The Trip Home

On the way back they were just having idle conversations and talking about what they planned on doing when they got back home. Alexa wondered to herself where Diego was going to stay and as if he read her mind he said, I think I will find a nice little place in town. Is there anything available close to you? We will have a look around tomorrow but in the meantime you can stay with me but you will have to sleep on the couch, said Alexa. Okay sounds like a good plan, said Diego. When they were about half way home those two same trolls jumped out and told them they have to pay a toll to continue. They couldn't see the Ice Queen because she was behind Oaklyn and Taiyo. What are you two doing in Fae Land? asked Alexa. The desert wasn't a nice place to live and we heard about this place that had lots of people with money, said the male Troll. So each of you give us two dollars and you can continue. You can't charge us money here in our own land, said Alexa. Sure we can, that is what trolls do, said the female troll. Alexa was about to dismount when all of a sudden Paisley said, "I will take care of this". Everyone wondered what she was going to do but Titus had a good idea what she was up to. Paisley walked towards the trolls and they wondered what such a petite pretty girl was going to do. Paisley then took three steps and drop kicked both of them in the head, knocking them both out. Well that takes care of that, no one is ever taking my money again, said Paisley. Everyone was astonished and Alexa said to her, "Girl you have talents where did you learn to kick like that?" I took self defence lessons when I was in school plus did gymnastics, just incase I ever needed to defend myself, said Paisley. She then jumped back up on the horse behind Titus and they were back on their way.

Soon they were back in town and they all said their goodbyes and promised to stay in touch. Taiyo, Oaklyn and Ktara went back to their homes in Eden and Tempressa headed back to the Ice Palace to shut it down and hide it. Titus and Paisley headed out to his place for some quality time. On the way to Alexa's place Diego asked her if she planned on going back to her lookout spot. How did you know I was up their watching over the land? asked Alexa. Well to be honest, Alieta told me but do you really think you need to? asked Diego. It is very safe in this Land Of Fae and if anything ever arose I am sure we all could take care of it. Yes you are right and I am tired of being alone up there plus it can get pretty windy too, said Alexa. Let's get to my place and relax for a bit and I will make us something to eat. Sometime next week we can go to Ktara's place because she promised that I could use her big kitchen and prepare a meal for her. Sounds like a plan, said Diego. You know you are very good at making plans, said Diego. Alexa just smiled and put her hand on his face and said "You have seen nothing yet".
