"Well that was very good," said Katilina. "I almost finished all of it." "Ya me too," said Alieta. Sally believes too much is better than not enough." Well there are thirty of my elves out there. Can one fairy feed all of them?" asked Katilina. "No problem," said Alieta. "Just Tulip and Lilly used to keep food out all day during the Harvest Festival when we used to have it," said Alieta. "There would be over a hundred people there at any given time." "Well then thirty elves will be no problem," said Katilina. "Now you said to Sally, that she is still young at one hundred years old. To me that makes her just under half her life span. How long do the elves live for here? You talked about Ginger being one of the oldest elves but she looks not a day over twenty five." "Well you see, in Fae Land there has been white magic coming from Eden for many years," said Alieta. "The magic has been getting stronger and spreading for just as long. White magic is God's life essence made from his love. People that live in Fae Land will start to feel the effects of this magic in a very short amount of time." "So this magic is like a fountain of youth or something?" asked Katilina. "More like something," said Alieta. "You see the pure white magic effects the body in many ways. First is you will never get sick, not even get the common cold. Next is your body will heal it's self very quckly except for broken bones that need to be set back in place first. A cut will be healed in one day. A fractured bone or reset bone in three days." "Wow, that is amazing," said Katilina. Yes but the best part is the magic gives long lives to mortals extending their lives many times over and a person stops physically aging at around twenty five give of take a year or two. Ginger is older than me and has spent most of her life here even before Fae Land was named Fae Land." "So how old are you then, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Katilina. "Well not exactly sure, I lost track a long time ago but over a thousand years old, probably longer but sprites are everlasting and will never die if they are not killed or have a deadly accident." "Ginger is more that a thousand years old!" said Katilina. Sally came back into the room. "Excuse me you two but I heard there are thirty elves outside being fed by a fairy," said Sally carring a tray with a big jug of water on it. Yes that is correct, said Alieta. "Well fairies can't make water and your girls will need water to wash the food down plus water is the giver of life. A person can live for a week with no food but after two days with no water, you are sure to die from dehydration. Candy, Beth and Jill are in the kitchen so if you need anything else just call for them. "They know I am outside then going to town to see if I can find a child's tea cup table and chairs set." Then Sally left. "Didn't she say my girls will need water?" asked Katilina. "Yes she did," said Alieta. "Well over half of my elves are men and very strong good looking ones, said Katilina. All single too. Those boys get a look at her and she is going to become very popular among them very fast." "What about the girl elves you have. Are they not single?" asked. "Yep they are but very tough and rough looking, far from as beautiful as your Sally. I have a feeling one of my elves will not be travelling back home with me." Alieta started to laugh. "Sally wanted to meet just any guy no matter how he looked and now she is walking into a big group of handsome men that are single," said Alieta. Talk about having ones prayers answered in a big way." "Ya that is funny how that happened so quickly," said Katilina. "It's like God was listening to us here." "Nope not God, me," said Fillina that just appeared out of nowhere. "I made sure she could hear you two talking. A little volume adjustment you might say." When Sally got outside she saw that the elves were not all out front of the palace like she thought they would be. Instead she saw them all sitting down over by the stables. "Okay take my time and watch my step, I don't want to trip," Sally thought to herself. She started walking slowly towards the stable and saw Lilly was there making food for them all. She was getting closer now but the tray with the jug on it was getting heavy now because of the way she had to hold it. Her foot hit a small rock and she almost tripped spilling a bit of water from the jug. "Wow that was close," thought Sally. An elf saw Sally and that she was having some difficulty carring the jug and tray so he got up and ran over to her. "Here let me help you with that," said the elf and took the tray from Sally. She looked at him and said, "Your a boy elf." "Yes last time I looked," said the elf with a smile. "And you are a very beautiful girl elf." Sally started to blush. "You think I am beautiful?" asked Sally. "Of coarse, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. My name is Jaydren, yours must be Goddess." "No