Plan In Motion

Just before sunrise Merlin woke everyone up and went to Alexa and told her to get things set up. Alexa told Zatsuky and Viridian to get in position and wait until you see Merlin that will look like me, freeze him then start firing. Now this wizard will probably need to be hit multiple times to kill him so move in fast, said Merlin. I can hold him in position but I will have to change back to my original form quickly to do that so do not fire until you see I have converted back. Then just keep firing those amazing weapons until he is turned to dust. Now where are we going to do this Alexa? Merlin asked. You are to walk out of the palace after Alieta has dismissed all the guards and she will bring Angus and Sivia inside the palace. Then you are to walk out to the sun dial as me like all is back to normal and read the time. Act like me as best as you can, said Alexa. Now if he does not appear right away then walk around a bit like you are enjoying the nice weather. Zatsuky and Viridian will be well hidden, even from above and will have a wide range of angles to work with. Now Alieta will have a few army elves walking around with no weapons to make things look like it does every morning. That is the best plan I could come up with and lets hope it works, said Alexa. Yes, very good plan Alexa. It should work if his arm has healed and it should of by now, said Merlin. Just be glad that it was not completely cut off because that would take much longer to grow back, said Merlin. Okay it will be light soon so let's get the plan in motion. We will wait until the sun has risen and is hitting the sundial, said Merlin. Good that will look like we ate breakfast as usual, said Alexa. Okay then let's get ready, said Merlin.

Zatsuky and Viridian were in place and the sun was starting to rise. Merlin and Alexa were standing just inside the palace door so they could see when the sun had hit the sundial through the two small windows. The rest of the team was with Alieta and Gabriel in the den as Alexa instructed. Gabriel went to see how Pippa was doing and found Ivy kneeling on the floor with her head down on the bed with Pippa playing with her hair. Hi Gabriel, said Pippa. Ivy has the most beautiful green hair, doesn't she. Yes she does, said Gabriel. So how are you feeling, asked Gabriel. I feel a lot better and I am getting hungry. What do you people eat in here, asked Pippa. Gabriel smiled and said well we can get you whatever you want. Then Ivy said without raising her head. Chocolate ice cream for Pippa please. Oh good morning Ivy, said Pippa. So is chocolate ice cream nice and sweet? asked Pippa. It is my favorite, said Ivy with a smile. Well I will get Alieta to fetch you both some. But Ivy, the team has a plan in motion so if you sense the wizard again, do not leave this room. Alexa has everything in control. Okay, Alexa is very smart you know, said Ivy. Yes we all know that, Gabriel said and went to talk to Alieta. Pippa is looking much better, said Gabriel to Alieta. She is hungry so that is a very good sign. Chocolate ice cream correct, said Alieta. Well yes Ivy suggested it, said Gabriel. Okay let's go and get some for the two of them. They both headed off to the kitchen. Nice to hear Pippa is getting better fast, said Carmen. She saved Zatsuky's life so we will never forget that, and we should never call her nutty again. Oh yes we all will because she is nutty and she even calls herself nutty, said Tempressa. Alieta and Gabriel returned with two chocolate milkshakes and gave them to Ivy. I got ice cream cones instead seeing Pippa has a broken arm, said Alieta. Oh wow, this smells nice, said Pippa. She licked it and a big smile came on her face. Good isn't it, said Ivy. Beats candy canes by a mile, said Pippa. The doctor said that the lump on the back of her head has pretty much disappeared and was very surprised to see it heal so fast. It is the magic of pixie dust, said Gabriel. Well all the scrapes are gone too but the bones will probably take longer. Pixie dust, said Pippa. Where did you get it from? Oh I didn't get it, said Gabriel. All your friends from the woods covered the palace in it. Really, said Pippa. Yes, thousands of them. You are one popular pixie, said Gabriel. I love all my friends, they are so nice, said Pippa then went back to eating. Ivy looked at Gabriel and said, "He is here". Okay stay put as I told you and stay with Pippa. I will go and make sure all is going as planned. Okay bye, said Ivy then went back to her ice cream cone too.

