Tabby was just scared and that is what cats do when they are scared, said Tigressa. Tiger cubs do it all the time especially when a snake comes up to them. They try to scare it away. Tigers are very proud animals and won't run away unless they have too. I guess kittens are a bit the same." "Okay so why did you blow in Tabby's face?" asked Ginger. "Just to change her attention to me and forget about Shasta that she couldn't see while I was holding her, said Tigressa. No one likes anyone blowing at them in their face so now Tabby was mad at me. Then I just told her how beautiful she was and having a tiger as a friend is lucky then scratched under her neck that all cats love. That made us friends and she trusted what I told to her." "So you think Tabby understood what you said to her," said Ginger. "Sort of it is more how you say thing more than what you say to them, said Tigressa. Most cats can figure out what you are saying. I talked to all the tigers in the forest and they all knew what I was saying. That is why the pixies started calling me The Tiger Lady. The girl that talks to the tigers. Look at them all now, playing and having fun together." Both Ginger and Oscar looked down and saw Shasta on the ground playing with Trigger as Jessie played with Tabby on Shasta's back. "Amazing, Shasta is very tolerant," said Ginger. "No she wants to make friends too and loves playing also. A one year old tiger is still a very young tiger, said Tigressa. Sort of like me a teenager." "Your just a teen?" asked Oscar. "Yep nineteen years in the jungle. The pixies kept track for me," said Tigressa.

"What do you think Oscar, did you think she was just nineteen years old?" asked Ginger. "Nope, and I didn't know she could talk to animals either, said Oscar. Some kind of magic going on their." "Well just cats," said Ginger. "Nope, probably all animals, said Oscar. I bet she talked to other animals in the jungle also." "Well that doesn't matter, said Ginger. There are not many animals in Fae Land." "Well I hate to break up their fun over there but I have a big delivery of food coming so we have to get back home," said Tigressa. "Don't be a stranger and come back often," said Ginger. "Okay we will, said Tigressa. Come Shasta we have to go home now." Shasta got up and walked over to her then looked up. "Okay, you can sleep some when we get home," said Tigressa. She jumped on Shasta then they ran off. "Did you see that, she knew what what Shasta wanted to do," said Ginger. "Yep, I guess animals can talk to her too, said Oscar. See, I told you, some kind of magic going on inside of her." When they got home Tigressa got off of Shasta and went to open the door but someone call to her from behind. She turned around and saw a very cute winged girl standing on the grass. "Hello Tigressa, can I talk to you for a bit. I promise not to take up much of your time." "Okay, said Tigressa and walked up to her. "What can I do for you?" asked Tigressa. "Nothing, I was asked to come and see you and explain a few things for you. My name is Poppy and I am the angel, that helps the Fae here when they need it." "Really an angel, it doesn't seem like people here need an angel," said Tigressa. "Everyone needs an angel from time to time," said Poppy. "You for instance have been watched from the day you were born and kept safe until the tigers found you. Gabriel who is the boss angel in heaven made sure an angel was always close by as you grew up. Now that you are here no one needs to watch over you anymore but I am here if you ever need to talk. Looks like Shasta finally went to sleep. It has been a long day for her without having her cat naps." Tigress looked towards the house and saw Shasta sleeping on the porch. "Yes she was excited also meeting new people and making friends. She is very special to me," said Tigressa. "Yes, both of you are special because of where you two lived," said Poppy. "What do you mean, we lived in a jungle, that's all," said Tigressa. "Yes, a jungle filled with thousands of pixies, said Poppy. "You grew up practically living and breathing in pixie dust all of your life. That is why you can run so fast and see so good plus most important you can talk to all types of animals, big or small. So why is Shasta special? asked Tigressa. She seems like a normal tiger like the rest of them of them in the pack." "None of those tigers are normal, said Poppy. That was a very special large pack of tigers that stayed together like a family. Tigers once the reach maturity will leave the pack and prefer to hunt and live alone. A pack of tigers with more than six in it with one male is normal. Not over fourty with several males in it. Not just that but pixie dust slows down the aging process big time so those tigers have been alive for a long time and are very smart. Shasta was born and lived in pixie dust and that is why she is so smart and kind to all that lives. There is plenty of pixie dust here also so she will continue to live for a very long time also. The white magic coming from Eden will also create longevity and good health for both of you. Now like I said if you ever need to talk or have a question just call for me and I will come as soon as I can. There are a lot of Fae in this area you know and I am the only angel here for them. Be good and enjoy the cake that is sitting on your table. I would stay and have a slice with you but I have a few other people to check on." Then Poppy vanished. Tigressa looked and saw Shasta still fast asleep so she went in the cabin and left the door open for her.

