Twins At The Palace 

  Ivy caught up to the sisters and asked if she could walk with them. I hate cleaning up, said Ivy. Okay, said Phonixa. You two are really nice and I like you both, said Ivy. Well we like you too Ivy. So you can tell what people are feeling and stuff, said Repellia. Can you read minds also? Well only if Alieta or Alexa tells me too and it is important. But I don't do it otherwise plus it is none of my business once I know you are okay. You are pretty smart and nice, said Phonixa. Maybe but I am still young and have a lot to learn yet, said Ivy. So how old are you? asked Phonixa. Seventeen but I feel older because of what all happened after my parents died and I went out on my own, said Ivy. Ya we are young too which is really cool, except for the adolecent part, said Phonixa. What is that, asked Ivy. You don't know? asked Repellia. Nope, is it something bad? asked Ivy. Not bad just confusing but very natural, said Phonixa. Every human has to go through it. It starts when you go from hating boys to likeing them plus your body starts to change and you begin to look very attractive. Oh, I never hated boys, said Ivy. I have always like all my friends back in my old woods. Not many boy sprites in Fae Land though. I saw my self in a mirror for the first time when I was living in the palace and I looked pretty good I thought and every one says I am pretty so maybe I am going through adolesence too. The two sisters laughed. Yes Ivy you are very attactive and your green hair is lovely too. How often do you have to dye it, asked Phonixa. Oh I don't, this is my natural colour. I am a forest sprite, said Ivy. My green nails are natural too and I never have to paint them. Our hair is natually brown but kind of messy and tangled right now plus we have to paint our nails, said Repellia. That can be fun too, said Ivy but I love green so I don't bother. You two still have a little secret each too but they are personal so I didn't tell anyone about them. You can tell that? asked Phonixa. Yep I know it, said Ivy. Prove it then, said Phonixa. Okay, I never lie you know, said Ivy. You Phonixa can make things disappear for a little while like an hour at most but you can't make it reappear. Now you Repellia can do the opposite. You can make what every your sister made disappear, reappear. You two seemed to be attached somehow. Amazing, you are absolutely correct, said Phonixa. Don't worry I will never tell anyone, said Ivy. That is something between sisters only. And you too now Ivy, said Repella. Ivy smiled. So you lived in the palace for a while you said? asked Phonixa. Yep I did, said Ivy. With Viridian as roommates. So what is it like there, asked Repellia. It is like living in the most magical place in Fae Land with wonderful elves helping you to be comfortable and Alieta has lots of ice cream and milkshakes, said Ivy. I take it you love ice cream then, said Repella. Yep, especially chocolate ice cream. I makes my wings work better, sweet stuff powers a sprites wings just like a pixies, said Ivy. So you can't go a long time without sweets then? asked Phonixa. No but I can make do with nectar but it is not as strong and I cannot fly that far or fast but I am fully charged now want to see! Ivy flew up high in the sky then came down doing loop de loops that she loves to do and then landed beside them again. See lots of power now, said Ivy. Wow, are you ever fast and that was fun to watch, said Phonixa. Ya but pixies are faster flyers but that is okay, they are all my friends. Okay there is the palace so I promissed I would go back home when I reached it with you two, so good night and off Ivy flew. The elf came over to them and said she was asked to show you to Alieta. Ivy is so remarkable and honest plus very funny, said Phonixa. Yep that is our Ivy, said the elf. Everyone in Fae Land that has met Ivy loves her. Okay follow me please.

