"Yes, I'll take two large tubs of chocolate ice cream and two large tubs of strawberry." "My you must like ice cream," said Krissy. "Well Kendra lives with us too and she is a forest sprite, they love ice cream," said Mirela. "Okay, I know Ivy, she comes in the Pancake House all the time. My Dad owns that eatery. Now can I interest you in these ice cream sandwiches. They come four in a package." "Sure give me two packages of them also, said Mirela. That chocolate cake also please. That will be it for today." Can I have another ice cream cone please?" asked Quinn. "You ate that entire cone already?" asked Mirela. "Yep, it was really good." "You should be full by now," said Mirela. "I will be after one more but that one with all the different colours looks good," said Quinn. "Okay but that is all for a while," said Mirela. "Okay just give me a minute, said Krissy. I am hoping that cone is going to be a popular seller. It can come with a reusable cone. Just wash it and save it for later. It's made of plastic. Here you go Quinn, enjoy." "Thank you Krissy and Mirela," said Quinn then began to lick the ice cream. "My that is a long tongue you have for such a small person," said Krissy. "Yep, good for licking sugar cane. Kenda's tongue is way longer than mine though," said Quinn. "Okay let's go back home now," said Mirela. "Thank you and come back again," said Krissy. "Oh I will be back, you can bet on that," said Mirela.

Ktara rode up to the radio station and found Tiffany just opening the door. "Hey Tiffany, wait a minute," yelled Ktara. "Okay, what's up?" asked Tiffany. "Our new store is having a grand opening today so I need you to read this ad that I made over the air several times today." said Ktara. "Okay but I didn't know you had a store," said Tiffany. "Well we have been keeping it a secret from everyone, said Ktara. Krissy and I are partners in the new sweets store in the West Town. The windows were all covered so no one could see in while the men were working inside." "So who is Krissy?" asked Tiffany. "She is the daughter of the Pancake House's owner, said Ktara. She always wanted to have an ice cream shop and I always wanted to have a sweets and pastry store. I have been baking every day now making cakes and cookies from home but now that the kitchen is all done now, I can do my baking there." "That is very exciting, said Tiffany. What are you calling the store?" "Ice Cream Dreamland, said Ktara. Everything is written in that ad. It tells what we sell there and other things we are doing for the grand opening. Here is the money to pay for the ad." "You are paying me to read this on the radio?" asked Tiffany. "Well paying the radio station, said Ktara. I can't expect you to do this for free when we are going to make lots of money from it." "But this is a hundred dollars, that is a lot of money for just words," said Tiffany. "Well we will make a lot more than that, said Ktara. Maybe do it both today and Sunday if you think it is too much. Record it so you don't have to keep reading it all the time." "Do you want to make the recording?" asked Tiffany. "No, you have a very nice radio voice. You do it for me please," said Ktara. "Okay I'll see what I can do, said Tiffany. I have to get in there now, it is almost nine o'clock." "Okay, come by after work and I will give you a free ice cream cone," said Ktara.

Tiffany got everything ready inside and had two records cued up. She did her good morning intro and then started the first song. Okay let me read this through first, thought Tiffany. "Wow, this is really cool. I am definitely going there after my shift," said Tiffany. She read it into the microphone while recording it onto the laptop. "Okay, let's hear what that sounds like." She played it back but figured something was missing. "It needs some background music maybe." She started the next song on the turntable then searched for music about ice cream. A picture of an ice cream truck appeared on the screen. "Cool I wonder how that works keeping the ice cream from melting." She saw two buttons that said play jingle and download jingle. She played it first and heard that it would be perfect in the background. She downloaded it first then turned the volume down on the jingle then merged it with her voice recording. "Okay, let's hear what that sounds like now." She listened to he new avert. Now that is so much better. Okay, time to play it so everyone with their radios on will hear it." The ad read as follows. "Today is the grand opening of the Ice Cream Dreamland store which is located in the West Town. The store is owned and operated by Krissy, the daughter of the Pancake House owner and Ktara who lives in Eden. There is a wide variety of cakes and pastries plus candies and bubble gum. Sure is making me want to go there now," said Tiffany.