silly my name is Sally, short for Sally-Anne." "Well Sally thanks for bringing us all some water. Would you like to join us for some brunch?" asked Jaydren. Um is there more boys there?" asked Sally. "Yep but don't worry about them, just sit beside me and they won't bother you. Everyone is watching Lilly and are amazed to see a fairy for the first time." "Okay, if you say so," said Sally. They got to the circle of elves and Jaydren put the tray down in the middle of the circle. Okay all, self serve water here when you want some." "Lilly can you make a bunch of plastic cups for them. I couldn't carry anymore," said Sally. "You got it Sally," said Lilly. She then went to the jug and made a couple stacks of cups. Jaydren took Sally by the hand and brought her where his plate of food was. "So what would you like to eat?" asked Jaydren. "Lilly will make what ever you want." "I know but I am not hungry. I am in charge of the kitchen in the palace and have already eaten," said Sally. "Oh so you can cook then. I am not so good at cooking," said Jaydren. "Yep I love cooking for people," said Sally. "Making food for them makes them happy which makes me happy too. Why does everyone keep looking at me?" "Well look at the other girl elves here. They are nowhere near as pretty as you," said Jaydren. "Sally looked around and saw that most of the girls were very hard looking with messy hair. The guys on the other hand were all pretty good looking." "Okay, a shower and a shampoo, and they would look better," said Sally. "It would take more than that, said Jaydren. "These girls love to fight for some reason. Well I have had enough to eat. Let me thank Lilly then have a drink then we can go over there by that apple tree and talk some more before you have to go back to the palace." He brought his plate with him and placed it beside the jug of water then had a drink. Thanks for the food Lilly it was very good," said Jaydren. "Your very welcome," said Lilly. "Would you like some desert?" "No I am full," said Jaydren. Sally and I are going to talk more beside the tree over there." Lilly looked and saw the tree and didn't remember seeing it there before. "Okay be nice to her, she has lots of friends and is one of the special ones." "What do you mean special ones?" asked Jaydren. "She can cook and likes to feed people," said Lilly. "Don't you think that is special?" "Yes that is very special," said Jaydren. And that makes you special too then." Lilly smiled. He walked back over to Sally. "Okay lets go over by that apple tree there and we can talk with nobody looking at you," said Jaydren. How do you know that is an apple tree?" asked Sally. "I see no apples." "I will tell you when we get there'" then Jaydren took Sally's hand again and led her to the tree and they sat down. "So you see I know a lot about fruit trees," said Jaydren. My Grandfather used to own a orchard and I helped him with it. He taught all about the different types of fruit trees and how to lell them apart." "So you are a fruit tree expert then," said Sally. "Yes I guess I am," said Jaydren. I cam tell by the shape of the leaves and if you take a leaf and crack the stem open you can smell the hink of apple." "Wow I didn't know that." said Sally. "How would you like to come with me to town? I have to find a children's small tea table set," said Sally. "So you are married with kids?" asked Jaydren. "No not me, there are two adorable Precious pets that live in the palace and they love to eat but the table in the dining room is too big for them. Katalina told me a chilfrens table set would be perfect for them." "Okay I get it. Give them their own table to eat at," said Jaydren. Yep, that's the plan," said Sally. "Come let me get my horse from the stable and we can go." "Well my horse is being fed and watered and looks like groomed too," said Jaydren. Sally smiled. Ya us elves treat horses with respect," said Sally. "We can't fly like sprites or pixies so treat them right and they will treat you rright. We can both go on my horse. You can drive." They went and got Sally's horse then took off across the palace grounds. Alieta and Katilina both stood up. "So it was you that made it so Sally could over hear us talking?" asked Alieta. "Yes sure did," said Fillina. "Katilina is right, Fae Land does have a problem here. God did what he could to try and get more male elves here like there is in the human population but places with male elves are too far away. And over ninty percent of the elves here are girls. They can't make babies by themselves you know. You Katilina have all the male elves that are close enough to help solve this problem. God figured I would be better at getting things going than him because I am a woman and know how women think. Plus I knew all about your area with all the clan fights." "Um who is this woman Alieta?" asked Katilina. "Well brace yourself but this is Fillina, God's helper and girlfriend," said Alieta. She