Pixie Ginger got dressed and went outside carrying the money in both hands and saw Alieta waiting for her. "Okay now here is a pouch to put those coins in. Hold on to them tight and follow me to town," said Alieta. "Okay," said Ginger then the two of them flew off. "Where are those two going?" asked Zan to Ginger. "Not sure but Pixie Ginger has some money now so I bet they are going shopping," said Ginger. "Wow shopping with the queen. Bet they get some great deals," said Zan. "You bet, said Ginger. Alieta knows how to shop and get the best deals and prices. Back at the tree house Amelie and Keiko were relaxing on the couch together. "So I wonder how everything is going with Ginger?" asked Amelie. "Probably real good, said Keiko. She is a natural. So maybe we should go to Ktara's place and see if she will show us how to work this stove." "That is a good idea, said Amelie. Then we can buy some food with the money she makes and let Ginger cook something." "Well she needs to learn how to cook first," said Keiko. "Oh ya, said Amelie. There must books that teach you how to cook stuff." "Yep probably in a store, said Keiko. We need money for that though. Well maybe we can trade something, you know make something with our wands." "Ya good idea," said Amelie. "When I was on the look out tower with Pippa, I saw a big town just north east of here. I bet that town has stores in it," said Keiko. "Yep probably, want to go?" asked Amelie. "Yep lets go," said Keiko and they flew off towards the North Town.

When they got to the North Town they saw a lot of different stores on a long street. "So how do we figure out which store sells cook books?" asked Keiko. "I don't know, maybe ask someone," said Amelie. "Yes that should work, there is a nice woman over there, lets ask her," said Keiko. They walked up to her and said Hello. "Oh my fairies, how nice, how can I help you two?" asked the woman. "Well we are new here and got a new kitchen and our friend Ginger wants to learn how to cook so we were wondering where to find books that teach a person how to cook," said Keiko. "Well usually fairies make there own food I was told," said the woman. "Ginger isn't a fairy," said Keiko. "Oh okay then you just have to walk down this street for about seven shops and you will see a store called Quick Mart, you can't miss it, there is a big sign above the door. They sell cook books and magazines in there near the back of the store," said the lady. "Okay thank you so much," then Keiko made her wand appear and put a ring on the woman's hand. "Wow a gold ring for just giving you directions," said the woman. "Yep, us fairies love to do magic and make people happy," said Keiko. "Well you just made me very happy," said the woman then continued on her way while looking at her new ring. "Well she was very nice, said Amelie. Lets find this store, I wonder why it is called Quick Mart?" "You must have to shop real fast in there, said Keiko. We are really good at doing things fast. "Yep and with two of us we can be twice as fast," said Amelie. They walked down the street and found the Quick Mart sign. "Okay here it is, said Amelie, lets go in and see if there are instructions for shopping fast". Inside they found a lot of different items hanging up and on shelves. "Okay no instructions that I can see, so where do we find cook books in this place? It is pretty big in here," said Keiko. "Ask someone again I suppose," said Amelie. "Ya but I don't see anyone yet, That nice lady said near the back of the store was where the books were, lets walk around some," said Keiko. They walked around to the back of the store and saw a lady putting magazines on a rack. Hello, we can't shop fast because we are new in this store and don't know where the cook books are, said Keiko. Do you know where they are?" The lady stood up and turned around. Fairies, I have never see a fairy before, why do you want to shop fast, are you in a hurry?" asked the woman. No, the sign says Quick Mart and quick means fast," said Amelie. "No it means you can find what you need fast, said the lady as she smile. "What was it you said you were looking for?" "Books that will teach our friend Ginger how to cook," said Amelie. "I see then you are at the right spot, here is a good magazine for beginners. It is only one dollar.' said the woman. "Well we don't have any money yet," said Keiko. "You need money to buy stuff in stores," said the lady. "Well we were thinking that maybe we could trade something for a cook book," said Keiko. "What did you have in mind?" asked the lady. "Well maybe this" and Keiko made a nice gold bracelet with ruby gems appear on her wrist. "Wow a gold bracelet, are these real gems?' asked the lady. "Yep fairies never make fake stuff, is that enough?" asked Keiko. "Enough, it is more than enough. Here take this book with recipes in it and this one is all about making deserts and this one has complete meal recipes in it, plus take any other ones that you want," said the lady. "Really, well this one with the man fishing looks interesting," said Keiko. "Oh yes that is a popular one, tells you how to fish and the different kinds of rods and hooks to use for different kinds of fish, said the lady. "Okay that is enough," said Keiko. "Okay then, let me put them in a bag for you and I will give you a free box of Jessica's candies also," said the lady. Both Amelie and Keiko smiled. She went to the front of the store then placed the books and a box of candy in a bag. "There you go. Have a great day," said the lady. We will now with all those candies! You too," said Amelie then they left.

The other woman that was working in the store walked over to the lady wearing the new bracelet. "Were those two fairies I just saw leaving the store?" asked the lady. "Yes and they thought yo had to shop fast in here that was funny, said the lady in red. Look what they traded me for some cook books and a fishing magazine." "Is that real gold and ruby gems?" asked the lady. Yep, they said fairies don't make fake things so real gold and looks like a dozen heart shaped rubies,: said the lady in red. "Wow that is worth a fortune, they could of bought almost everything in the store for that," said the lady. "I know but one of them said fairies love doing magic and making people happy, and seem very happy when I gave them a free box of candy also," said the lady in red. "Wow, I hope they come back some time, but then I get to serve them next!" said the lady. "Only if you beat me to them first," said the lady on red.