The elf took Phonixa and Repella to the living room where Alieta was waiting for them alone. Well there you two are. Did you have a nice walk here, asked Alieta. It was amazing, said Phonixa. Ivy came and walked with us here and she was so funny and showed us a flying trick like plus she told us she was still a teengaer and stuff. Alieta smiled. Yes she is very friendly with those she likes, which is about everyone here, said Alieta. She helps me out a lot when I need to judge new people like you two. So you are judging us? the two sisters asked. No not exactly, maybe judging is the wrong word to use, said Alieta. Lets just say if Ivy likes you and says you are okay then I feel good about you. Though I do have to be sure and ask some of my own questions. Oh okay, said Repella. Now you don't have to tell me your real names seeing that Ivy said you two were not using your real given names, said Alieta. The sisters smiled. The names or parents gave us were stupid and very similar sounding, said Phonixa. That just made it even harder for people to talk to us. I see, well that makes sense then, said Alieta. Now I invited you here because I figured you had no where else to go tonight. Is that true? asked Alieta. Well yes it is but we will leave if you want us too, said Repella, we are used to sleeping under the stars. Alieta could see the two of them really didn't want to leave. No you will go nowhere tonight. You can both sleep tonight in Viridian's and Ivy's old room, said Alieta. It has two beds in it and a mirror so you can see yourself in it when you put on the night clothes that I had an elf leave you on the beds. Ivy told us about the mirror. She said it was the first time she saw herself and she found that she looked pretty good, said Repellia. Oh really, she never told me that before. She is very pretty isn't she, said Alieta. Most sprites are pretty but sprites are the prettiest of all the breeds of sprites. Now put your swords down beside the couch and have a seat then tell me a little about your past and I will promise not to tell anyone else about it. Well we did tell you a little about our parents, said Phonixa. They were okay at first but as we got older they found out we had the magic that made them mad and considered us to be witches or evil demons they made us leave with next to nothing. Luckly we had gold coins from doing chores for people around town that we didn't tell them about, said Phonixa. That is how we got these enchanted ouftites and the swords. The swords are just normal though. So you two were sent out on your own with no sword either? asked Alieta. Yep, no food or extra clothing either, said Repellia. They said we were lucky they din't burn us on the stake. If I saw them I would ring their necks, said Alieta. Take Tempressa, the scary one but has a nice smile. Ya we remember her, she was scary at first but she has a very friendly smile, said Phonixa. Well Tempressa and her sister were born a year apart and their parents could tell they were different from the start, said Alieta. As they got older they found out that the two sisters could freeze things by just pointing at them. Now they just asked them not to tell anyone and especially never ever hurt anyone. When they were old enough they moved out and got their own place. So Tempressa can freeze things, asked Repellia. Oh yes and she is also known as the Ice Queen. Wow!, said Phonixa. So go on with your story please, said Alieta.

Well after we got the outfits and swords we had to learn how to use a sword fast, said Phonixa. We needed to eat so we would try and chase silly rabits around to have them and cook them. Do you know how hard it is to catch a rabit? Well we got lucky sort of after the third day with out food. A forest wolf ran out after Phonixa and jumped up at her and made her fall on her back but out of impulse I used my repel talent and the wolf missed her so jumped on it and killed it with my sword. We both stared at it as it laid there dead which was kinda sad to see but better it that Phonixa I figured. That was when we had to learn how to skin and cut up a wolf that was really gross to us. We had never really cooked before but saw how our father cook a boar and used to do it over a camp fire and used a stick and shoved it through the boar then had two other strong sticks to hold it up. After that we started to hunt better and eventually we became good at it. Now we went through a town and met a girl that took us in for a night because we really needed to get cleaned up. She was very quiet and didn't talk much so we thought she was the private type. I showed her that I could light her wood stove for her and she asked me if I was from Fae Land. We never heard of the place before but she told us it was a place of magic and riches. The next day she told us how to get to Fae Land so we set out to find Fae Land on foot. So you never had a horse either? asked Alieta. Nope we walked everywhere, said Phonixa. After about four days we enter the woods and could feel the sensation of magic. When I put out my hand to hold fire it was bigger than normal. We walked through the woods that was a bit creepy because it seemed like we were being watched then saw this big building with a girl standing outside. That is when we met that pretty elf. You mean when you tried to rob her, said Alieta. Well ya but it was ovious she had no money on her by how tight she wore her shorts but we were desparate. Once that sprite came down from above were got the heck out of there fast and hid in the woods. We were getting very hungry now so we just gave up and went back to the palace but this time we were polite and didn't threaten anyone. A nice elf came up to us and asked if she could help us. I asked if the queen was around and she said you were at a party and told us how to get there. You have no idea how nervous we were when we saw everyone all dancing and stuff plus two big wolves and centaurs. We were going to turn around and go back but then you came towards us, then Ivy. Ivy made us feel better somehow. She just smiled a lot and said we were okay. Now you know the rest. Phonixa sighed and took a big breath.