is a god also just not as powerful as the creator." "What, there are two Gods and you are God's girlfriend? That is hard to believe." "Well it is true," said Alieta. "So what is going on with my Sally," right now? "You don't have to worry about her," said Fillina. "She just met the most beautiful male elf named Jaydren. Wonderful boy with a heart of gold. I made a small rock appear under her foot which almost made her trip with the water, while walking over to the stables. Jaydren saw her and came to her rescue like I knew he would. They are on their way to town now, both on Sally's horse to try and fine a children's tea set table but they may not find one because there is no call for one here. They would have to go to Cumberland to find kid toys or maybe in the north town where most the human women shop. Just get a fairy to make one for Gabriel's little Precious pets. Sally has been praying for a long time to have her own family so I answered her prayers and many other elves here want the same thing. It took me a lot to get the ball rolling with Aiko. But all is working out perfectly now. I can make a pretty good God too you know." "I have to sit back down," said Katilina. "This is a lot to process." "Well let me help you said," Fillina. "Once King George obtained that staff, that we had nothing to do with. God got very angry with him but he can't interfere with free will but I can. I was going to strike him dead as soon as he began killing elves with it but God said I needed to be smart about what I was to do which if you have talked to God he never comes straight out and tells you what to do. Now once I heard Aiko's prayer to stop her father from killing, it all came to me like a huricane crashing into the coast. I wispered to her in her dream to steal the staff, take her mother's armour and money in her top dresser drawer then head north to the land of magic. Now she was never in any danger with me watching her every step but I made sure King George would be following her trail and you Katilina finaly stood up to him and made him take you with him. Unfortunately some girls got drafted into the small army he put together but I made sure Jaydren got included. He is the smartest of them all and will be very useful here later on. Then I let Alieta take over and do her thing with Aiko and I figured she would come up with a way to get rid of King George the next day. By the way he his in hell now. His soul didn't even raise up an inch to be judged. God just pushed him straight down. So that is where we are at now and the ball is in Katilina's court now. Have you got any questions?" "Um just one. If you are down here doing all this stuff, where is God?" asked Katilina. "He is working on another project far away, it is a big world you know, said Fillina. We meet every night in heaven at tell each other what we did during the day. He is such a sweat heart and always lets me go first. You will meet him soon enough." "I will meet God! What will I say to him?" asked Katilina. "Start with "Hello" that is a good ice breaker," said Fillina. "Okay I am off and going to check on the two love birds. See you two later," then Fillina vanished. "You know Alieta I think I need a drink and not fruit juice," said Katilina. "I got just the thing, said Alieta in my wine cellar." Sally and Jaydren were in town going from store to store looking for a childrens table with not too much luck. "I should of guessed there would be nothing for kids in this part of town, said Sally. No children so why sell things for them." "You mean there are no kids in Fae Land?" asked Jaydren. "Well not elf children," said Sally. "There are lots in the human colony but they all go to Cumberland and the north town to buy most of there stuff. That is too far away to go to right now. Well I might as well go in the grocery store and pick up a few things for home." "They went in the store and began to look around. Jaydren saw the girl behind the counter watching him closely. He looked beside the counter and spotted a small table set. "Sally, look over there, is that what you are looking for?" asked Jaydren. Sally looked and saw the table and chairs then ran over. "This is perfect," said Sally. "Miss is this table for sale?" "It is Mrs. and yes it is," said the lady. "It used to be my daughter's but she is too big for it now." "How much is it?" asked Sally. "Give me an offer, said the lady. "Okay, how about ten dollars no twenty dollars," said Sally. "Twenty is a bit much for it," said the lady. "Don't matter I want it and it looks like new," said Sally. "Okay then, twenty dollars it is then," said the lady. "One problem Sally, said Jaydren. We have one horse and there is a table and four chairs that need to be transported." "Well I can have it delivered for another five dollars," said the lady. "The elven village isn't that far from here." "No it has to be delivered to the palace dining room," said Sally. "Really, I