They both headed out towards the palace. Viridian could see Ivy was full of energy now as she kept showing off some of her flying tricks to her. Once they got to Sandy Lake, Ivy was so amazed at how beautiful it was and just had to fly around over the lake some to check it out closer. Once they rounded the corner and saw the palace. Ivy saw the palace with Alieta and Ginger out front. Race you there, said Ivy and took off like a flash. Viridian figured there was no way she could catch up to Ivy so she took her time, trying to figure out what to say to Alieta. Viridian let an elf take her horse to the stable then walked over to where Ivy was talking to Alieta and Ginger. There you are slow poke, said Ivy. I was just telling Alieta and Ginger that I just met how much fun we had today. Yes Ivy looks very happy already so how did you manage to eat at the Pancake House for free, asked Alieta. The ownwer said he has never serveed a hero in his eatery before and I told him we had no money but he just said we can eat for free, said Viridian. I see, well that won't happen again. Ginger here will set up an account for you two there so that all you have to do is sign the bill and the treasure will take care of it. Really, so I can go there when ever I want and eat some ice cream? asked Ivy. Don't worry Viridian I won't eat too much. Well yes, so you like ice cream then, said Alieta. Yep it is my most favorite food in the world now next tp Ktara's brownies, they are my second favorite food, said Ivy. You must have a sweet tooth then, said Ginger. I don't think so. They have no taste at all but sweets make my wings nice and strong, said Ivy. Ginger giggled. So Alieta, I would like to talk to you about something that Ktara and I talked about. Okay, Ginger can you take Ivy into the palace and get her a bowl of ice cream while we talk out here? asked Alieta. You have ice cream too! Is that okay Viridian. Yes but only a small bowl and that will be all for today, said Viridian. Okay thanks, then Ginger took Ivy in the palace. So what did you and Ktara talk about? asked Alieta. Well did you know that Ivy is just seventeen years old? asked Viridian. Actually yes, Gabriel told me that among many other things about Ivy. Well Ktara didn't think that it was a good idea for Ivy to be staying in the woods with all those pixies and the trees are not big enough to hold her when she sleeps, said Viridian. Okay, so what are you saying? asked Alieta. Well I want Ivy to live in the palace with me. She already told me I reminded her of her mother and she really listens to the things I say to her. Yes so I have seen and heard, she kept saying to me that Viridian said it was okay to do this and not okay to do that and just now she asked for your permission to have some ice cream, said Alieta. Your right she is still just a child and pixies no nothing about raisiing one. I was already planning on moving her into the palace and taking care of her myself but seeing she has already adopted you as her mother figure, I will gladly pass the job over to you. Do you think you can handle raising a young forest sprite? Well I don't think I have a choice, said Viridian. I can't have her loosing another mother, said Viridian. Exactly, sometimes things happen to people that is out of our control, said Alieta. In this case I truely believe it will be a very good thing for you and for everyone in the palace. Gabriel told me about a week ago that a very special person would be coming to Fae Land and that you and Pippa will be involved also. She also told me after we all met her that Ivy was very special and do amazing things here as she grows up. I am sure what yet but time will tell. Well first did you know she can read people deaply with out even being close to them. Not really, all sprites can read whether someone is good or bad. How about tell Ktara what she was baking in the oven before Ktara even said she was cooking anything. My goodness that would take so doing for even an elder elf, said Alieta. That's not all, she could sense the magic in Eden and said it was pure white magic and went straight to the center of Eden where she said it was strongest. She sat down on that spot and said she was comunicating with the earth then a bunch of flowers popped out of the ground all around her. All she said was the land likes her. Your kidding she was able to do all of that and even flowers came out of the ground, said Alieta. No forest sprite is capable of doing any of those things without some kind of magic inside her. Well then. A new room has already been prepared for you two. Your belongings have been moved over too. Go in and make sure Ivy wants to live in the palace but I am sure she will if you tell her how much better it will be for her. I have a feeling things are going to get very interesting around here now. Viridian smiled then ran into the palace. So we have a super forest sprite now living in Fae Land thought Alieta.

Viridian went in the dining room and found Ginger and Ivy talking at the table. Hi Ivy did you have some ice cream? asked Viridian. Yep and it was even better that the milkshake at the Pancake place, said Ivy. You eat it with a spoon and not a straw. Ginger said they have lots of different flavors too. Next time I come here I am going to try the blueberry ice cream. Okay so what are you two talking about? asked Viridian. Not much, I was just telling her a bit about Fae Land and the some of the other heroes, said Ginger. Okay so Ivy would like to come upstairs and see the room I stay in? asked Viridian. Sure, lead the way, said Ivy. Nice meeting you Ginger. Then they headed upstairs to Viridian's new room. When they got in the hallway upstairs there was an elf cleaning. When she saw the two of them she walked up and said hello. Everything is all set up in your room Viridian. Hello Ivy, it is nice to meet you. My name is Penny, I usually work the morning shift but Ginger wanted me to stay and help out moving stuff. Do you live in the palace too with Viridian? asked Ivy. No I have a house in the elf village, said Penny. I just work here to make some extra money. I'm going home now though. I don't have any money but today I got lots of free stuff, said Ivy. Well with a smile like that you may never need any money, said Penny. Anyways if you need anything just call, there will be another elf up here in a fes minutes. Then Penny went downstairs. Is there something wrong with my smile? asked Ivy. No not at all Ivy, you have a beautiful smile that makes other people smile, said Viridian.