When Tigressa was in the cabin she saw the tiger cake sitting on the table. She checked the ice box and the cupboards and saw Yeanny had put everything away for her. She looked at the small table beside her bed and saw that Yeanny put the soft stuffed elephant toy on it. She picked it up and looked at the eyes that were stuck on it. I will never forget about all of you elephants and the rest of the animals that were so nice to me in the jungle, thought Tigressa. I hope you all never forget about me. She put the stuffed toy back on the table then looked around. Maybe there is a store where I can find more soft animals like the giraffes and monkeys, plus all the other animals I got to meet and become friends with. Then she saw the cake again and looked in the cupboard for a plate and fork.

Tigressa put the plate and fork on the table then took a big knife and cut herself a slice. She sat down and looked at the slice of cake. Not really like tiger stripes, she thought. Should have orange cake and chocolate cream. Oh ya, Yeanny said milk goes good with cake so she found a glass and filled it with milk from the ice box then sat back down. Okay I guess this is where my new life begins with Shasta. She took a bite of the cake. Well the food here sure tastes a lot better, that is for sure and clothes are more comfortable. That bed looks nice too. I have fun neighbours, just no animals to play with now. Once Shasta finishes her nap we are going out to explore this new land and see what else lives here. There just has to be some wild animals somewhere. Then she went back to eating her cake.

Shasta woke up and walked in the cabin. "There you are sleepy head. How would you like to go on an adventure with me?" Shasta smiled at her. "Okay then, first have some water and this piece of meat. You are going to need your energy." Shasta ate the meat then drank the water Tigressa put in a bowl for her. "Now I know Yeanny figures it is too early for us to be going out together meeting people so let's just look and see what kind of animals live here. There has to be some, Ginger said there were not many in Fae Land but not many means there are animals somewhere. Let's head out towards the town then turn clear of it." "They both went outside then ran past Yeanny's house towards the town. Tigressa saw a big open area just east of the town so they headed towards it. "Just open land here so far and lots of it, said Tigressa. Keep going, there has to be some kind of animal life somewhere. I haven't even seen an insect so far, not that I miss them." They rode on slowly looking around the grassy plains when Tigressa spotted something big in the sky. "What is that, it is way too big to be a bird, said Tigressa. Stop here Shasta. Looks like it spotted us. They watched as it swooped down and landed in front of them. "Well who might you be, riding on a tiger? My name is Pegasus." "You can talk, I have never met an animal that actually talks before, said Tigressa. Except Oscar can talk but he is an owl. I am Tigressa and this is Shasta. We just got here today. You look like a horse but you have wings like an eagle, just all white. Are you a mix breed like me?" "No I was created with wings by God. So you just decided to start riding around on that big tiger of yours on the Grassy Plains. Where did you get her and where are you going all by yourself?" asked Pegasus. "First of all her name is Shasta so have some respect so I am not alone and we first met Alieta, then Lily and Oscar then we met Ivy. Later we met Yeanny, Zotac and Sakura. That is where Lily made a home for us two. Later on after Yeanny took me shopping, we met Ginger at the palace." That is all so far I think." "Okay, then you did meet all the right people first, said Pegasus. Now the reason why I asked where you going on Shata is because first Shasta is a very big tiger. The tigers in this region that live in some of the bigger forests and rocky terrains are somewhat smaller and nowhere near as healthy looking as yours. Not to mention would never let anyone or anything get on their