was unaware there were children living in there now," said the lady. "There isn't, this is for two Precious pets that live in the palace now. They are so adorable and funny," said Sally. "They are very polite and never leave anything on their plates." "They can talk? What kind of pets are they?" asked the lady. "I told you, Precious pets," said Sally. "One is a small dragon and the other is a small tiger cub. Gabriel the angel sent them down from heaven I think." The lady turned to Jaydren. "Has she been drinking?" asked the lady. "Nope and if Sally says they came from heaven then that is where they came from," said Jaydren. She is in charge of the kitchen in the palace and I dought they allow drinking this early in the day there. "Hmm, you must be the girl that gives the list of items needed for the kitchen to Ginger," said the Lady. "She says you are the best cook and server they have ever had. In that case, all deliveries to the palace are free anyways, this will be put on the palace account seeing it is for the dining room. It will be there a bit later today." "Perfect, Koko and Trigger are always the first ones down in the morning for breakfast. They will be so surprised and happy to see there own table," said Sally. "Okay lets go, I'll treat you to a milkshake at the Pancake Shop down the street." Then they left. "Now that is one very handsome man she has there. I wonder where he came from, thought the lady. Those two are going to have beautiful babies together." Alieta sent one of the girls from the kitchen down to get one of her bottles of champagne from down in the wine cellar then bring it outside to couch for them along with a couple of glasses. "It is a nice day so lets go outside and enjoy it," said Alieta. "We can watch what everyone is doing out there and you may get to meet some more people here." "Okay, you lead the way," said Katilina. They went out side and got comfortable on the couch then the elf came out with the bottle and glasses. "Where should I put these," asked the elf. Fillina appeared and made a table in front of the couch. "Right there will be fine," said Fillina. The elf smiled then went back in the palace. "Fillina, your back," said Katilina. "Yep, I figured I would join you two for a day cap," said Fillina. "A day cap, what is that?" asked Katilina. "The opposite of a night cap of coarse," said Fillina. "So what do you have there Alieta?" "This is that very good tasting champagne that we got from Granada," said Alieta. "Ginger and I like to have a glass every night before going to bed." "Oh yes from that wine shop there. Big store with hice girls working inside," said Fillina. "The only wine I have drank is God's wine. A bit too dry for my liking." "Well this wine is sweet and bubbly and goes down easy," said Alieta. "Thing is I forgot to ask her to bring the cork screw." "Who needs one," said Fillina then pointed her finger at the bottle and the cork flew up into the air and Katilina caught it. "Good catch girl, said Fillina. Now I need a chair and a glass." She made herself both then sat down. "There so do the honors Alieta seeing it is your champagne." Alieta poured out three glasses and gave them each a glass. Fillina stretched out her legs onto the table. "Okay cheers everyone," said Alieta then they all took a sip. "This is good, said Fillina. "Yes I like it too especially the bubbles," said Katilina. "So Katilina, I realise I threw a lot of stuff at you in the dining room but I was in a hurry to catch up with Sally and Jaydren which by the way actually did find a small table and chairs. Talk about luck," said Fillina. "Well yes I figured you were telling the truth seeing you knew every fact of what happened but, meetng a God, the creator's girl on top of everything just happened today was a bit much all at once." "Yep, hence the wine to let it all sink in," said Alieta. "Yep grapes was one of the first fruits the Fairy Nymphs made once they got it right, God made sure that these plants became available all over the world," said Fillina." "After that he created apple trees himself but we had to move on to bigger things so he let the Fairy Nymphs make new trees and plants for him. Besides the Triffies only had veggies to eat so fruit was a welcomed treat." "What are Triffies?" asked Katilina. "The very first beings God created on earth," said Fillina. "I thought Adam was the first then Eve, said Katilina. That is what the bible says." "Ya I know and writen by humans, How would they know what happened at the begining of life on earth. Humans came much later after many trials and errors. The second part of the bible is more acurate but still hyped up a lot. Take the start of that book. Humans have no clue how the universe was created. It starts off saying God first created light and saw it was good. That is very wrong. First came God then came the vast empty universe. Then he created the first super sun that exploded and sent plasma and