The two of them headed into the opening in the jungle and when they reached the trees things got a bit tight for Tigressa. "Looks like we are going to have to find another way around these trees, said Lily. I can fly over them but I don't want to go alone," said Lily. "You won't have to, said Tigressa, watch this. She started to climb up a tree at a remarkable speed then when she found a strong enough vine she grabbed it then swung over to the next tree. "Hey that looks like fun," said Lily. "It is, I did this all the time in my old jungle," said Tigressa. She found another vine then once again swung to another tree and continued to do this with Lily flying beside her until the trees thinned out enough so she could walk again. "There, no trees are going to stop me passing," said Tigressa. "I saw that, you are like a jungle girl, where did you learn that trick?" asked Lily. "The chimpanzees taught me, said Tigressa. It is how they get around without being in danger on the ground. Okay, let's find that clearing with the pond." As they walked along birds of many colours kept flying down to see them then flew away. "So many different kinds of birds and so colourful too. I didn't know there were that many different types," said Lily. "Those are mostly Song Birds, there are lots more kinds than just them, said Tigressa. Look there is a white Toucan, they like to be around water so we must be getting close to the pond." They walked for a few more minutes then came to the pond. "Well look who it is, said Tigressa. Looks like we found out where Blinky likes to hang out." "That is Blinky, she is not scary at all like Robby was," said Lily. Tigressa walked up to the edge of the pond while Lily flew up for a closer look. "Hi Blinky, nice to see you again, said Tigressa. Is this you favorite spot in the jungle? It looks like a very nice place." What did she say?" asked Lily. "She said this is her home but wants to know who you are, said Tigressa. Get closer and say hello to Blinky, she can understand you for the most part." "Hello Blinky, I am Lily, you are so pretty, I love your spots and your pretty big eyes," said Lily. Blinky smiled and started blinking a bit. "Does that mean she likes me?" asked Lily. "Probably, give her something to eat, like a carrot, said Tigressa. Horses like carrots so she should too and that is something that doesn't grow in a jungle very much." Lily made a big carrot appear in her hand then showed it to Blinky. She took a smell of it then bit a chunk off. "Yep she likes carrots, said Lily. Give her the rest of it then fly down over there by that tree and make a few more on the ground for her, said Tigressa. That will be a nice breakfast for her." "Okay and a couple ripe apples to go with them," said Lily.

Look she is so gentle taking the apples right out of my hand," said Lily. "She doesn't want to hurt you that's all, said Tigressa. Giraffes are very graceful and gentle." "Well looks like she is hungry so I will make a basket full of apples for her, "said Lily. When she made the basket of apples, Blinky's eyes opened wide. She moved out of the pond some so her front legs were on dry land. Lily grabbed another apple and offered it to Blinky that quickly took it out of Lily's hand and began chewing on it. "She really likes these apples, said Lily. Should I make an apple tree for her here?" "No, apple trees are not found in the jungle and could upset the balance of the jungle," said Tigressa. "Why is that, It is just one tree," said Lily. Yes at first but apples have seeds in them and what if say a monkey finds the tree and takes an apple and eats it somewhere else leaving the core on the grown. That will start at least another tree and who knows how many will begin to grow over time. If apple trees were meant to grow in a Jungle then there would be apple trees in these clearings but there isn't. There is a fragile balance in a jungle between the environment, the plant life and the animals that live in a jungle. No one should ever mess with that balance." "Oh, so should I take away the basket of apples?" asked Lily. "No they are well hidden and Blinky will have them all gone by tomorrow plus she is eating the core also. said Tigressa. Looks like this section of the jungle is not that dense with trees so say goodbye to Blinky and let's explore a bit more around here."