back and second New people always have someone show them around a bit first." "Well we are not from a forest, we lived in the jungle and all the girl tigers are around Shasta's size. The males are even bigger," said Tigressa. "A jungle! There are no jungles on this continent. The closest jungle is on the south continent thousands of miles from here," said Pegasus. That would be a very long trip for anyone to travel, even on the back of a tiger, I mean on Shasta's back." "Well we had some help from God that brought us here away from all the bad men that were trying to hunt and kill us, said Tigressa. That is what Alieta thinks that happened when we suddenly appeared not far from Fae Land." "Okay so now things are beginning to make sense. You two must be special then for God to get involved, said Pegasus. Obviously you are, looking like a tiger lady and Shasta is quite calm and not trying to attack or eat me. "So what are you looking for out here on the grassy plains just the two of you?" "Animals, we just want to see if there are any animals in Fae Land we can make friends with," said Tigressa. "Really, well there are no wild animals like the kind you would see in a jungle here, just some unicorns and monkeys in the west woods, plus lots of people have horses, said Pegasus. There are small animals like squirrels and rabbits in the woods," said Pegasus. "What is a unicorn?" asked Tigressa. "They are like a horse but with a magical horn on their head. Very beautiful and pure white like me," said Pegasus. "Are there more horses like you here with big wings?" asked Tigressa. "No I am the only one here, said Pegasus. "Would you like to meet a good friend of mine that is a special unicorn that can talk like me? She is a very magical unicorn named Tillia. That way I can at least help you see a bit of Fae Land and you won't be wandering around not knowing where you are. Fae Land is very big." "Okay but I can talk to the other unicorns too, I am able to talk to all animals," said Tigressa. "Nice, that is another thing that is special about you, said Pegasus. Come follow me Tillia lives with Ivy, Viridian and Sara in the south west end of Eden."

They walked west into Eden. "What is that tall thing way ahead of us?" asked Tigressa. "That Is where the radio station is," said Pegasus. "What is that?" asked Tigressa. "It is where they play music so everyone can listen to it on radios, said Pegasus. I don't know much about how that all works but Ivy does, Best you ask here about that but there is a very magical tree there if you want to see that first then we can come back to that house just ahead and you can meet Zatsuky and Carmen, they are special heros that help to keep Fae Land safe." "Okay we will just go where you think is best for us to to make friends," said Tigressa. They went past Zatsuky's place and went to the radio staion area. "Wow that is very tall and I can hear pretty sounds from inside that building," said Tigressa. "Yep, Miyo is in there now I think," said Pegasus. "That is a pretty tree, why is it out here with no other trees around it?" asked Tigressa. "That is the Golden Beacon Tree that Ivy planted a couple of years ago so she can control the magic better in Eden and send it out to the Pixie Forest way over there," said Pegasus. "Really, Ivy can control magic with a tree?" asked Tigressa. "Sort of, but this is not a regular tree, it absorbs magic from all around it then Ivy can send it out from inside the fairy forest, said Pegasus. I don't really know how she does it but she can. Ivy isn't just another pretty face, she is very powerful inside." "Ya she is really pretty, isn't she," said Tigressa. "Yep, number one on Sakura's most prettiest list," said Pegasus. "Nope she told me her Mom is number one," said Tigressa. "Ya Sakura sure does love her mother, said Pegasus. What is that on the ground?" asked Tigressa. Some kind of magic circle that powers the radio station. You can ask Ivy about that also, said Pegasus. Now lets go see if Zatsuky and Carmen are home, I am sure they would love to meet you two."