While Quinn and Mirela were on their way back to the village, Mirela thought she saw something move in the woods. "Did you see that? asked Mirela. Behind those trees, looked like something was watching us." "Probably just some pixies or monkeys," said Quinn. No this was much bigger than a pixie or a monkey and it looked like it had big wings," said Mirela. "Really, probably just your imagination," said Quinn. "It was not my imagination, said Mirela. You are hiding something from me, I can tell," said Mirela. "How can you tell, you can't read people," said Quinn. "I know because you would have flown over there to see who it was but you didn't even look where I was pointing," said Mirela. "Okay seeing you bought lots of ice cream, it was probably Lily," said Quinn. "Who is Lily?" asked Mirela. "A very old friend of Pippa and mine. She is cool and won't hurt anyone," said Quinn. "If she is your friend then why doesn't she come out here and say hi to you?" asked Mirela. "Because of you, she is very shy and timid around new people. That is why she stays well hidden deep in the woods," said Quinn. "Well, she wasn't that deep in the woods just a minute ago," said Mirela. "Ya, she is also very curious too. Shy yet curious, kind of funny don't you think," said Quinn. Do you want to meet her, she is really nice and can be very funny too. She saw you with me so she won't be that scared to meet you, just don't make any sudden moves around her." "I would but is she very far away from here now?" asked Mirela. "Well if we go between those big trees over there then I can take you to a secret path that leads to her place," said Quinn. "Secret, aren't these woods full of pixies?" asked Mirela. "Not too much around here, said Quinn. Pixies don't understand her and think she is a crazy fairy so they stay away from her. She is not crazy at all though, said Quinn, she is very smart and a different kind of fairy than the ones that you have seen. She is a Flower Fairy. Come follow me." Then Quinn flew into the woods. Mirela was now wondering what a Flower Fairy looked like so she followed Quinn into the woods. In a few minutes they came to a bit of an opening. "Okay you have to leave the horse here now, said Quinn. The path gets very narrow down there and uneven. Once we get to the end of the path I will call for Lily. She will open the trees enough for us to get through. There is no other way into where she lives." "Okay, I have gone this far, might as well go the rest of the way," said Mirela. "She is worth the work getting to see her and her home, said Quinn. You will see."

They walked along the path for a few minutes then Quinn stopped. "Here is the narrow spot so you have to squeeze between those big rocks. I can fly over them, said Quinn with a smile. After that, we will be almost there in another open area." "Boy she must really want to keep people out, I barely fit through here, said Mirela. Ouch! What happened?" asked Quinn. "I think I scraped my thigh," said Mirela. "Well don't worry about that now, said Quinn, you are almost through." Mirela finally squeezed through the rocks then looked at her leg and saw there was a big scape on her leg. "Okay, now where?" asked Mirela. "Well now I call for Lily, said Quinn. Lily Fae I know you are watching us. Come and meet my friend Mirela. She is a very nice person," said Quinn loudly. Mirela felt something pass by her fast then Lily appeared in front of both of them. "Quinn, Quinn, Quinn, I missed you so much, where have you been for the last three days, my little green-haired pixie." "Been a bit busy, that's all, said Quinn. Mirela saw you watching us from the woods and had to find out who it was." "Well now you know, I am Lily Fae the Flower Fairy. Such beautiful vibrant red hair you have. Oh, you have a boo-boo on your leg, let me fix that for you." Lily blinked her eyes and the scape instantly healed. "Wow, that was amazing," said Mirela. "No Quinn is amazing, I am a Flower Fairy. Oh, you are a real Gypsy Queen. I love Gypsy Queens, they are so nice and helpful to people. So where is your friend Kendra, that you promised to bring her here for me to meet. I have never met a Forest Sprite." "Like I said I have been a bit busy. Can we go to your place and talk there please?" asked Quinn. "Okay, so long as Mirela promises never to tell anyone how to find me," said Lily. "I promise," said Mirela. "Okay then, trees open please," said Lily, then the trees parted wide. "There. I will make us some sugar iced tea then we can talk inside, said Lily. Follow me Mirela with the vibrant red hair."

