"Let's see we definitely got to get rid of that loin cloth and skimpy panty, said Yeanny. Lets try this first." Yeanny changed the bottoms to black shorts with an orange band around the top. "How does that feel?" asked Yeanny. "Nice, a bit tight but it looks good," said Tigressa. "Well it will loosen some once you start moving around. Now let me make a matching top for you, said Yeanny. There that should give you some better support." "Support for what?" asked Tigressa. "You know for your boobs," said Yeanny. "Really, but they are not that big," said Tigressa. Yeanny smiled. "That top looks better and isn't made from elk hide. Now let me change into something nicer also." Yeanny made her clothes change too. "There now lets go over to my place and tell Zotac and Sakura what we are doing," said Yeanny. "You stay here Shasta, Sakura will be over soon to play with you," said Tigressa. Shasta just started rolling around on the carpet again. They walked over and told Sakura to go play with Shasta when she finished her lunch but not to leave the back yards. "Okay ready to go?" asked Yeanny. "Yep so how do we get there?" asked Tigressa. "With wizard magic, just give me your hand and hang on," said Yeanny. Tigressa put out her hand then Yeanny took hold of it and they vanished. "There they go, said Zotac. Yeanny is going to show Tigressa around and that means most of Fae Land will know about her and Shasta by the end of the day." "That's okay, then I will be able to show Shasta around and meet some of my friends," said Sakura. "You just finish your ice cream and do what your mother told you," said Zotac. "Okay," said Sakura. Yeanny and Tigressa appeared on the main street of the town. The street was busy with people going in and out of stores as usual. A little girl ran up to Tigressa. "Look Mom a tiger lady." The mother walked up to them. "Sorry about that. Hello Yeanny, who is the new girl?" she asked. "This is Tigressa. She just got here today and is living beside my place." said Yeanny. "Well hello Tigressa. You are quite the sight and I mean that in a good way. Are those real stripes or just paint?" asked the mother. "No they are real, just like Shasta's," said Tigressa. "Who is that," asked the mother. "My pet tiger, she is at home playing with Sakura right now." said Tigressa. "You mean a real tiger?" asked the mother. "Yep but very friendly and loves to play," said Tigressa. "Mom can we go see the friendly tiger?" asked the little girl. "Not today dear we have lots of shopping to do yet, maybe another day, said the mother. You should really come over sometime and see Shasta. She is very tame and quite friendly," said Yeanny. "So this is a real tiger and not like those Precious Pets I heard about in the palace?" asked the mother. "Yep a full grown jungle tiger, said Yeanny. "Okay I will, said the mother. Come dear lets get this shopping done. Nice to meet you Tigressa I am looking forward to hearing your story." "Well she was nice, said Tigressa. "Yes and she knows everyone in the human town. By the end of the day they will all know about you and Shasta, said Yeanny. So how would you like to have a special treat from the newest store to open up in town? You must be hungry." "Okay, what kind of store?" asked Tigressa. "A treats and ice cream store owned by two very good friends of mine. Come, it is just up ahead," said Yeanny. She took Tigressa to the Ice Cream Dreamland store and walked in. "Wow, it smells even better in here than the palace dining room," said Tigressa. "Yep this type of food Sakura amd Ivy calls happy food. Always puts a smile on your face," said Yeanny. That is Krissy behind the counter, let's just wait for those two girls to finish paying for their ice cream cones." "The two teen girls walked up to Yeanny and Tigressa after paying. "Now that's what I call a fashion statement," said one of the girls. "Ya tiger stripes. Lets go to your place and paint some on each other," said the other girl. "Cool idea," said the girl then walked out. "Look at you being a fashion statement already," said Yeanny. "What is that?" asked Tigressa. "Basically those teen girls like your stripes and want to look like you," said Yeanny. Come and meet Krissy." Hello, Yeanny, who is the pretty Fae girl you have with you? Let me guess, The Tiger Lady," said Krissy. "Close, this is Tigressa and