dust. The demon screamed in pain then she turned the rest of him to dust leaving just his head looking up at her. Not so big and scary anymore are you, said Apollonia. Then she made his head small and kicked it to where Zatsuky and Viridian were standing. Okay girls finish him off, I am finished playing, said Apollonia. They both smiled then both of them blasted the head turning it to dust.

Apollonia walked over to them looking very pleased with herself. How did I do, was that okay? I could of turned all of him to ash at once but I wanted him to feel what it was like to suffer first, said Apollonia. That was amazing girl. I have never seen an angel do that before, said Zatsuky. No angel that I have read about has ever done that before, said Alexa. Not even the apocalypse angels. Okay so your sword isn't glowing anymore so we are done here, said Alexa. Time to go back to the palace and report to Alieta. Okay, lets go, said Apollonia and they all vanished. They reappeared not far from Alieta that was close to the sundial. There you all are, I take it all has been taken care of? asked Alieta. You could say that, said Viridian. It would seem that Apollonia is one powerful angel in disguise. Zatsuky and I took care of all the Troglodytes but Alexa let her kill the demon all by herself which I must say was fun to watch. What do you mean fun? asked Alieta. She teased and played with him first. Got him really mad then he became very scared of Apollonia. She made parts of his body vanish then kicked his head over to us like a soccer ball to finish the job. It was something you had to see to believe. Alieta looked around but couldn't see Apollonia anywhere. Where did she go, I wanted to ask her a few questions and thank her, said Alieta. I think I know where she is, said Alexa. Apollonia is like a pixie meaning she does whatever she wants but she did say she could hardly wait to tell Ivy about her adventure. So she is probably at Ivy place. Really, why Ivy? asked Alieta. Think about it, Apollonia is new and doesn't know many people here and Ivy has a way of making friends with everyone, said Alexa. It was Ivy that flew over to me and told me to make sure I take Apollonia with me so Ivy likes her. The twins are there too, said Alieta. Cool, now Apollonia will have three friends here. That angel may be super powerful but she has personality of a teenager if you haven't noticed. That I have noticed in her, said Alieta. Did she follow your instructions though? Yep, exactly and even asked permission to kill two Troglodytes that were running right at me while Zatsuky and Viridian were doing there thing, said Alexa. She is welcome to help out the team whenever there might be a demon involved. So where is Ginger? She is usually out here with you. When I told her there might be a demon out there she went and hid in the palace, said Alieta. She is not unlike the rest of the elves here when it comes to scary beings. That is why it is a good thing not to let anyone know about attacks on Fae Land when possible. They can read about it later in one of my books.