"Okay that place ahead of us is Carmen and Zatsuky's place, said Pegasus. They are two heros that defended Fae Land back when things were very dangerous around Fae Land." "Heroes, so what did they do to become heroes?" asked Tigressa. "They battled against evil of course. Carmen is a dragon slayer that can do amazing things with a sword and Zatsuky has a sword that is enchanted and can kill just about anything," said Pegasus. "Dragons, swords, what are these things?" asked Tigressa. "Wow you really did grow up secluded in that jungle, said Pegasus. A dragon is like a huge lizard with big wings and blows fire out of its mouth. Very nasty creatures and hard to kill but Carmen has no problem with them, and even killed two at a time once. A sword is like a big long knife but very sharp capable of cutting off a person's head with one swing. These two girls along with bunch of others, protected Fae Land from being invaded for the longest time. Now there is peace mostly because of the heros so it is important to respect what they did for everyone here and be nice to them." "You hear that Shasta, be extra nice to these two girls," said Tigressa. "So Shasta can understand everything you say?" asked Pegasus. "Yep and what you say plus anyone else. She just can't talk, but I can understand her." "Okay here we are and there is Zatsuky doing some exercises as always," said Pegasus. They walked up to Zatsuky that was doing pushups. "Hi Zatsuky, I want you to meet a couple of friends," said Pegasus. "Zatsuky looked up and saw Shasta first and jumped to her feet. "Wow, that is one big ass tiger," said Zatsuky. "Don't worry Shasta is very tame and very smart, said Pegasus. They are very new to Fae Land." Tigressa got off of Shasta and walked up to Zatsuky. "It is an honor for me to meet one of the brave heroes that protected this country from evil. My name is Tigressa and this is my friend Shasta." "Well I like you already, said Zatsuky. My aren't you a tall one, even taller than me and look at those legs of yours so strong looking. Upper body shows you are a very strong girl like an amazon. So your Shasta is tame?" "Yes very friendly and won't hurt anyone here," said Tigressa. "She will protect you though I am assuming, she looks quite powerful," said Zatsuky. "Yes we look after each other," said Tigressa. Zatsuky went down on one knee and had a close look Shasta. "You have beautiful markings and eyes that show that you are very intelligent," said Zatsuky. Shasta gave Zatsuky a big lick on her face. "Wow that is the first time I have been licked by a tiger, actually I have never been this close to one before. "Let me call Carmen out. She has to see you two. "Carmen, come out here and check out the new girl and her tiger", yelled Zatsuky. In a moment Carmen came out. "Did you say Tiger. Oh my god a real tiger and a big one at that," said Carmen. "Yep isn't she gorgeous, she just licked my face," said Zatsuky. "She is gorgeous, said Carmen. And who is the pretty tiger lady?" "I am Tigressa, it is an honor to meet a girl that can kill two dragons at once with just a sword. You must be very brave." Carmen looked at Zatsuky. "Quite the introduction and greeting, don't you think," said Zatsuky. "Best one ever, said Carmen. Wow are you ever pretty and tall. I am just a small girl." "Small but powerful and very pretty too," said Tigressa. "See Carmen size means very little when you can swing a sword like you," said Zatsuky. "Oh size is very important in the jungle, said Tigressa. Elephants are huge and around ten thousand pounds. They are afraid of nothing. Tigers are too smart to even try and attack one even if there are a bunch of tigers. Lions on the other hand think they are the best and will try to take down an elephant but they always end up running away or being crushed. There is not one safe place on an elephant that anything attacking them will be safe. That snout can swing around so fast and smash into a lion breaking every bone it's body or most of them." "So you have seen this happen, before?" asked Zatsuky. "Yep lots of times, elephants are my friends. They like to give me rides and shower me in the ponds, said Tigressa. I am going to really miss them." Yet you left the jungle to come here, why?" asked Carmen. "The jungle has lots of dangers in it also like big snakes and nasty insects, said Tigressa. The pixies told me there was a land of magic and wonder in the north so I took Shasta with me and we headed out unaware that people outside of the jungle would be afraid of us then began to hunt us down. We ran away so much that I lost my way back to the jungle and just fell asleep crying one night. When I woke up I found myself just outside of Fae Land. That is when I met Alieta. The first person I ever met that wasn't afraid of me and Shasta plus was so kind too. I didn't even know she was the Queen yet but now I can see why she is." "That was an amazing story, said Carmen, the best I have heard in a long time."