They walked through the trees then up a hill, and then Quinn told Mirela to prepare herself for the most amazing fairy home she had ever seen. "I haven't seen a fairy home before," said Mirela. "Then it will be the most amazing right," said Quinn. Once they reached the top of the hill, all that could be seen were old trees, lots of big rocks and bushes. "Now no one can see my haven until I let them, said Lily. My magic pond makes it so that it can't even be seen from above. Lily waved her hand then an amazing fairy haven appeared before their eyes. "Wow, it is so beautiful, said Mirela. You made all of this?" "Yep but not all at once, said Lily. I made my house first then the pond. I do a little bit here and a little bit there over time. When I get bored I make some more trees or plants." "I thought fairies couldn't make living things like trees and plants," said Mirela. Well, some may not be able to but I can control the magic all around me too. I have never met another fairy, they must stay hidden like me. I can make whatever I want, where ever I want," said Lily. "Like I said, Lily is a different kind of fairy, said Quinn. I will explain it to you later." "Can the house and garden be seen from above now that we can see it?" asked Mirela. "Nope, only those I allow to see my haven can, said Lily. Even if someone were to stumble in here by accident all they would see is what you first saw. Even Quinn and Pippa can't see my haven until I let them." "So if I were to come back here to talk to you and you were not here, I wouldn't see all of this?" asked Mirela. "That is correct," said Lily. "Wow, you really make sure you are protected and hidden," said Mirela. "I have to plus I sleep peacefully at night knowing no one can sneak up and scare me while I sleep, said Lily. So follow me down the hill and let's go in my house for some sugar iced tea and talk some more," said Lily. I have never had company before. Hey what do you call me and Pippa?" asked Quinn. You two are family not company, said Lily.

They all walked down the hill and then past the garden and the small pond. Then they followed Lily up the stairs and went in the house. "There is no furniture in here," said Mirela. "Not yet, why have furniture in the house when there is nobody in it, said Lily. Saves on dusting and cleaning. There a table and chairs, let's sit. Now let me make you some nice ice cold sugar tea to sip on while we talk." Then three cups of tea appeared in front of them all. Mirela took a sip from her cup. "This tastes really good, what is in it?" "Just dark herbal tea and brown sugar with a touch of maple, said Lily. So you're a human, why were you walking to where all the elves live? asked Lily. "We both live in the elf village now and so does Kendra, said Quinn. Not just elves live there now but mostly elves do." "Okay, I guess that is nice, said Lily. I like living here where no one can sneak up and scare me. I scared very easily, especially a sudden loud sound. Makes me vanish then hide. I love rain but not with lightning, I have to hide under the house and cover my ears when it storms out. Are you afraid of lightning Mirela?" "No, not really. I love sitting out when it is raining and watching the sky for lightning, said Mirela. When you see the lightning you know the thunder will follow so it doesn't scare me unless it is very loud, said Mirela. That is a good time to take cover because the lightning is too close. So how long have you lived in Fae Land?" Not sure, as long as Pippa and Quinn have been. I followed them here, said Lily. I always followed them, they found the best and safest places to go and did amazing things together. They split up for a while so I followed Quinn when she stayed at Merlin's place for a while. I stayed invisible then most of the time and never talked to Merlin but I listened to him. He is really smart. When Quinn said it was time to move on to Merlin that is when I showed myself to him briefly. I said nothing, just gave him a kiss on the cheek then I vanished again and followed Quinn to where Pippa was living. Quinn may not do any magic but she can really figure out things that are complicated." Well, I better get back to the house. That order from the ice cream shop should be arriving soon, said Mirela. You can stay here with Lily if you want, I just need those trees parted again. No need for that, said Lily. She touched Mirela's hand and she vanished." You should go to the palace and meet here yourself." "No, no, no, I can't leave the woods. It is too scary out there," said Lily. "No it isn't, said Quinn. The people at the palace are very nice and would love to meet you," said Quinn. "Why don't you fly over there but stay invisible so they can't see you and just listen to them talking? Kendra and I go there all the time now. I know you are curious to see what is outside of the woods. You are just too scared of everything and everyone." "I am not scared of everything and everyone, said Lily. I am not scared of you and Mirela and I am not scared of trees and plants." "Well no one is afraid of plants, said Quinn. The people in Fae Land are all like Mirela. You are missing out on seeing how beautiful Fae Land is and how much love is everywhere." "Love is everywhere? People are nice and Fae Land is beautiful, is Fae Land as beautiful as my haven?" asked Lily. "Yes it is and even more beautiful in places, said Quinn. It is a very big place and I have only seen a small portion of it. I am looking forward to seeing more with Kendra. If you ever get the nerve to leave the woods you can come with us and explore. You did it with Pippa and me before and that was during dangerous times. Now it is very safe and peaceful. If you ever stop being a coward then do what I said. Anyway, I really have to go and help Mirela. Thanks for the tea." Then Quinn left. "Lily got up and made the cups and table set disappear then walked out the front door. She looked around her yard. "No way, Fae Land is more beautiful than here," thought Lily. "What should I do next out here? I am kind of running out of room. Quinn is right, I am being a coward."