magma everywhere. Then he created me to help him reshape the universe and get planets started. Let me tell you the entire universe didn't get created in seven days. More like millions of years and he is still working on it with the overlords. That wine was good, can I have another glass Alieta." "Yep help yourstelf," said Alieta. Ya I need another glass too," said Katilina. "Look girl all this stuff is way above you and all other mortals," said Fillina. "Just believe what you want and know that God loves you and will do his best to make sure good things happen to the deserving. I simplified the events for you that's all and don't ask me what are overloards, that all happened befor her created me." Katilina smiled. "Well what you said sure makes more sense," said Katilina. "Yep I was there and saw it all happen," said Fillina. "Now the key to peace and long life is with elves." "Really, how is that, asked Katilina. "Well you don't know about the other reality where Granada is that Alieta mentioned. There are no elves there and never were, just humans. You have no idea how messed up things got there over and over again for centuries. Humans tend to forget how bad things got in the past after a few generations and make the same mistakes over again. Now when God created this reality with elves in it he gave them long life and much more durable plus smarter than humans. When elves mess up they never forget it and pass that knowledge to their children and they do the same. You will never see armies of elves from one part of the planet trying to take over the world. Elves are family oriented and are content living simpler lives in peace with each other. The mother and father of an elf family will never leave each other and split up the family like humans tend to do." "Hey I was told that elf fathers only stay with the family until the child is old enough to go out on there own then the two go there separate ways, said Alieta. Well here yes because almost every male elf got killed during the great wars until you came along with your winged sprites. What men were left had to move on you keep the DNA pool spread out." "It's true Alieta. Elves where I come from mate for life," said Katilina. "Yep and you watch as elves start making families here in the most magical and safest land anywhere, there is going to be so much love here which keeps the magic strong. "You are one heck of a girl, arn't you and not that scary at all," said Kayilina. "Well at one time I tried to be a bit scary but that didn't work out seeing I am so flipping gorgeous, even with my big black wings showing," said Fillina. "Ask Alieta. she saw them." "Yep not scary at all," said Alieta that was really enjoying the conversation between these two. "You have wings too, what do they look like?" asked Katilina. "Like this," said Fillina. She stood up and made her wings appear. "They are black angel wings," said Katilina. "Very beautiful too, you can't scare anyone with angel wings." "Ya I kinda figured that out when I came here," said Fillina. "Well I have to go, I hear God calling for me. He must need some help with something," said Fillina. "Thanks for the wine Alieta and remember Katilina, elves are the key. Your elves back home are already re-adjusting with King George not there." Then Fillina vanished. "What did she mean by re-adjusting?" asked Katilina. "Not sure, she talks like God sometimes," said Alieta. "Says little making you figure it out." "Well she sure said a lot today so far," said Katilina. "Ya she does have the gift of gab but it very interesting to listen to," said Alieta. "Come with me back into the palace, "I have an idea that I think you will like." "Really like what?" asked Katilina. "A new look, those clothes make you look like a warrior. You need to look like a good queen now and I have the perfect outfit for you. Put down your glass, this won't take long." They both headed back into the palace and met Safire coming out. "Safire could you please do us a favor and make sure no one drinks all our wine outside?" asked Alieta. "Guard the wine, got it Alieta, said Safire. "I will guard it with my life," then went outside. "What a nut, see she is, not scary at all," said Alieta. "Nope and sure doesn't act like a queen," said Katilina. "Well only when she needs to," said Alieta. Alieta took Katilina to her room and opened her closet. Now this is what a queen's room should look like," said Katilina. "I am going burn the bed in my room and buy all new stuff." Alieta smiled then pulled out a dark red outfit. "Now put this on," said Alieta. "This was given to me by a nobleman years ago. I like the style but red isn't my colour." Katilina changed into the new outfit then looked at herself in the mirror. "Wow I look great in this," said Kayilina. So you like it then, said Alieta. "Very much, now all I have to do is somethimg with my hair," said Katilina. "Well we can work on that later but now go back out