Trapping The Trickster

  So that is a pixie, said Viridren. Very interesting beings, and you are correct, nutty and funny. Now I heard that Alexa can go translusent I think she called it and I would really love to show off my new outfit to Carmen so do you think we could get them to join me in the woods and have some fun with this trickster sprite. Alieta thought for a moment. Yes I think that would be okay, said Alieta. Alexa needs to know that you can disappear and Carmen will stop saying you look scary after she see's you in that new outfit, said Alieta. Great, said Viridren. We are not going to hurt this girl so they don't need to gear up at all, said Viridian. I just need to put my outfit on. This is all in good fun and to teach a sprite a lesson. Sounds good, said Alieta and if you are able to trap her, bring her to me, I have a hunch about this girl. What kind of hunch? asked Viridian. Just something Gabriel talked to me about, said Alieta. Alieta sent out a sprite to tell Alexa and Carmen to come to the palace. Carmen found it odd that she was wanted and not Zatsuky and Alexa knew that something must be going on but didn't know why no weapon this time was needed. They met up over by Sandy Lake where they stopped and talked for a minute. Hi Carmen, where are you going. To the palace,Alieta asked for me, said Carmen. Me too, said Alexa. I wonder what she wants. Beats me but can't be anything dangerous if now swords rae needed, said Carmen. Well something must be going on for her to want us, said Alexa. Alieta never askes for us unless it is important. Well I don't get to got to the palace without my battle gear on so how do I look? asked Carmen. Alexa smiled, you always look great, said Alexa. Besides the elves don't care how either of us look, said Alexa. They are always happy to see us. Yep and that is why I try to look my best all the time, said Carmen.

Once they arrived they found Alieta not far from the sundial. Okay we are here, what do you need? asked Alexa. Actually Pippa needs your help, said Alieta. There is aproblem in the woods. You mean Pippa the pixie, what can she possibly need from us? asked Carmen. Pippa is a very good friend of mine and when she asks me for help it means that it is something important to her, said Alieta. You two know what pixies do for us every night so it is time to do something for them. Okay so what needs to be done? asked Alexa. Can't be anything dangerous see we were told to leave our swords at home. No it is not dangerous at all but Viridian requested you two to help her, this ia all her plan, said Alieta. So is Viridian coming with us? asked Carmen. Where is she? I am right here, said Viridren. I can hear you but I cannot see you, said Alexa. Okay show yourself Viridren, time to get to work, said Alieta. Viridren became visible to them. Holy! How did you do that, said Alexa. A new trick I can do with this new outfit Alieta gave me, said Viridian. Wow, said Carmen. You are hot girl, like I mean real hot. Well thankyou, said Viridren. Alieta gave that to you? asked Alexa. It can make you go invisible?. Yep and it fits like a glove and it is also enchanted like your gear. Now that is going to come in very handy in the future, said Alexa. Okay so Alieta told us that this is all your idea so what is it? asked Alexa and what is going on? Well there is a forest sprite in the woods that has been driving the pixies in the west woods nutty. How is that possible, said Carmen. They are already nutty. Well this sprite is a trickster and joker and can go invisible. It will trip them and knock them over when invisible then fly away laughing. Sounds harmless but I can see why the pixies are getting upset with her, said Alexa. So how can we help. Well you can go translucent with your ring so that is going to help us to trap her, said Viridian. Okay so what is your plan? Wait, did you say a forest sprite? asked Alexa. Yes we believe so, said Viridian. Pippa gave Alieta her discription and and it matched to a real forest sprite. Really, there has never been a forest sprite in Fae land before, said Alexa. Do you know what that means? Yes it means we have to stop her and find out why she is acting the way she is, said Viridian. Yes of coarse, said Alexa but did Pippa say she was pretty? Actually she said gorgeous and the prettiest girl she has every seen. Alexa smiled and turned to Carmen. Well looks like you are not going to be the prettiest girl in Fae Land anymore. I never said I was the prettiest but you did say gorgeous right? Yes she did, said Alieta. Forest sprites are the prettiest of all sprites and Pippa said this one is the prettiest of them all. Wow I got to see this girl, said Carmen. Yep, that is the plan for all of us, said Alieta.