They continued to walk through the clearing and came upon a hilly area that went down into a small valley with some trees at the bottom and plants. "Now I have never seen a jungle look like this before, said Tigressa. This is more like a clearing in a forest, we haven't come across any cliffs yet either." Well I will fly up and see how big this clearing is and where the big trees start again," said Lily. She flew up nice and high and looked around then came back down. "So what did you see?" asked Tigressa. "The clearing is odd shaped but not really big, said Lily. It looks like the jungle continues all around it, said Lily. The thing is, I can't see where the jungle ends in any direction, including where we came from where Shasta is laying down waiting for us. You could see that far?" asked Tigressa. "Yep but it really isn't that far back. A big tiger laying on the ground sticks out a lot," said Lily. "Okay then lets head down to that small valley and see what is going on there, said Tigressa. Lets enjoy the open area while we can." As they walked down the slope they began to hear birds singing and a humming sound. "Birds are down in those trees, that is for sure, said Tigressa. Sounds like Songbirds, they come in all different colours and sizes. What is that humming sound?" asked Lily. "Could be Hummingbirds but awfully loud for them seeing they are so small," said Tigressa. They continued down the slope until they got to some flat land with weeds growing all over the place. Now I can just hear that humming sound," said Lily. "I guess the Songbirds have seen us and are just being quiet but yes that humming is getting louder," said Tigressa. In a moment a bigger than usual Hummingbird flew out from behind a tree and stopped inches from Tigressa's face. "Wow that is loud now, it's wings are just a blur,"said Lily. Pretty coloured feathers though." Another Hummingbird flew out from behind another tree and stopped just inches from Lily's face. "These are the two biggest Hummingbirds I have ever seen, said Tigressa. Normally I could hold two of them in the palm of my hand." Suddenly the two birds switch places. "Man they can move fast," said Lily. "Yep their wings flap so fast it makes that humming sound and allows them to hover and dart around real fast, said Tigressa. Looks like they are not used to seeing people in here so they are checking us out. Lily looked at the tree where the first bird came out from and saw someone duck behind it. "Hey I just saw someone. She is hiding behind that tree. "Really, Toco said just animals and birds lived in here," said Tigressa. Well all I saw was her head but she didn't look like any animal or bird," said Lily. Both birds flew off fast towards the tree then disappeared behind it. Lily tried to fly after them but they were long gone and so was the person she saw looking at them. "There gone, just like magic, said Lily. Do Hummingbirds fly faster than a fairy?" "Not usually but those two were not normal Hummingbirds," said Tigressa.

"Why don't we try and find out where this mystery girl went, said Tigressa. Make this a real adventure." This is already a real adventure too me," said Lily. "Well yes but now we can add another thing to our adventure in the jungle, said Tigressa. There is not suppose to be anybody living in here unless that was just someone from Fae Land playing around. So what did she look like?" "I only saw her head for a couple of seconds but I did see she had blonde hair and pointed ears and I think green eyes." "Okay so there is a clue, she must be Fae if she has pointy ears. If she is on foot then she can't be that far away and then I can track her so let's get going!" said Tigressa. They headed out trying to track the mystery girl. I don't see any footprints at all," said Tigressa. "Maybe she swung from the trees like you did," said Lily. "No there are no trees like that here with vines growing on them, said Tigressa. She must have wings too is all I can think of. Lets keep going, this opening looks to be getting smaller as we move along." As they walked along, Tigressa saw a deer come out of the forest into the opening. ahead of them. "Look, be quite, that is a deer ahead of us and they scare easily," said Tigressa. "Okay, something like me then," said Lily with a smile. "Make an apple for me and I will hold it out while we slowly approach her." Lily made the apple for Tigressa and they walked towards the deer that now saw them but just stood still. They walked up slowly to the deer and once close enough Tigressa offered the apple to the deer. The deer licked it then took it out of Tigressa's hand and began to eat it. "She is very pretty, said, Lily. Those are very big horns she has." "They are called antlers and they are for defence mostly, said Tigressa. Every year they fall off then she starts growing new ones. Males have bigger and broader antlers and they shed their antlers too." "It must hurt when they come off," said Lily. "Nope not at all and they like the lighter feeling but male deer prefer to have their big antlers to show off." A loud sound was heard in the forest not far from them like a branch falling that made the deer take off. "Wow she just jumped into the forest super fast," said Lily. "Yep I told you, they are very skittish and they hop more than run like horses do," said Tigressa.

