Chapter 4
The Feast
The Black Fae were all happy now and started to leave back to the mountains when Alieta told them to stop. Where do you think you are going? asked Alieta. We are going back home to release our queen, said the Black Fae elf. You will not leave here without eating, said Alieta. But there are so many of us, said the elf. Don't you worry about that. While we are getting ready could you please hurd all these animals back to the two woods? asked Alieta. Okay that will be fun, said the elf. With that Alieta put all her cooks to work then sent out winged elves to tell everyone in the land that the queen has requested for them to bring back to the palace all the food that they could spare for a public feast. All the elves were running all over the place getting the animals back in the woods. The Black Fae were having the time of their life, then one Black Fae said "What About Our Queen?". Then all of a sudden Mother Nature and the Queen Of The Black Fae appeared behind her and said, "I am Here", said Lateshya. The elf turned and said she you startled me. Mother Nature just smiled. Tempressa thought to herself well at least she didn't do it to me this time.
Safire asked if it was okay for her troops to stay too. I have heard that your cooks are the best in the land, said Safire. Of course you all can, said Alieta. I would like you and Alexa to come inside and tell me the entire story of what went on in the woods. The three of them went into the palace and in Alieta's den. I held my troops back to watch your team in action, said Safire. The sword fighting was an amazing trick and fooled that wizard for a while. No one being killed kind of gave things away though. When the wizard appeared Alexa sent all the elves out of the woods including the Black Fae elves and quickly came up with a plan with her team. Who would've thought that just eight people could defeat and kill one of the strongest wizards around. Mother nature was a big help near the end by distracking the wizard but even though Alexa killed him and cut off his head it was that pretty blonde girl made a perfect throw that ended the battle. What is her name? I have never seen her before. That is Paisley, Titus's girl and is turning out to be a very important member of my team, said Alexa.
They went back outside once Alexa told Alieta all about the battle with the wizard then Alieta announced to everyone that it will take a while for all the people to start arriving with food so have some fun once all the animals are gone then get some sleep when it gets dark. The elves and the Black Fae got along great together. When night arrived the Black Fae just slept on the palace grounds. In the morning the food started to arrive. By mid-day there was so much food that the palace's cooks could not deal with it all themselves. A lot of the citizens brought their barbecues and set them up and started to cook also. Then a big wagon pulled by two horses appeared and Ktara yelled out "It's Archie and Cinthia". They were so happy to see them again and they ran over to greet them. Well it is very good to see all you again, said Archie. I hear the queen has been keeping you all busy. Busy is not the word for it, said Alexa. They sat down on the ground and started to catch up and asked what Archie and Cinthia have been doing. Oh not to much, a little of this and a little of that but let me tell you we are very happy together, said Archie. Cinthia then lifted the bottom of her shirt and showed them that she was with child. Oh my god, said Alexa How far along are you? Just four months, said Cinthia. You humans got it easy, just eight to nine months of being pregnant and just a six to seven pound baby is all you have to push out, said Oaklyn.
Archie went to his wagon and two elves helped him unload and set up his three baraques. He then took a box of big steaks and started cooking them. People were even making fire pits to roast pigs and cook corn. Tempressa entertained all the children with ice tricks and Mother Nature put on shows to another bunch of children, and showed then how she could make flowers grow in just seconds by only pointing at the ground. Every once of a while Mother Nature would disappear to check on the orb to make sure all will be great for the feast and the rest of the world was under control then she would reappear. She went over to Tempressa and told her I am going to take you to my home next week and teach how to use the orb. I really need a vacation now. I think I will find a nice sandy warm beach and wear my bathing suit then sip on refreshments for a two or three days. Tempressa was so happy she hugged Mother Nature and said thank you so much.