My, my, my, no room over there, maybe a new tree over beside the house but that might make things too cluttered, said Lily. What am I to do if I can't do anything more here in my haven. Hmm, so Quinn thinks I am a coward, I don't want to be a coward, I just get scared and startled easily. However, I do stay hidden behind bushes when people are walking by the woods. I guess that makes me a coward also. I don't want Quinn to think I am a coward. Okay, I will do it and go to that palace place and listen to people while invisible. If I don't like what I hear I can always fly away back here. I wonder where it is, maybe fly up high and look around some I quess." Lily waved her hand and everything went hidden again then took flight plus went invisible. Alieta and Ivy were talking out front of the palace. "So what did you find out about that popcorn maker?" asked Alieta. "Well Cathy said she will order one for us when she goes to Cumberland today, said Ivy. She said we will need a bag of corn kernels too. Everything doesn't cost that much as far as she was concerned." "Well what is not much, Ginger is going to need to know," said Alieta. Shh, someone is getting close to us," whispered Ivy. "I don't see anyone, is it bad? asked Alieta. I can't tell, not evil though just very powerful magic, said Ivy. Just keep talking to me like nothing is wrong." "So Ivy if we get that popcorn machine then we will have something to give the kids when they are here," said Alieta. Alieta kept making idle conversation as Ivy slowly backed up a bit. Lily was trying her hardest to break free but couldn't and kept screaming and yelling. "What is going on Ivy? I can't see anything," said Alieta. "She is trying to get away but I got her." Then Lily bit Ivy's arm hard. "Ouch! stop biting me. You are not going anywhere until you settle down and tell us what you want," said Ivy. "What are you, some kind of a demon, let go of me or I will bite you again," said Lily. "Only if you settle down and talk to Alieta and me," said Ivy. "Alieta the Queen? Why does she have a demon protecting her?" asked Lily. "I am not a demon I am a forest sprite," said Ivy. Never mine Lily Fae, go back to wherever you came from. "Ya, I will get Pippa to put some pixie dust on it when I go to the cove," said Ivy. Lily became visible. "You know Pippa?" asked Lily. "Yes she is my best friend," said Ivy. "You are Ivy whom she talks about sometimes. The pretty forest sprite that controls magic. Why did you grab me, you scared the bejesus out of me. I can't stop shaking," said Lily.

"You try and calm her down Alieta while I go in the palace and wash off this bite wound," said Ivy. No need, said Lily then looked at Ivy's arm and blinked then the entire bite mark was healed and all the blood vanished. "Did you see that, I have never seen anything like that before. Not even Lilly can heal that fast," said Ivy. "I saw, it and I also saw she can go invisible. What did you see when you read her?" asked Alieta. Just her name is Lily Fae and I sense that she has very powerful magic, even more than I can sense with Merlin but not evil magic, she was moving around too much plus she bit me but because she was scared, that's all," said Ivy. "I know Merlin, he is a very nice and smart man, said Liliy.