is new here and also my neighbor now." "So are those real stripes, they sure do look real," said Krissy. "They sure are, and she has never tasted ice cream or cake before," said Yeanny. "Why not is she from some jungle or something?" asked Krissy. "Yes she is, said Yeanny. So I need to have some more ice cream delivered to my house, and I like the looks of that cake Ktara made. We haven't had lunch yet so can we both have a slice of chocolate layer cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream please to eat here." "You sure can," said Krissy. "Why is this cake called tiger cake? I see no stripes on it," said Tigressa. "That cake is something new Ktara cooked up. It is chocolate layer cake with orange flavored icing between each layer then covered with rich dark chocolate icing," said Krissy. "Do you want it? asked Yeanny. Sounds really good. Okay, maybe Shasta would like it too," said Tigressa. "Who is Shasta? asked Krissy. "My pet tiger, said Tigressa. Of course, I should of know," said Krissy. So for delivery also? Yes but that cake to her place, she lives right beside me in the new wood cabin. We won't be home for a couple hours yet so make deliver for around three PM please." "Okay, so a real pet tiger, you said. Things just keep getting better around here all the time," said Krissy. They sat down at a table after Yeanny paid for everything. Tigressa smelt the cake and ice cream then took her fork and started spinning it in the ice cream. "What are you doing? asked Yeanny. "I am doing what Alieta told what to do with a fork when she got me spaghetti," said Tigressa. "Well that is what you do with just spaghetti but with cake and ice cream you use it like this." Yeanny ate a bit of her ice cream and cake. "Oh that looks so much better," said Tigressa. Then she started eating. So what do you think of the cake and ice cream?" asked Yeanny. It is too good to stop," said Tigressa then kept on eating. Yeanny just smiled and ate her cake and ice cream too. Once they were done they said goodbye to Krissy then headed for the grocery store. "This is the store that you will be buying all your food from. There are a number of things we need to make spaghetti but you will need more vegetables than what Lily made for you and some bread. I will show you where everything is in here," said Yeanny. They went inside and Yeanny grabbed a cart. "Over there is the vegetables so we will start there," said Yeanny. Look at all this stuff, I can eat these things?" asked Tigressa. "Yep and they are very good for you, said Yeanny. You have to cook most of them in boiling water first or slice them up with a knife and add them to a stew. If you can read there are some cook books at the other end of the store." "Yep I can read," said Tigressa. "Okay, here you take the cart and I will start putting things in it that we need," said Yeanny. "Alright first you need some onions and a garlic, a small bag of potatoes. Then carrots are always good to have. You can eat carrots raw and they are good for your eyes," said Yeanny. My eyes work fine I have eyes like a tiger," said Tigressa. "Really, then do you see that sign way across the other side of the store with the picture of the milk carton on it?" asked Yeanny. "Is that what is in that carton?" asked Tigressa. "Yes it is a carton of milk, something we need to get also, said Yeanny. "Yep, I see it," said Tigressa. "Okay so what does the small print say below the carton?" asked Yeanny. "Contains four percent fat," said Tigressa. "What, no way, even Ivy's eyes can't read something that small and far away." "Let me check. "Yeanny walked over to the sign. "I don't believe it she is right." She walked back over to Tigressa. "Well you nailed it. Still carrots taste good raw or cooked and are good for you," said Yeanny. They walked around the store and Yeanny showed Tigressa where everything was while picking up the odd things here and there. "This here is cooking oil that you will need to use when frying things like eggs and steaks. You will need to wear this apron when frying things so the hot oil doesn't burn you. Now for that carton of milk with four percent fat as you saw from across the store. Milk goes great with cakes and cookies and other pastries plus is used in many baking recipes, said Yeanny. Okay now you needa loaf of bread and some butter. That goes good while eating spaghetti. The bread is against the wall over there, follow me. When they reached the bread Yeanny went to move a few things around in the cart to make some more room when she noticed a stuffed animal in the cart. "Where did you find this toy?" asked Yeanny. "I over there with the other soft animals," said Tigressa. "When did you put that in the cart? I didn't see you do it," said Yeanny. 