"Well that was fun while it lasted, said Tigressa. Up ahead it seems to get a bit brighter so let's head that way." They walked along some and in a few minutes they spotted a funny looking house off to the side of the clearing. "That didn't build itself, said Tigressa. Looks like we just found that girl's home." "Looks a bit like a pixie house, said Lily. Some breeds of pixies like to have homes and not live in the trees." "So you think a pixie built that, it is small enough for just pixies to live in." "Yep or a fairy, can't see why a fairy would live out in a jungle though," said Lily. "Well you go up and see if anyone is home while I stay back here behind this tree," said Tigressa. "Why me, you are bigger than me," said Lily. "Exactly and if it is a fairy or a pixie you will have more in common with her. Seeing me right away will probably just scare her." "Okay, I will do it but you come running if she grabs me and tries to pull me into that house," said Lily. "Just fly back here silly," said Tigressa. "Oh ya, that works too," said Lily. She began to fly slowly towards the house and when she reached it the girl inside came out the door and flew up to Lily fast and stopped in front of her. "What are you doing here, this is my place and you can't have it," said the girl. "Umm I don't want your home, said Lily, I have my own." "Really, where is it, I haven't seen another house anywhere in this part of jungle and I know every inch of it," said the girl. "That's because it isn't in the jungle, it is in Fae Land, outside of the jungle, said Lily. We were just exploring in the jungle when I spotted you spying on us." "I wasn't spying, I was just watching you two," said the girl. Toco mentioned something about Fae Land to me. Very wide open with very few animals. Why would anyone want to live without animals around?" asked the girl. "We do just fine, said Lily. My name is Lily a Flower Fairy." "Really a fairy? I am Haiku a Jungle Fairy. I have strong magic so don't try anything funny with me." "I have strong magic too but don't worry I won't bother you, said Lily. My friend is behind that tree back there and wants to meet you. She figured you would be afraid of her and fly away if she came here with me." I am not afraid of anything, said Haiko, except for spiders, and snakes just about any kind of insects but there are none here." "So can I wave her over?" asked Lily. "Yep, she is the striped girl I saw you with feeding Blinky, right?" asked Haiku. "Yep, she is really nice and can talk to the animals," said Lily. "Good, so can I but animals rarely have much to say. Toco likes to talk a lot though, he is funny," said Haiku. Lily smiled. "Yes so I heard."

Lily waved Tigressa over to meet Haiku. She walked up to her and said hello. Lily sat down on the bench in front of the house. "This is Tigressa she has a pet tiger that is really friendly, said Lily. Haiku is a Jungle Fairy and says she has strong magic." "Wow you are tall, do you do magic also?" asked Haiku. "No but I have friends that can do magic, I can just talk to and understand animals, said Tigressa. I used to live in a jungle so that was very useful. I made lots of animal friends there. I live in Fae Land now though." "I would never leave here to live where there are no animals, said Haiku. I am friends with all of them and every single bird. "There are some animals in Fae Land like lots of horses and two kittens so far plus Shasta, Tigressa's tiger, said Lily, There are unicorns and a flying horse too. Fae Land is a very magical place where everyone is happy most of the time." "There is magic in Fae Land, what kind of magic?" asked Haiku. Same kind as here, white magic, said Lily. It's just not as strong here." "So Haiku, what do you do in here, are there other fairies to keep you company?" asked Tigressa. "Nope just me in this part of the jungle, only need one fairy in this section though this one is getting pretty big. I just welcome the new animals and birds when they are sent here and when it is needed I make the jungle a bit bigger but it is big enough now for a long time, said Haiku. The last time we added to it I did a big addition all the way around the jungle. That took all day and we had to sleep for a long time but it's done now. There is room now for lots more birds and even the big animals like Sheba. Okay so there are more fairies here then," said Tigressa. Yep three more but they are each incharge of their own section and us fairies are very busy, well sometimes we are busy, mostly we are not busy we play with the animals mostly, fairies like to play you know. Tigressa smiled. You said the animals get sent here, what do you mean by that?" asked Tigressa. "God sends them here, just the ones that have been good. Even animals and birds that don't eat meat or fish can be bad," said Haiku. "So when they die he sends them here?" "Nope he won't do that, no one wants a bunch of dead birds and animals laying on the ground all over the place, said Haiku. After they have almost lived out their lives he judges them and if they were good and special he makes them young again I guess and sends them here. I get all the big ones mostly. Then I take them to their new spot in the jungle. So would you two like some cookies and ice cream?" I do, said Lily. It's been a while since we had breakfast." "Well ya, it is lunch time now, said Haiku. Oh so maybe I should go see how Shasta is doing, said Lily. I bet she is worried about us." "Is that the pet tiger? asked Haiku. "Yep she is my best friend," said Tigressa. Is she good or does she bite?" asked Haiku. "No she won't bite anyone, said Tigressa. Tigers are very good animals and won't bother people at all if you don't bother them." "It is a shame they have to kill to survive or I would love to have pretty tigers here in the jungle with me," said Haiku. "I can bring her here," said Lily. "How long will that take?" asked Haiku. "Just a few seconds, watch." Then Lily vanished.