"I bet you have lots of cool jungle stories that you can tell us," said Carmen. "Yes, I have scary ones and happy ones, which do you like best?" asked Tigressa. "Both," said Zatsuky and Carmen at the same time. "Well it will be supper time soon so you have to come back and sit with us and we will share some of our stories with you. We have a lot of amazing stories too but mostly scary though but they all have happy endings," said Zatsuky. "Okay, I would like that," said Tigressa. "Where are you going next?" asked Carmen. "I want them to meet Tillia, said Pegasus. They have never seen a unicorn before and Tillia is the best one." "Good idea and she has lots of stories too," said Carmen. "Okay let's get going then," said Pegasus. "Okay bye, see you two later, said Tigressa. Then she got on Shasta and they rode off. "Now that is so cool being able to ride a tiger," said Carmen. "I agree, we should get a tiger too," said Zatsuky. "I don't think so, said Carmen. Do you really want to take care of a wild tiger, feed it raw meat every day and hope it never gets mad at you?" "No your right, I can just imagine how much a tiger eats. I can't even cook that good yet, said Zatsuky. I doubt Ktara would bring us over supper for a tiger too."

"Okay that place belongs to Ktara but she is not home right now seeing she has a store now." Ya Yeanny brought me there, said Tigressa. We had cake and ice cream plus she bought me a cake she made. Best tasting food I have ever eaten." "Yes I bet it was, said Pegasus. You sure have done a lot today for being the first day in Fae Land." "Yep but we will go home after meeting Tillia, said Tigressa. I am starting to get tired. Shasta had a nap already but she usually has a few during the day so she will be getting tired soon too." "Okay well not far now, Ivy's place is just around the corner," said Pegasus. The three of them rounded the corner then walked up to the house. Okay Tillia is out back. You two stay right here and I will get her. Now remember she is very magical," said Pegasus. "Magical how?" asked Tigressa. "You will see when you meet her, said Pegasus. He went around to the back yard and got Tillia to come out front. "See, a tiger girl and a real tiger, just as I told you," said Pegasus. "Yes I see that, said Tillia. Let me have a look at you two first. Tillia look straight into Tigressa's eyes. Then did the same to Shasta. "My you two are just filled with pixie magic, what are your names?" asked Tillia. "I am Tigressa and this is Shasta. You are so pretty." "Well thank you dear, you two are quite the lookers too. "So Shasta can't talk yet?" asked Tillia. "No but she understands what everyone says to her," said Tigressa. "Yes I can tell. She talks to you through the connection you both have, said Tillia. That is all you need. Jungle tigers are so majestic looking and extremely smart. You are a mixed breed which explains your appearance. You wear those stripes nicely." "So I am half tiger and half human?" asked Tigressa. "No not really, you are mostly elf which is dominate making it possible for you to have a soul but the tiger in you runs strong in your veins." "I don't really understand that," said Tigressa. "It is nothing for you to concern yourself about, said Tillia. You are who you are so just enjoy life. Take good care of Shasta, she will serve you well, I am sure of that. So Pegasus, what do you say we head over to the grassy plains and get some exercise before supper." "Okay, sounds good to me, said Pegasus. You two know how to find you way back home?" "Yep no problem, said Tigressa. Just straight up and turn left." "Yes but if you just go down the yard and go past Sandy Lake on your right, that brings you to the place just in time for supper, said Pegasus." "Really we are that close to the palace? asked Tigressa. "Yep, five minutes as the tiger runs. Okay let's go," said Pegasus, then he took flight with Tillia following right behind him on the ground.