The sun had reached the sundial so Merlin changed to Alexa and walked over to the sundial. He could sense the evil wizard was nearby so he moved away from the sun dial and looked up at the sky then stretched. The three elves were walking around as instructed so all was looking like a regular morning. Suddenly the evil wizard appeared and grabbed Alexa's/Merlin's arm. You are not Alexa and he started to disappear. Merlin quickly turned back to himself and put a holding spell on him and kept it on him with his hand extended. Zatsuky and Viridian started firing at the evil wizard, but the beams were having just a bit of effect seeing the wizard was partly translucent. Viridian, Merlin yelled. Get over here fast. This guy is like a wiggly worm and I do not know how long I can keep a hold on him. Viridian ran over but kept a steady energy beam going on his chest. Okay, said Merlin. Use both the beam and the blade of the sword on him and slice this idiot into pieces. Viridian did as Merlin said and the wizard started to scream then went completely solid. Zatsuky blasted him also and the evil wizard fell backwards so Zatsuky took a swing at his neck and cut off his head. Both Viridian and Zatsuky stood on either side of the now dead wizard then Zatsuky yelled this is for Pippa and they blasted him into dust. Ivy looked at Pippa and said the evil man is dead. Everyone is safe again. Ivy looked at the doctor and asked, "When will Pippa be able to play with me and Viridian again". I am not sure, said the doctor but maybe in a few days she will be able to walk around some if these bones keep healing like they are. She has a badly damaged wing though and I don't know how to fix that. She may not be able to fly again but not sure. Pippa has to be able to fly again, said Ivy. She is the fastest. We will have to wait and see then, said the doctor. Alexa came running in and told Ivy and Pippa that the plan worked. Wow, you look so much better already, said Alexa. Yep, Ivy got Alieta to get us both chocolate ice cream, said Pippa. It was very good. Sweet stuff is good for my wings, Pippa said. That wing looks in bad shape though Pippa, said Alexa. I know, doctor says I may not fly again but I will be able to play again soon on the ground. Really, you won't be able to fly anymore, said Alexa. She thought for a few seconds. I will be right back, I have an idea.

Alexa went and grabbed the plant on the dresser and dumped the plant and dirt out then went outside and called for Gabriel. Yes dear, said Gabriel. Can you take me up to the roof of the palace please. Sure but what for? asked Gabriel. I need some pixie dust if there is any left up there. Gabriel teleported Alexa on the roof and she saw there was still a lot of pixie dust on the roof so she gathered up as much as she could fit in the pot then said, this might work for Pippa's wing. Yes of course, said Gabriel. Pixie dust comes from their wings, good thinking. Gabriel transported Alexa to Pippa. Hi Alexa. What have you got their, asked Pippa. Just something all your friends left on the roof of the palace. Can she sit up more? Alexa asked the doctor. I don't know. Here lets see, said the doctor. Pippa tried to sit up but was having a bit of trouble and it hurt her ribs. Ivy said try again but this time I will help you. Now on the count of three think of how good the ice cream tasted then push and I will push too. One, Two, Three... Pippa pushed with all her might and Ivy helped her to sit up. There you go Alexa, nothing to it, said Ivy. Ya, that is what you think, said Pippa that looked like she was in some pain again. Okay Ivy out of the way for a minute please, said Alexa. Alexa then started to sprinkle pixie dust on Pippa's broken wing. She also put some on the other wing because it looked like the dust had all worn off. She kept putting the dust on until she saw the wing started to move some. They all stood back and watched the dust do it's magic. Slowly the wing started to go back into shape. Then Pippa turned and said, that feels so much better and was able to move both wings again. Alexa sprinkled a little more on for good measures and then the wings were able to flap again. Yeah, yelled Ivy. You fixed Pippa's wing Alexa and gave her a hug. Well, said the doctor, that was amazing. I have never seen anything like that before. It is magic, said Pippa. Alexa is smart and she figured it out. Well just to make sure. Lay back down but not on your back, said the doctor. Lay on your side. You still need to heal more before you will be able to walk. Okay, said Pippa and layed on her side. Where is Viridian. Is she able to come in now? asked Pippa. Yes, said Alexa I will tell her. Alexa handed the clay pot to Ivy. You best get that plant back in here, said Alexa. Thanks, it will like having a bit of pixie dust in the dirt, said Ivy. Hope it don't grow too fast and big though. Alexa smiled then went to get Viridian.