'When you went to look at the milk sign," said Tigressa. "Okay but why do you want a stuffed animal, you are too old to be playing with toys," said Yeanny. "It's an elephant and I love them. They are super big and walk around in the water and spray water out their snouts at me so I can wash my hair and stuff." "You had elephants give you a shower?" asked Yeanny. "Yep, they are really friendly and not scared of anything." I used to ride them sometimes before Shasta was born," said Tigressa. I rode the giraffes too but the soft toy of one in there has too short of a neck and doesn't look like one. "How did you get on a giraffe's back? asked Yeanny. They have very long legs also." I'd just call it down and jump on the giraffe's head then she would swing me over to her back," said Tigressa. "Wow you did have a very interesting life before you got here, said Yeanny. So is this toy for Shasta then?" "Maybe or maybe not, probably not, said Tigressa. I can keep it right?" Yeanny smiled. "Yes you can keep your stuffed blue elephant," said Yeanny. "Okay that should be all that we need, now let's go over there where the check out is and pay for this stuff, said Yeanny. This time you will pay the girl." "But I don't have any coins," said Tigressa. "You will use my coins. Now do you remember what each coin looks like and what they are worth like Zotac showed you?" asked Yeanny. "Yep, I have it memorized," said Tigressa. "Good here you go now let's get in line," said Yeanny. When they reached the cashier the girl rang everything up. "That will be forty two dollars," said the girl. Tigressa took out four ten dollar coins and two one dollar coins and handed it to the girl. "We need it delivered," said Yeanny. "That is two dollars more then," said the girl. Tigress looked in the bag but there were no more one dollars coins left. "All I have is five dollar and fifty dollar coins, left," said Tigressa. "That is fine, just give her the one five dollar coin and she will give you the change back," said Yeanny. Tigressa gave the girl the five dollar coin and she gave her the change. "So where is it being delivered to?" asked the girl. "My house is number one in the elf village but her house has no number on it yet but it is right beside mine," said Yeanny. "Oh so number two then," said the girl. "No there is a house with that number further down from me." "Okay then let's call it number one and a half then, said the girl. I love your stripes, you must be new to Fae Land." "Yes I just got here today," said Tigressa. "Well that is very new, happy cooking," said the girl then Yeanny and Tigressa left the store. "That is all we need to do in town, said Yeanny. We should get back now." "How far is it to home?" asked Tigressa. "Not far, you will be able to walk to town in ten minutes," said Yeanny. "Can we walk then. The magic you used to get us here made me a bit dizzy," said Tigressa. "Yes that can take a bit of getting used to, said Yeanny. Sure lets walk. As they were walking Yeanny wanted to know more about Tigressa's life in the jungle. "Tell me some more about the things you did in the jungle, said Yeanny. Like the things you did for fun while you were growing up." "Lots of things, I would play with the chimpanzees swinging on vines from tree to tree. Sometimes I would play with the pixies, they all loved to play. The tigers loved to play in the water so that is where I learned to swim. I got really good at it too. I would dive off a cliff and swim underwater then sneak up under one and pull its tail. There is always something to do in the jungle." Yeanny stopped walking and stood in front of Tigressa. "So do you know how long you were in the jungle?" "Yep, about nineteen years. I don't know exactly but that is the closest from when the tigers found me and the pixies started taking care of me with them." "Really, you look older than that being so tall and all, said Yeanny. Have you always worn your