"Let's get going too Shasta, I am pretty hungry now and I don't know how to cook yet so eating at the palace again sounds good to me." Shasta stood up and Tigressa rode her around the corner but when they saw Sandy Lake they stopped. "Now this is beautiful, said Tigressa. Look at that waterfall. I bet I can climb up that small mountain and dive in. Looks shallow enough out front for us both to play in too. Okay maybe tomorrow, lets go." When they past the lake Tigressa saw the palace with lots of people outside already eating. They rode up to Alieta and Ginger. "Everyone is eating outside! Are we too late to have something?" asked Tigressa. "Well don't you look very nice now, said Alieta. No Tulip and Lilly are still here. So how has your day been?" "Wonderful! Yeanny took me shopping then after Shasta had a nap we went out looking for other animals and Pegasus flew down." "Really so you went out exploring then," said Ginger. "Yep but we planned on just looking around for other animals but Pegasus brought us to meet Carman and Zatsuky then we went to meet Tillia," said Tigressa. "So how did it go with Carmen and Zatsuky?" asked Alieta. They were very nice and want us to come back soon to tell them some of my stories from in the jungle and they will tell me some of their stories," said Tigressa. "Sounds like it went well then," said Alieta. She waved over Tulip. "So this is what you two look like, said Tulip. Ivy tried describing you to me but when she said a tiger lady and a tiger, that meant nothing to me. I've never seen a tiger before." So what do you think now that you have seen them?" asked Alieta. "Both of them are very beautiful. They just added a bit more class to Fae Land," said Tulip. "Yes I agree. So they need some supper too, said Alieta. Give Tigressa today's special and I think Shasta eats just raw meat." Oscar flew over. "What about me, I eat raw meat too." "Alright, raw is very easy," said Tulip. "Put out your hands Tigressa." Tulip made her wand appear and made the hamburg special for her then a small plate with a chunk of red meat on it for Oscar on the couch. "How much does a tiger eat? asked Tulip. "Around three pounds of meat is good enough, said Tigressa. I gave her a snack after her nap so normally she will eat four pounds." "Wow, that is a hearty appetite, said Tulip. Here you go then" and she made two big chunks of beef steak on a plate. "There, now let me know if you want a desert when you are done," said Tulip then flew back over to the table. "Wow that is a lot of meat she gave Shasta," said Oscar. "No that is about right for her, said Tigressa. Usually she only eats once or twice a day but it has been a very busy day for us here." "Why didn't Tulip ask if I wanted desert when I was finished?" asked Oscar. "Well that is a pretty big piece of meat she gave you, said Tigressa. Are you going to be able to finish all of that?" "Maybe not we will see," said Oscar. "Well if you finish it and you are still hungry I am sure Tulip will make a desert for you too, said Tigressa. What do owls eat for desert?" "I don't know, I have never had a desert before," said Oscar. Tigressa smiled and began to eat her hamburger.

After they finished eating Tigressa asked Oscar if he wanted some desert now. "No I am stuffed, said Oscar. "See your eyes are bigger than your stomach," said Tigressa. "Yep, just about," said Oscar. "Well I am going to thank Tulip then we are going home," said Tigressa. "Okay see you tomorrow?" asked Oscar. "Maybe, not sure yet. I never plan ahead to the next day seeing what ever is in the future is unwritten yet," said Tigressa. "Nice one, I am going to remember that saying," said Oscar. Tigressa thanked Tulip then said goodbye to Alieta and Ginger then rode off. "There she goes, said Ginger, I wonder what she is going to do here tomorrow." "She said she doesn't plan the next day because the future is unwritten," said Oscar. "She said that?" asked Alieta. "Yep those were her own words, I like them," said Oscar. " Something like I think, every day something new seems to happen here. Well whatever she gets up to tomorrow she seems to be fitting in very nicely. Surprisingly so is Shasta," said Alieta. "Once they got home, Tigressa saw a small bag on her bed. She looked in it and pulled out some clothing that was very light and soft. There was a note that said it is what girls wear when going to bed and it was signed by Yeanny. Tigressa quickly got undressed and put on the panties and nightie. "Wow I can barely feel it on me, said Tigressa. Pretty too, what do you think Shasta, do you like it? Shasta smiled. "No you don't need one too, said Tigressa. Tigers do not need to wear clothes. Anyways let's get a good night sleep, tomorrow is another day and there is still a lot of land out there to explore." Then she laid down on the bed and Shasta laid down on the carpet beside the bed then they both went to sleep.