Viridian opened the door to the bedroom and they both walked in. Wow you have a big room and look two beds too, said Ivy. Yes and there is two dressers to keep clean clothes in, said Viridian. You're really lucky being a hero and living in the palace and Ktara has her own house. Ginger said that Carmen lives with her best friend in a house also. Maybe we can be best friends too and we can live together too in this big room. Well that was my plan, said Viridian. I don't think you should be living by yourself just yet anyways. Really, you want me to live in the palace with you? don't you have to ask Alieta first. I already told her I wanted you to be my roommate, said Viridian. Really! So I can stay here with you? asked Ivy. Yes you can for as long as you want, said Viridian. Ivy gave her a big hug then looked at the two beds. I get the green one, green is my favorite colour, said Ivy. Yes I kinda figured that, said Viridian. What is in that door over there? asked Ivy. That is where the bathroom is, said Viridian. Do you know how to use one? Yep Ginger showed me after I ate my ice cream. This is the best day ever, said Ivy. You know now that you are living inside now do you still need those vines on your legs? asked Viridian. They don't really look that comfortable. They were when they were fresh but now they are dried out and getting scratchy. Where can I put them? Over there in that trash can, said Viridian. Ivy unwraped the vines then threw them in the trash. There are stockings in the wardrobe that the girls wear sometimes to look sexy, said Viridian. Ivy looked at Viridian with a confused look on here face. What does sexy mean? asked Ivy. Viridian smiled. We can talk about that another day Ivy but not today, said Viridian. Okay, what ever you say, you know best, said Ivy.

 Viridian went to the dresser to show Ivy what night clothes looked like. Now seeing you are used to sleeping in tree tops outside it may take a bit for you to get used to sleeping on a bed. You will fine a bed is much better and more comfortable though. Viridian took out a nightie then turned around and saw Ivy already laying on her bed fast asleep. Okay then, I guess you don't need to get used to a bed, thought Viridian. Just got to show her what a pillow is used for. She smiled then tip toed out of the room then went back outside to talk to Alieta.

Once outside she found Alieta talking to Ginger about something. Well hello again Viridian, where is Ivy? asked Alieta. Fast asleep in our room on the bed, said Viridian. Seems like she will have no problem adjusting to living indoors. Good so she agreed to stay in the palace instead of the woods I take it, said Alieta. Oh ya, she became very excited to be my roomate, said Viridian. She did ask me what sexy meant though. That will be a tricky one to explain to her, said Viridian. I have never never talked to someone young about sex before, maybe you should talk to her Alieta. Nope, I know nothing about children and have rarely been around them. Never even been on a date with anyone, said Alieta. Ginger smiled, don't worry I will talk to her, being sexy is a speciality of mine. Thanks ginger so much, said Viridian. So what were you two talking about? Nothing that important, said Ginger. Just when I was talking to Ivy in the dining room she kept saying how pretty I looked and how beautiful my hair and eyes were. Well that seems very nice of her, said Viridian. Yes it was and she made me feel very good inside but when I told her she looked very pretty she didn't think she was compared to everyone she has met in Fae Land so far, said Ginger. Maybe she is just modest but she does make a person feel good when they are around her, said Viridian. Well I believe it has something to do with what she is and was taught as she grew up, said Alieta. Okay what is that, asked Viridian. As a forest sprite she is taught how to comunicate with trees and plants making them feel good and happy which in turn helpd them to grow better and healthy, said Alieta. She probably is not used to being complemented by anyone other than from her parrents. Like Ginger said it is not important and nothing to worry about. Being modest is a possitive thing for someone so pretty. They way she returned so quickly to her loving self once she started meeting people here tels me that having Ivy living in Fae Land is going to have a positive impact on all the people here. Well me for one likes it when someone complements me and doesn't just say I ame cute, said Ginger. But you are cute, said Alieta. Ya well pretty is a lot better, said Ginger as she batted her eyes. Alieta rubbed her head, don't be silly my friend, you have always looked pretty to me, said Alieta. Hey don't mess up my hair, said Ginger. Looks just fine to me, said Alieta, what do you think Viridian? Don't get me involved, said Viridian. I am not taking sides in family talks. Alieta, smiled, we are all family here. Come lets go in and have some supper. It's on me. But its free, said Ginger as she followed Alieta into the palace. Viridian shook her head. Yep this definately feels like being part of a family, thought Viridian.