hair up like that?" "No just when we went hunting and while swinging on vines. My hair would get too tangled or stuck in the branches, said Tigressa. I always let it down when swimming so it would get clean, and when the elephants sprayed me." "Well there are no vines here to swing on and you don't have to hunt anymore so why don't you show me what you look like with your hair down when we get back to your place?" asked Yeanny. "Okay but I look the same, just with long hair," said Tigressa. "I know, I just want to see anyways, I think you will look prettier with your hair down, said Yeanny. Looks like you have pretty long hair all rolled up." "Okay," said Tigressa. "Alright there is Sakura in the backyard playing with Shasta. Let me go tell her to stay out here while we go in your place," said Yeanny. "She can come in too if she likes," said Tigressa. "Not while I am doing things with your hair, said Yeanny. Have you seen her hair?" "Okay I get it," said Tigress. Yeanny went to Sakura and told her she was going to fix Tigressa's hair for her. "It don't look broken to me, said Sakura. It looks really nice." "Well yes but I just want to see what it looks like let down and brushed," said Yeanny. "Oh okay like when you brush my hair," said Sakura. "Yes that's right," said Yeanny. "It always looks the same though but I like how it feels when you brush it so can I watch?" asked Sakura. "No I want it to be a surprise," said Yeanny. "Okay I like surprises too. Shasta and I are are going to rest a bit out here before we play another game," said Sakura. "Bring out a bowl of water for her then, said Yeanny. Okay let's go and check out that hair of yours." They went in the cabin and walked over to the table. Yeanny pulled out a chair. "You sit there and I will unravel all this hair," said Yeanny. "Okay but the pixies always make it nice and tight so do the braid first, then the bun will come loose easier," said Tigressa. "Okay, I will figure it out," said Yeanny. Tigressa sat nice and still on the chair while Yeanny work on undoing the braid around the bun. "There, it is all nice and loose now, Just have to pull this length of hair and the rest should all fall down. Wow, is your hair ever long, said Yeanny. Have you ever cut it?" "Nope never, how would I do that?" asked Tigressa. "Never mind, Let me brush it and get the tangles out for you," said Yeanny. Yeanny began brushing the back of her hair first. "My goodness the more I brush the longer it seems to get," said Yeanny. "Sakura is right, it does feel good when you brush my hair. The pixies just ran their fingers through it a few times," said Tigressa. "Well this brush is made special for long thick hair, said Yeanny. Let me do the sides now." Yeanny kept brushing and making Tigressa's hair look fantastic. She brought the sides out to the front then stood back. "Now that is what I call a beautiful head of hair," said Yeanny. "Really but you have long pretty hair too," said Tigressa. "Not like that, here have a look in a mirror." Yeanny made a mirror appear in her hand. "Is that me? I look so different than the reflection I saw in the pond," said Tigressa. "Your hair is so soft and natural looking, you look much better like this, said Yeanny. Here you keep the brush and the mirror, let's go show Sakura. I would say you are one of the prettiest and definitely the most exotic girl in Fae Land." "What is exotic?" asked Tigressa. You are exoyic'" said Yeanny. They both left the cabin and walked over to Yeanny's backyard where they found both Sakura and Shasta laying on their backs looking up at the sky. "What are you doing Sakura?" asked Yeanny. "Star gazing," said Sakura. "But it is day time and won't be dark for some time yet." "I know, I am getting a head start, said Sakura. I don't stay awake long enough to see them for real just like the colourful pixie lights so I am using my imagination." "So Shasta is doing the same?" asked Yeanna. "I don't know, I think she is just copying me," said Sakura. "Okay, get up and have a look at Tigressa and tell her what you think of her new look," said Yeanny. Okay! Lets see, this is going to take a three hundred and sixty degree observation," said Sakura. She flew off the ground and began to slowly circle around Tigressa. When she got back to the front she stopped in mid air. "I love it, very exotic looking. You