and make sure Safire hasn't drank all the wine," said Alieta. "I need to use the washroom then I will get another bottle out of the kitchen's ice box. Champagne tastes best cold." Katilina went back outside and found Safire on the couch and Ivy sitting on the chair. "Hi Katilina, no one touched the wine," said Safire. "Ivy wanted to but I told her I had to guard it. She has just been sitting there staring at that bottle. Nice threads by the way." Katilina picked up her glass then looked at Ivy. "Are you okay Ivy?" "Yep, I am just trying to bring that bottle closer to me with my brain like Repellia can," said Ivy. "It's not working though." Katilina laughed. "I have never met three queens before like I have here. So relaxed and laid back." "Well there was a time when we all had to be serious but not anymore," said Safire. "Now we can relax and have fun for a change and not have to worry about being attacked by anything." "That gives me a great idea," said Ivy. "What?" asked Katilina. "A little party," said Ivy. Alieta came around the corner with the new bottle of champagne. "Did I hear someone say party?" asked Alieta. "Yep Ivy said it not me," said Safire. "I am just the guard." Alieta giggled. "So what about this party Ivy?" asked Alieta. "Lets all go to my place and have a party of then four Queens," said Ivy. "I can put down my big beach blanket and we can sit and relax on the ground outside. "Viridian can bring us snacks and stuff. "Do you think Viridian would mind us all making her work making snacks?" asked Alieta. "Of coarse not, Viridian loves company and hosting four Queens will be even better. She won't really be hosting but she will definately want to bring out snacks for us espesially id Ktara is there too, you know what Ktara is like." "Ya that is an awesome idea," said Safire. "We can all tell some of our stories to Katilina so she gets to know us better. Ya and she can tell us all about this Prince Charles that she is planning on having children with," said Alieta. "Drink up Katilina and hand me that cork. I'll get an elf to bag this stuff up and get another glass and bottle." Alieta walked over to where Ginger was talking to Tiffany and Sabrina. "Ginger, can you get an elf to do me a favor? asked Alieta. It's not a normal request." "Sure what is it?" asked Ginger. "Well the four of us are going to Ivy's place to have a little party among us four queens," said Alieta. "This was Ivy's idea and a good one seeing we can tell Katilina some stories about Fae Land and we can find out more about her." "Okay sounds like a good idea, said Ginger. What do you need done?" "Well take this bottle and get a another cold one from the ice box in the fridge and replace it with that part full bottle on the table over there," said Alieta. "Have them put in a bag along with four clean glasses then have them delivered to Ivy's place." We are going enjoy the day on her front yard. We are just going to walk there seeing it is not far." "Okay I can get Penny to take care of that for you," said Ginger. "Now make sure Tulip and Lilly give our elven guests a big feast so they will get nice and sleepy after supper," said Alieta. "They just ate not long ago so they won't need any lunch I think. Make sure they have plenty of water too." "Okay consider it done," said Ginger. "One more thing. No one will be leaving here today so have Tulip and Lilly make tents for them, ten or twelve should be enough," said Alieta. "Well you have thought of everything," said Ginger. "When will you be back? "We will eat at Ivy's place I am sure Ktara will hear us and come over too and you know what she is like, Ivy thinks she may be there already," said Alieta. "Yep, no one will go hungry that is for sure. Anything else?" asked Ginger. "Yes, you are in charge while I am away," said Alieta. Ginger smiled then called over Penny. "Okay everything is all set, said Alieta. Lets head out to Ivy's place." "We are walking there?" asked Katilina. "Yes it is not far, just on the other side of Sandy Lake. Leave your cape here too, it is too hot today for that." Penny started cleaning off the table with Ginger as they walked away. "So a party for four Queens, said Penny. Nice to see Alieta having some fun again. Yes she is letting her hair down today," said Ginger. "Katilina should let her hair down litterly," said Penny. All her hair up like that with a silly bows really don't suit her." "To each their own," said Ginger. The four of them rounded the corner of Sandy Lake then they had to stop to let Katilina have a good look at the lake and the waterfall. "This is beautiful, said Katilina. Nothing like this back home." "I come here a lot and go swimming, said Ivy. The water is always at the perfect temperture." It does look very peaceful here," said Katilina. "Okay just a bit further around the corner and we are at my place," said Ivy. "I will fly ahead and get my blanket and tell Viridian that you are coming." Then