  So what do I do asked Carmen. Well you and Pippa witll be the bait mostly at first, said Viridian. Alexa can move really fast so we go in the woods talking and laughing then when in far enough you call for Pippa. She will be waiting for you. Have Pippa walk with you three but Alexa needs a bit off to the side. We don't want the the sprite to go after her first while translucent. Now this girl will probably go for the smallest first. Actually Pippa said she kinda liked her and forest sprites can read people some. It enables then to read what is going on in a tree if it doesn't look healthy, said Alieta. Good now that means when the sprite trips or pushes Pippa down I want Carmen to help her up but Alexa has to be behind Carmen. The odds are she will try ti push Alexa over next seeing she is the next smallest but she will go right through Alexa being translucent and bump into Carmen. Carmen has to grab her fast then Alexa needs to become solid again and grab her from the back, sandwitching her between the two of you holding on tight trapping her. That will give me some time to talk to her. Wearing this out fit may scare her enough to answer my questions. Okay that is a good plan said Alexa but good plans don't always turn out as they are supposed to. Well you will have to improvise then, said Viridian. Okay then lets get this show started, said Carmen. They headed to the woods which was a five minute walk which gave them time to go over the plan. When they reached the woods Viridian went invisisble and Alexa went translucent. About half way into the woods Pippa appeared. She is back at it again, said Pippa. Hi Alexa, hi Carmen nice to finally meet you. My you are pretty. Thanks Pippa nice to meet you too. Okay you three I see her coming and it doesn't look like she can see me, said Viridian. Holy Moses she is hot!  Just keep talking. In a few moments Pippa ended up on the ground. Carmen went to help her up but the forest sprite already backed away too far away. Are you okay Pippa? asked Carmen. Ya, just a bit dirty. Here she comes again, whispered Viridian.This time she pushed Pipa again but she bumped into Carmen, Alexa went solid and was able to grab the sprite so Pippa got small and out of the way so Carmen could grab her also.

 Let me go, sceamed the sprite and she started to squrim and wiggle. Man she is strong, said Carmen. Are forest sprites supposed to be this tuff? I don't know, I never seen one before, said Alexa that was starting to loose her grip. Viridian became visible and a surprised look came over the sprites face. Where did you come from, are you a witch. No I am Viridian an elf, stop struggling before you get hurt. The sprite continued to try and get free so Alexa tightened her grip. Okay okay I will stop moving, just tell the small one to stop squeezing. She is hurting me, said the sprite. Alexa loosened her grip and the sprite remained still. Now you have been causing problems in the west woods which is part of Fae Land. This type of stuff does not go on here, said Viridian. I was just having a bit of fun. No one is getting hurt, said the sprite. No not physically but feelings are getting hurt, said Alexa. Now we have to take you to see Alieta. She needs to talk to you, said Vividian. Who is Alieta? she asked. She is the queen of Fae Land, said Carmen. Oh oh, I have really done it now, haven't I. Is she going to put me in jail, asked the sprite. I don't know, said Viridian. Does Alieta have a jail? or a dungeon. I don't know either, said Alexa. I have never been bad so no reason to know about one. Ivylynn started to look very scared and sad was about to start crying. Okay that is enough, said Pippa. She is going to start crying and we don't do that to people here. Okay now, Alieta is a very kind and fare queen and everyone in Fae Land loves her. She will not throw you in jail because she dosn't have one. But she will want to talk to you. Oh okay. I promiss not to fly away if the smaller girl lets go. She is still hurting me, said Ivylynn. Oh sorry, said Alexa and let go of her. They walked out to the courtyard and Alieta was out there waiting for them. Oh my she is a sprite too, said Ivylynn. She is going to be mad at me I bet. Maybe I can just leave now and never come back, said the sprite. Running away will never solve anything, said Viridian. She just wants to talk to you that's all. Okay I guess, said the sprite. I like her wings.