have very pretty hair like me but a lot longer. Makes you look lots better," said Sakura. "Are you going to tell me what exotic means?" asked Tigressa. "Sure it means, in your case a woman originating from somewhere far away, different from most women like Amazon girls that are bigger and stronger than regular girls usually with different coloured natural skin, said Sakura. Something like Safire, she has blue skin, said Sakura. How did you grow your hair so long? Mine just stays the way it is now." "Where did you learn all that stuff?" asked Yeanny. "At the school library, said Sakura. When I was looking up about tigers and lions, they called them one type of exotic animal and talked about other exotic animals and people too." "Okay I am going in to get Zotac to check it out too," said Yeanny. Then she went in the back door. "You know, now you are on my list of the prettiest girls in Fae Land," said Sakura. "You keep a list for that?" asked Tigressa. "Yep but just in my head, said Sakura. "Ivy and Kendra are on it plus Zenith and Tiffany, Mika too." "So do you have someone that is the number one prettiest girl in Fae Land?" asked Tigressa. "Yep, my Mom. She is the best!" said Sakura. Tigressa smiled. "You are a very special girl Sakura. It is going to be fun living beside you." "Yep and wait until you meet Lulu, my very best friend. She is a lot like me and loves to play also," said Sakura. After Yeanny came back out with Zotac and he thought the new look was very good also, Yeanny told Tigressa that she was going to go to the palace to see Ginger. "Ginger usually charges for a building permit, said Yeanny. It is not much, just sixty dollars." "Sounds like a lot to me, said Tigressa. That is more than all the food and stuff you bought for me." "Well it is nice to see you can compare the value of things but it is best to just pay it and be done with it," said Yeanny. "Okay, can I go there and pay for it then? asked Tigressa. I would like to do something towards my new home. Besides Shasta needs to go on a bit of a run." "I suppose so, I will get you the money for it," said Yeanny. "Nope I will pay for it myself with tha money you gave me," said Tigressa. "Alright then, I will wait for the delivery girls to come with our stuff then," said Yeanny. "Lets go Shasta, were going back to the palace." Shasta stood up and Tigressa got on her back then they took off past her home and out of sight. "Wow she can go fast on Shasta, said Sakura. Not me yet, I need to grow more first. So now what am I going to do?" "Go over to Lulu's place and tell her about Tigressa and Shasta," said Yeanny. "Good idea, I wonder if she knows what a tiger is, said Sakura. "We can always go to the school library and I can show her." Then Sakura flew off. "Okay so now I get to rest a bit," said Yeanny. "The house is empty and you want to rest?" asked Zotac. "Why what do you want to do?" asked Yeanny. "Oh I am sure we can think of something together," said Zotac. "What about the delivery girls? asked Yeanny. "Just leave a note on the front door," said Zotac. Yeanny smiled then took Zotac's hand and they both went in the house. Tigressa saw Ginger out front of the palace talking to Oscar on the couch. She rode up to them and jumped off of Shasta. Ginger stood up fast looking at Shasta that just sat down looking back at her. "Umm hello, I was just getting ready to come and see you and the cabin Lily made for you two, said Ginger. Shasta sure is big, I didn't know tigers were so huge." "Shasta is just one year old, she might get a bit bigger but not much," said Tigressa. "So Lily told me she is gentle and won't bite," said Ginger. "Tigers don't consider people as prey, said Oscar. They don't consider them a threat either and will ignore anyone watching them from a distance." "Thank you Oscar for your documentary," said Ginger. "Just saying the facts but wow Tigressa, you look great with your hair down like that," said Oscar. "Thank you, Yeanny let it down and brushed it for me," said Tigressa. "Yeanny said that I need to pay for a building permit. I brought the sixty dollars for you." "No, Lily made it very plain to me that you shouldn't have to pay for a permit," said Ginger. "Oh, well thank you Ginger," said Tigressa. "Thank Lily, that fairy really knows how to talk business with a old pro like Ginger," said Oscar. "Ginger