Ivy flew off. "Now once we get there we will be at the south east corner of Eden, said Alieta. Eden is where most of Fae Land's magic comes from. The magic there is much stronger than at the palace so you will feel the magic all around you." Yep and the magic of that wine will be nice too, said Safire. In a couple minutes they reached Ivy's front yard where Ivy had the blanket spread out already. "Come and sit everyone," said Ivy. Viridian came out and said hello to everyone. "It is so nice to have company here," said Viridian. "Four queens at once too! Now Ivy told me not to go nuts making food, just tasty snacks that would go good with wine. So what is the occasion?" "Well we want to tell Katilina some things about Fae Land and find out more about her," said Alieta. "She is the queen of Triland further south from here." "Yes Ivy told me that," said Viridian. "Triland sounds familar to me though. Can't quite remember right now though. Well Ivy put the wine in the ice box when it gets here, I am going next door to get Ktara to help me whip up some snacks for everyone. She will know better than me as to what to make that goes with wine." They all sat down just as Penny came around the corner on her horse. Ivy walked over to her and took the bag from her then brought it in the house. "Okay everyone have fun," said Penny. "I have to go get fresh water for our elf guests." Then she rode off. "Doesn't that sound familar to you Alieta," said Katilina. "What is familar?" asked Alieta. "Well a very pretty elf is going to be walking over to pick up a water jug with a bunch of handsome male elves watching her," said Katilina. I wonder how many elves will be coming back home with me?" "Well none today," said Alieta. "I'm getting tents made for them so they can sleep over night and you are staying in the palace tonight." "Oh good, I really didn't feel like leaving today," said Katilina. Ivy came out of the house with a bottle of champagne under her arm, two glasses in each hand and a cork screw sticking out of her mouth. "Hey Ivy, you look a little screwed up there," said Safire. Ivy spit out the cork screw at Safire. "Very funny Safire. Now you get to open the bottle." Penny got back to the palace grounds then went to the stable to drop off her horse. She came out and walked over to where the jug of water was and saw there was very little left in it. "Well this needs to be filled up," she thought. She then noticed a lone tree that she was certain wasn't there before. She picked up the jug then start to walk towards the tree. "Hey Miss, where are you going?" said someone behind her. She turned around and saw a very handsome elf walking towards her. "Hello there, I am just going to refill this jug but noticed this tree," said Penny. "I am sure it wasn't here yesterday. Did you want some water now? It is warm though." "No I am fine for now but you are right about that tree," said the elf. "It wasn't there when we first got here but I noticed it when Jaydren walked over to it with a pretty elf. After they took off on a horse I went and checked it out. I felt a leaf and it was real enough then scraped the bark with my thumb nail and smelt it. It's an apple tree." "Really, we have apple trees in our orchard but how the heck did this one get way out here I wonder," said Penny. "Must of been magic," said the elf. "We were told this is a land of magic. Maybe one of thoses fairies made it." "No fairies can't make anything living including plant life," said Penny. "They can seed the ground then make things grow fast but not this fast. Maybe Fillina made it for some reason. Anyways I need to fill this back up. Nice meeting you." Then Penny started to walk towards the palace, realizing she just walked away from the best looking man she had every seen." "Wait," said the elf and ran up to her. Penny turned around. "You haven't told me your name," said the elf. "Mine is Josh." Penny smiled. "Well Josh, my name is Penny." "That is a very pretty name," said Josh. "Can I ask you a favor without being too forward?" "Sure ask away," said Penny. "It is really boring here with these elves," said Josh. "We all grew up together and didn't really want to join this army but we had no choice. Except for the girls, they are nuts. Can I hang out with you for a while? I don't get to be with such a pretty girl too often. Actually never." Penny was about to say that she was working and couldn't but stopped herself. "Yes you can Josh. I am working right now but you can keep me company." "Your working, what do you do?" asked Josh. "Well I am Ginger's number one elf and do odds and ends around the palace for her," said Penny. "Who is Ginger?" asked Josh. "She is in charge of the palace and lots of other things here," said Penny. "Oh so she is like the general and you are her captain," said Josh. "Sort of but there is no fighting going on," said Penny. "Come, filling this jug was one of the things she asked me to do."