 Alieta stayed quiet for a minuite as she though to herself. The two sisters were getting nevous, Alieta could tell. Well, Alieta started. There is no way that you could of made that story up. It falls in line with everything that I witnessed and what Ginger told me. You two girls have gone through and endurred more than any two girls should every of had to do and none of it was any of your fault. You made it here and not just because of the sense of magic but a higher power was probably at work here. Your courage to beat all odds is outstanding. Now I want you two to follow this elf to the room you will be staying in tonight and get ready for bed. Is there a place where we can get cleaned up and wash our hair first? asked Repellia. We haven't washed for a while and must look terrible. Yes there is a bathroom in that room you can use, said Alieta. Repellia and Phonixa got up and followed the elf out of the room. Alieta noticed that they left there swords on the floor beside the couch. They won't be needing them anymore said Gabriel that appeared behind Alieta. Hi Gabriel, did you hear the story Phonixa told me? asked Alieta. Yes I did and every word was the truth, said Gabriel. Now the problem right now is they have been living with broken hearts for a long time. The only love they have experienced in quite some time is the love for each other. God told me I could watch but as usual I could not interfere. The wolf, that was him I think but you never know. The kindness of the girl in that town was me though. I just had to steer them in the right direction. They are enhanced high breed human twins and belong here in Fae Land. They will never be any good on Alexa's team but they will definately keep you company and on your toes. Why is that? asked Alieta. They are just eighteen and going though adolesence just like Ivy, said Gabriel. These two will not be leaving the palace anytime soon so enjoy their youthful spirits. Really, they are just eighteen? They look a lot older, said Alieta. Wait until you see them once they are all cleaned up and in normal clothes. Probably in the morning at breakfast, said Gabriel. That is when you can invite them to live in the palace. Keep in mind these girls are used to working and won't need to be asked or put on Ginger's crew to help out here. As for those two parrents, once the town's people found out what they did to the twins that everyone loved, they have been shunned, meaning no one will even look at them and we will make sure they never see there two daughters again or have any future kids. Okay Alieta, have fun Mom! Then Gabriel vanished. Mom? Oh boy, I better read up on girls going through adolesence in the library, thought Alieta.

The elf showed Repellia and Phonixa the room where Ivy and Viridian used to stay in. They were both amazed at the size of the room and how clean it was. Now take turns in the bathroom getting cleaned up and I will get some night clothes for you two to wear, said the elf. Then she left them alone. Everyone is being so nice to use, said Phonixa and to think we started out as tring to rob someone here. Ya so we better be extra good if we want to stay for any length of time, said Repellia. We can do that, said Phonixa. Okay lets get clean and I am dying to wash my hair, it is driving me crazy, said Repellia. Mine too, we must look like witches, said Phonixa. After they were both finished washing they both dried their hair and took turns brushing it dry. The elf came back in holding two nighties. Wow you too clean up really good, said the Elf. Who wants the red nighie and who wants the blue one? I'll take the red one please, said Phonixa. Ya she love red clothes, said Repellia. I like all colours but blue is my favorite. Okay then, you two have a good sleep and in the morning you will find clothes for you to put on outside of the door in the hall then an elf will show you to the dining room to have breakfast, said the elf, then she left. They quickly threw off their towels and put on the nighties. How do I look? asked Phonixa. Just like me, said Repellia. They both giggled and hugged then jumped into bed.