Just like Lily said she returned with Shasta in a few seconds. Haiku stepped back and saw Shasta sitting looking at her straight in the face. "Oh my God, Shasta is so big, she is sitting and still taller than me. Look she is smiling!" Tigressa knelt down. "Talk to her, she must like you," said Tigressa. "Okay, hi Shasta I like you too, your so pretty," said Haiku. She thinks I am pretty too, how sweet of her to say that. I really don't know what to say to a tiger. I have not seen one for a very long time but this one has a very easy mind to read." "Where did you see one before?" asked Lily. "In a jungle I was in before I was sent here. That jungle was a regular one and not as big as this one is now. Lots of different kinds of animals in that one and mostly not very nice." Haiku looked back at Shasta. "You are one of the good ones, said Haiku. Haiku turned to Lily. You must have stronger magic than me, I couldn't bring Shasta here as fast as you just did. Do all Flower Fairies have very strong magic like you?" asked Haiku. "I am the only one but I have lots of friends now to be with," said Lily. "Okay I don't know why you would be the only one but who cares, time for cookies and ice cream," said Haiku then made a big bowl of milk for her. Let's move over here so I can set up a place for us." said Haiku. "I can make a table and chairs," said Lily. "Okay, thanks! It is kind of nice having another fairy around for a change," said Haiku.

They all moved over to an open spot then Lily looked at Haiku for a second then smiled. She made a small round table with three chairs around it. "That's perfect, how did you know that I wanted a small round table?" asked Haiku. "Lucky guess I suppose," said Lily. "Okay now everyone take a seat and I will make the ice cream and three spoons, said Haiku. They all sat down then Haiku made three spoons then waved her hand and a huge ball of chocolate ice cream appeared on the table. "Now this is the best way to eat ice cream, said Haiku. Always make more than you can eat and now that I have some guests, I made an even bigger serving." "Wow, look at it, said Tigressa. There is no way we can eat all of that. I don't think we need any cookies." "Sure we do, said Lily. Can I make them?" "Go ahead," said Haiku. Lily made a plate of chocolate chip cookies appear for everyone. "That is my favorite cookie too. Boy you sure are lucky at guessing, said Haiku. Okay let's dig in!"

The three of them ate as many cookies and as much ice cream as they could then sat back. "Wow, we barely put a dent in it," said Tigressa. "Yep that was the whole idea, said Haiku. Now this is how I get rid of the rest of it, I don't like to waste anything." She waved her hand over the remaining mound of ice cream and shrunk it down to just one spoonful then ate it. "Mmm, good to the last bite, said Haiku with a smile. So Lily how did you get Shasta here so fast? It was a type of magic I don't know about." It is called teleporting, said Lily. Most fairies can't do it seeing they can fly so fast and don't need it but I can being a Flower Fairy with stronger magic. Once I know the spot I want to go to, I just think of it and pop there. I can take only three people with me or in Shasta's case one tiger. It has to do with weight and Shasta is very heavy. I can only do that over small distances though." "That is so cool, why is your magic stronger than others magic?" asked Haiku. "It has something to do with how I was born from a flower and getting magic from the earth, said Lily. It allows me to use whatever magic is around me also like white magic and pixie dust magic when I need to make it stronger like when I made the home for the unicorns. Most of the time I just use the magic in me." "I can't use magic around me but I can do what is needed here. Creating plants in a forest and the other stuff I can do is enough for me, said Haiku. I always have to sleep for a bit after I make anything big like expanding the jungle." So do I, using magic can be exhausting," said Lily. "So there are more fairies in that Fae Land?" asked Haiku. "Yep but they live in their own forest they grew, said Lily plus I was told there are Fairy Nymphs too but I haven't seen them yet." Fairy Nymphs are nice and small like me, even smaller, said Haiku. They don't have a lot of magic, just make plants and flowers mostly. Hennie taught me alot about making plants and flowers a very, very long time ago." "Well maybe we should get back now," said Tigressa. Sakura will be wondering where we are, she loves riding Shasta." "Okay I guess, said Lily. You should come and visit us sometime. Okay I will take Shasta back to the tunnel first then I'll come back for you Tigressa." Lily went over to Shasta and teleported her first the came back and then got Tigressa. While standing outside of the tunnel Tigressa told Lily that Haiku looked a bit sad that we had to leave." "I suppose she doesn't get many people visitors in here, said Lily. I did forgot to say goodbye to her though. I should go back and do that." "Hello again, I forgot to say goodbye to you two and to come back any time," said Haiku that just flew up to them. "I was just going to go back to you and say goodbye," said Lily. "So this is that tunnel to Fae Land you mentioned?" asked Haiku. "Yep it goes to another dimension or something where Fae Land is. Lots of different kinds of people live there," said Lily. I wonder if I can go through it also, said Haiku. I may not be allowed to leave the jungle." "Allowed by who?" asked Tigresa. "Well Fillina brought me here and told me all the jobs I was responsible to do in the jungle. She said it was my new home and the last place I will have to go to," said Haiku. "We know of Fillina, she brought me and Shasta to Fae Land," said Tigressa. Well if you want to have a look at Fae Land and meet a few of our friends then just follow us and see if you can pass through the tunnel, said Lily. Won't hurt to try and if you can then you can go back when you want to." "Toco was able to go through the tunnel then get back into the jungle," said Tigessa. "Really! Okay maybe I can too but not for too long. I have lots of things to do all the time in the jungle." "Like what?" asked Lily. "Just things, I figure them out when I get bored, said Haiku. Usually who to play with next." "Well it is never boring in Fae Land, that is for sure, said Tigressa. Just follow us, you don't even have to duck down like I do." They all entered the tunnel in single file.