doesn't look very old at all, said Tigressa. She is quite pretty." Ginger smiled then looked at Oscar. "Not another word about my age," said Ginger. "Now that I see you so close, I didn't realize how tall you are. I have never seen an elf so big and tall. You are even taller than Zatsuky." "It's mostly my long legs, they make it so I can run fast like Shasta, said Tigressa. Shasta is a bit faster than me though." "Is it okay to pat Shasta?" asked Ginger. "Yep she loves it," said Tigressa. Ginger reached out and began to pat the side of Shasta's face. "Look she is smiling at me. Yep I told you she likes being patted," said Tigressa. So that necklace you are wearing, are they real tiger teeth." "Yep, the pixies made it for me, said Tigressa. Just the fangs though. Sometimes a tiger loses a tooth when biting into something hard but it grows back in. The pixies told me the.necklace will give me good luck just like tigers are good luck. Also it will protect me from harm, evil spirits and curses. But I wear it because it is pretty. The small one on my neck is the first baby tooth Shasta lost. That one is my favorite." "So pixies made it for you, were their many pixies in that jungle?" asked Ginger. "Yep tons but mostly stayed small, sometimes they got big for me to play with. They made the big necklace and I made the small one with Shasta's tooth myself." "Hey where did Shasta go, I was looking at your necklace and didn't see where she wander off to," said Ginger. "She is just over there with that girl and those two little tigers, said Tigressa. She can move fast when she wants to. I thought you said there were no tigers here" "Well, one is a kitten not a tiger and the other is Trigger, not a real tiger cub, said Ginger. She is a gift from Gabriel the angel to one of the girls that live in the palace. They are called Precious Pets that can talk." "Wow this place really is magical, said Tigressa. "So Shasta is okay over there with them?" "Yep, she is just being curious. Those two are the first animals she has seen here, said Tigressa. Lets go over and watch them together." Shasta had laid down on the ground infromt of them all. Jessie was a bit startled at first but saw that Shasta was not paying attention to her but was just watching Tabby. Tabby turned around and saw Shasta then arched her back and began hissing at her. Trigger turned around also and saw Shasta smiling at Tabby that seemed like she was trying to scare Shasta away. "Now that is one big cat," said Trigger. "That is a tiger, a much bigger version of you silly," said Jessie. "Really, that is what a real live tiger looks like, she is humungus, said Trigger. Maybe Tabby will scare her away." Jessie giggled. "Does it look like the tiger is scared of Tabby?" asked Jessie. "No she looks happy for some reason," said Trigger. Tigressa walk up to them and said hello. "Don't worry about Shasta she won't hurt anyone. My name is Tigressa. So you are a Precious Pet." "Yep, my name is Trigger and I am a ferocious tiger cub." "Really, there is no such thing as a ferocious tiger cub I grew up with tigers and cubs are all friendly and love to play," said Tigressa. "Oh, so no fooling you then. Ya I love playing too," said Trigger. "Can I pick up your kitten? asked Tigressa. I know some things about cats that may help her relax." "Okay, that is Tabby and she doesn't seem to like Shasta," said Jessie. "Well let me see about that," said Tigressa. She picked up Tabby and held her gently in her arms. "Tabby is just scared," said Tigressa. She began gently blowing on Tabby's face making her whiskers move some. That's a good girl, Shasta will not hurt you, she has never seen a kitten before and just wants to be friends. Tigers are very lucky you know and having one as a friend is very special." Tabby relaxed in Tigressa's arms and stopped wagging her tail. She began scratching under Tabby's neck that made her purr. "There we go little one, now go make friends with my Shasta. Try not to hurt her okay," said Tigressa. "She put Tabby back down in front of Shasta. This time Tabby just sat there looking at Shasta at first then got up and walked close to Shasta. Shasta gave Tabby a lick and knocked her over. She began licking Tabby's tummy with the tip of her tongue. "Look Tabby likes being licked," said Jessie. "Yep, I'm next Shasta," said Trigger.
