The Fight With Malak

 Soon they reached the cabin that had no snow on it nor did the ground surrounding it even though it was still snowing out a bit. Taiyo stepped forward and called out to Malak to come out. He came out and asked what they wanted. We are here to get the weather orb and bring it back to Mother Nature, said Taiyo. What makes you weak creatures think you can do that? asked Malak. He then blasted a fire ball at Taiyo that crouched down behind his shield. It bounced off and he could barely feel it hit. Malak wondered what kind of magic that was so he sent a lightning charge and the shield did the same thing. He then tried ice bolts and rock arrows and they also had no effect. Malak decided he was no match for the shield so he decided tried something else. Taiyo rejoined the group as Malak raised his hands high in the air and the wind and snow started to speed up and spin all around the team making it hard for them to see what he was doing. Tempressa sent a bolt of ice at him throught the whirlwind tunnel which took him by surprise and knocked him down but he quickly got back up. "Tempressa is that you, sister of Mother Nature?" yelled Malak. Yes it is and you better give up because we are going to get the orb back one way or another, said Tempressa. Ha ha ha! he laughted, how are you going to do that? Then Mother Nature appeared from above and sent out some kind of charge that slowed down the whirlwind until the team could step out of it. Mother Nature disappeared before he could see her. Man I love my big sister, said Tempressa. So do we, said Alexa. Diego started to shoot arrow after arrow at him but all deflected wide him except for one that hit Malak in the leg. He screamed and got even madder. The team started towards Malak with shields raised and saw him wave his hands and all the arrows that Diego sent at him came back at them all which deflected off the shields except for one that hit Alexa in the front of her shoulder as she was looking to see what Malak was doing. Ouch she screamed. I should of known better than to look and see what was happening, she thought.

This made Alexa very very mad and wanted to charge him but Tempressa stopped her and said I will take over now. She dropped her shield and and pointed a finger at him and sent out a continuous stream of ice at him. He countered with a continuous stream of fire. Things were fairly even for a bit so Tempressa raised her other finger and sent two continuous ice streams at him. Malak countered by doing the same. Things were still at a stand off and Tempressa turned to Alexa that was now bleeding out pretty bad. Everyone started moving back like they did with the evil witch, hoping he will follow so they can circle around then get behind him. Tempressa told Taiyo and Oaklyn to circle around and if he gets far enough away then you two get behind him an give one of those kicks that you do. They continued to move back and luckily he followed them. They both circled around him but Taiyo told Oaklyn that he will only be needed to kick him. You stay to the side and distract him some how. She smiled and agreed. Tempressa told Alexa that she can not keep this up for much longer. They continued to move back and the two centaurs circled around him out of sight at first. Alexa could tell Tempressa was weakening but all of a sudden Mother nature appeared behind Tempressa and put both her hands on Tempressa's shoulders. The ice streams doubled in strength and Malak screamed, "Hey that is not fair, two against one". Then Oaklyn moved in closer so he could see her and started to sing loudly a popular nursery song. Then Taiyo knew it was his turn to get behind him quietly. He turned and kicked him square in the back knocking him down. Alexa ran out and stabbed him three times but he was still alive and asked her who are you people? She said we are the heros of Fae Land. She then cut off his head then stuck the sword deep into his fore head. Malak's eyes closed and he was finally dead. Alexa fell to her knees as she used the last bit of strength she had to kill him. Ktara ran to her and carried her to back Diego. My wonderful but silly hero, don,t you die on me, said Diego. I will try not to, said Alexa. Then Mother Nature ran into the house and got the orb. She went to Alexa and froze the deep wound to stop the bleeding. Alexa had lost alot of blood and was fading fast. Then Mother Nature told them to stay put then she disapeared and reappeared in front of Alieta. I have good news and very bad news, said Mother Nature. We got the orb back but Alexa got hurt bad and is dying. Get  your doctor here fast. Oh my god, not my Alexa! Then Mother Nature vanished again.

Diego was now crying. Alexa looked at him and said, I guess men can get emotional too. He just smiled and said,"You know I love you don't you". Yes, said Alexa and I love you too. Then her eyes shut and passed out from lose of blood. Mother Nature reappeared and grabbed both of them to teleported back to the palace where the doctor was waiting for them. He got the elves to bring a couple of cots over where he had a IV unit already set up. Mother nature appeared right beside the doctor with the Alexa and Diego and he instructed him to place Alexa on the cot and remove her gloves and shoes. He cut open the cloth on her left arm and took a blood sample then put in in a different glass vial and swished it around abit until it changed colour then smiled. Good a common blood type, said the doctor. He then went to Diego and took a blood sample from him and did the same thing and swished it around and it turned the same colour. It's a match, said the doctor with a smile. He instructed Diego to roll up his sleeve and lay on the other cot quickly. The doctor then put one end of the IV in his arm then draped it over the IV unit, then inserted the other end into Alexa's arm. The doctor instucted Diego to start squeezing his hand over and over again until the blood had filled the bag and reached Alexa. The doctor gave Diego's arm a few hard squeezes to get the blood pumping faster then said now we wait. She is in Gods hands now.

Alieta had finally stopped crying and the doctor went over to her and asked if this was the same Alexa that I have heard so much about going on all those quests? Yes she is the one. Please don't let her die, said Alieta. I did my best, said the doctor. We can not afford to lose this one. Now it is up to her and God. My Alexa is a fighter, said Diego. After about half an hour the blood stopped moving into Alexa's arm so the doctor removed the IV from her arm. He instructed the elves to bring her up stairs on the cot slowly and very carefully and put her in the most comfortable bed you have. That will be mine, said Alieta. The elves carefull brought Alexa upstairs to Alieta's room and carefully placed her on the bed and covered her up to keep her warm. The doctor told them that all we can do is wait. Alieta got some elves to bring in three chairs for the doctor, Diego and herself to sit on. No one is leaving her bedside, said Alieta. Downstairs the others had finally arrived and were told by the elves that no one was allowed upstairs. Only Alieta, Diego and the doctor was allowed in the room. They all looked very worried but one elf told them that the doctor was the best in the land and performed his science on her and has never lost a patient. This helped them to calm down a bit so the elves brought in a bunch of happy food for them but they all said they were not hungry. There was many flavors of ice cream plus danishes and cakes with lots of icing on them. After a while Ktara was watching the ice cream slowly melt like the snow outside. She was eyeing the chocolate ice cream and said what the heck, no need to let it go to waste. She grabed a bowl and a spoon and dug in. Paisley had a thing for cherry cake and grabbed a plate and a fork. They all agreed and started eat their favorite desert. When they were finished they all felt tired but no one wanted to fall asleep. But nature took over and soon they were all sleeping in their chairs.