As they all exited the tunnel and the cave one by one, Lily looked behind her and saw Haiku was still with them. "Looks like you are allowed to come through the tunnel," said Lily. "Yep and I didn't feel a thing," said Haiku. "You were expecting to feel something?" asked Tigressa. "Well you said we were going to a different dimension, so yes but no different than walking anywhere else," said Haiku. "Okay I am heading over to Sakura and Yeanny's place to see what they are doing, said Tigressa. You two have fun." Then Tigressa got on Shasta and they ran off. "I never thought I would see someone riding a tiger," said Haiku. "Ya that is pretty cool, said Lily. So this is the Grassy Plains in Fae Land. Not much to see here. So first let me take you to the palace and maybe Alieta will be out front there." "Who is that?" asked Haiku. "She is the Queen Of Fae Land. A very pretty and kind sprite, said Lily. You will like her, everyone here does." "Okay I will follow you," said Haiku. Lily flew up with Haiku right behind her heading towards the palace grounds when they spotted someone below them. "Who is that?" asked Haiku. "Not sure, let's go down and find out," said Lily. They landed beside Hennie that was making some yellow flowers. "Hello, my name is Lily and this is my new friend Haiku." "Haiku? I know that name from somewhere, said Hennie. Let me have a look at you." Hennie got a bit closer to Haiku. "My goodness it is you Haiku, you haven't changed a bit," said Hennie. "You know me, from where?" asked Haiku. "From a very far away place in the south, centuries ago. I taught you how to make all kinds of jungle plants and flowers." "Hennie, is that you?" asked Haiku. "Yep it sure is, don't you remember me?" asked Hennie. "I do now, I just didn't recognise you out here in the wide open by yourself and your hair is longer, said Haiku. Fairy Nymphs usually work together when they are not hidden in the forest." "We still do most of the time but sometimes we come out now, at least some of us do now to decorate the land out here, said Hennie. Today I made these new yellow flowers, how do they look to you?" "Very pretty, I like them. What are they called?" asked Lily. "Not sure yet, they look a bit like Daisies but a bit different and taller," said Hennie. "I know, call them Daisylyns," said Haiku. "That is a good name for them, said Hennie. You always were good at naming flowers for me, said Hennie. So what are you doing in Fae Land? Jungle Fairies rarely come out of the jungle." "Just visiting, there is a new tunnel not far from here that is like a doorway to and from my jungle," said Haiku. "Really, you will have to show it to me sometime so I can visit you, said Hennie. I have lots of stories I can tell you." "Okay, it is just straight that way, you can't miss it, said Haiku. You can see the cave from the sky." "Good, now where are you two pretty fairies going. I didn't know Jungle Fairies worked together in the same jungle." "I am a Flower Fairy, I was just exploring the jungle with a friend when we met Haiku." "A Flower Fairy, I never heard of that kind of fairy before," said Hennie. "I am the only one so I have been told. I hatched out of a big plant with one flower pod on it," said Lily. "Really, would the flowers you are wearing be the same as the flower from that plant?" asked Hennie. "Yep this entire outfit grew in the pod with me," said Lily. "Well what do you know, I bet that was a very long time ago too, said Hennie. I made some seeds as an experiment to see if I could just toss them on the ground and then added some magic and water to make them grow. Some did a bit but they only had small flowers like you are wearing. I tried planting one seed deep in the ground to see if that would help make a bigger flower but nothing happened so I just figured it was planted too deep. I guess it just took it's own time growing. That is if it is the same plant. Those small flowers on your outfit are exactly the same as the ones that grew from the other seeds though. So a fairy born from a flower, I bet you can do some amazing things." "She can, said Haiku, she can teleport and make things plus has good luck at knowing what people want."
