Back At The Palace

 Once they all reached the palace in the morning, one of the elves saw them coming towards the palace and she just turned around yelling "THEIR BACK, THEIR BACK"! Out came Alieta with a huge smile on her face and asked them all to come inside. Paisley was amazed at how big and beautiful the place was plus she had never seen Alieta just heard stories about her. When inside, Titus approached Alieta and gave her the compass back. I won't be needing this anymore, said Titus. It won't open anymore for me anyways. Yes, once the person holding the compass has found their true love then it shuts tight and must be returned to the Fae Chest, said Alieta. Is the Fae Chest real? asked Paisley. I only thought it was a myth. Oh it is real enough alright, said Alieta. She asked one of the elves to bring the Fae Chest over for her. It just looks like a regular old chest, said Paisley. Well it is old but far from regular, said Alieta. She opened the chest and put the put the compass back inside the chest then it shut by itself. There back home where it belongs until the next time, said Alieta.

So you must be Titus's true love, said Alieta. My you are a beautiful young woman, what is your name? Um, my name is Paisley, Queen Alieta. I am sorry but I am a bit nervous, I have never met a queen before and you are a very well known queen, said Paisley. Well just call me Alieta dear, there is no need to be nervous around me. We are all family here in Fae Land. So would you like to try out the Fae Chest and see what it gives you? When you open the lid it will give you what you need the most. Really how does it know what I need and how does it do that? asked Paisley. With magic of course, that is how Titus got the compus, said Alieta. Okay, I will try, said Paisley. She knelt down on the floor and opened the lid and found a small box inside. She picked it up and opened it and found two rings inside it, very similar to Oaklyn's and Taiyo's. Two gold rings, it gave me, said Paisley. Those are rings of love and prosperity, said Alieta. Very rarely the chest gives them out. Only special souls receive rings like them, just like Taiyo and Oaklyn. Put the smaller one on your finger then put the bigger one on Titus's finger. The two rings will make sure that you both prosper and will love each other with all your hearts until the day you die. Paisley put on her ring then went to Titus and put the bigger ring on his finger. Then they kissed. Diego turned to Alexa and asked if she was going to start crying again. Alexa turned and kicked him in the shin. He yelled "OUCH!" and every one turned to see what happened. You see having body armour on has its uses, said Alexa. Every one smiled and then Alieta turned to Alexa and said I see that you found my friend Diego, or did he find you? It was kind of a mutual meeting in the dark of night, said Alexa.

Now it is your turn to see what the Fae Chest has for you Diego, said Alieta. He bent down and opened the chest and reached inside and pulled out a beautiful gold laced bow that was even lighter then the one he had plus a sash of arrows. Once again the Fae chest closed by itself. That sash of arrows and bow has special qualities that will send an arrow off faster than any other bow and the sash of arrows will never go empty so you will not ever have to make your own arrows again, said Alieta. Diego put out his hand to to thank her but she just grabbed it and pulled him in and gave him a big hug then whispered in his ear, thank you for going and helping my very good friends. He whispered back, your welcome, I needed a change anyways. Now that all is done here you all go upstairs and get cleaned up and I will have some elves bring you some nice clothes to wear and they will take your armor and clothing and have it cleaned and polished, said Alieta. Then come back down to the dining room and we will eat while you tell me all about your adventure. When they were all cleaned up and dressed they went downstairs to the dining room and saw Alieta at the head of the table as usual and a huge spread of food on the table. As they ate Alexa and the others told her all about the entire trip and how they defeated all of Hanable The Horrible's bodyguards. Then how he ran back inside cowering and locked the door behind him that was no match for Taiyo and Oaklyn. Alexa started to laugh and Alieta asked what is so funny? She told her how Diego renamed Hanable The Horrible to Hanable The Chicken. They all laughed and continued to eat. It was Alexa that killed most of the guards in record time, I was astonished at how fast she could move and how good she was with a sword, said Diego. She seems to have a thing for cutting off heads. Alieta smiled and thought to herself, this looks like another match made in heaven.

After all the stories were done and they had finished eating Alieta told them to spend the night and get some sleep before you set out home in the morning. After a good night sleep they all found their armor and clothes beside their beds. They all got dressed and headed down stairs and had a quick breakfast and were ready to leave when Alieta asked Tempressa if she was going back to her Ice Palace. No I don't think so, said Tempressa.. I have friends here now plus it is really cold in that palace. I prefere where I am at now. Maybe a couple of polar bears will take it over and raise a family. Alieta smiled and said good choice plus you never know when your services may be needed again and you can be the Ice Queen anywhere. Yes that is true plus the food here is much better, said Tempressa. Everyone laughed again then got ready for the trip ahead. They all said their goodbyes then Titus told Paisley to jump up on his horse behind him and she did the same as before, took one leap and landed right behind him. He turned to her and said you gotta lot love a woman that can jump like that, hang on tight. Alexa asked Diego to jump on her horse but he said, "Okay but don't expect me to do what Paisley just did". Off they went and headed back home and figured they could take their time because all was done and they were in no hurry.
