Kendra was getting close to the elf village when she spotted Keiko walking with a girl that matched Alieta's description. She flew down to get a closer look. "Hey hi Kendra, long time no see, said Keiko. How are you doing, you look great as usual. I am doing good, just fixed a house and met a new friend who likes lots of space and no clutter, and never slept in a bed before plus not great at cooking." "Are you okay Keiko? You're acting hyper," said Kendra. "Ya, I just finished a box of Jessica's candies that Mirela bought for me," said Keiko. "I didn't buy them, Keiko. Fairies get candies for free," said Mirela. "Oh ya, I keep forgetting that. I must be getting old." "Fairies don't get old silly," said Kendra. "Oh ya, forgot about that too, said Keiko. So do you want me to fix you a house too, I have lots of energy now." "No, I was looking for Mirela. Alieta said she was looking to buy a house in the elf village and might let me rent a room from her, said Kendra. From what Keiko just said among many other things it sounds like you have a house now." "Well yes, I just have to get approval from Ginger first I was told, said Mirela. So you want to share the house with me?" "Well, I don't have a lot of money but just one room, and I will stay out of your way plus I will get a job to make more money," said Kendra. "Have you ever had a job before?" asked Mirela. "No never but I can learn things, I am pretty smart," said Kendra. "What do you do? asked Mirela. Things like Ivy?". "No not like Ivy, she is like a super forest sprite, said Kendra. I am just a normal forest sprite who loves to help the trees and plants." "Well that is a great job, said Mirela. A person like you should be proud of what you can do. I wish I could talk to trees and plants. I look at them and say nice things about them but I can't tell if they understand what I am saying to them." "Actually, you can, said Kendra. Especially with flowers. Just talk softly to them saying how beautiful they look and watch as the flower slowly opens wider and starts to lean towards you. Plants are living things and respond to love." "That was very beautiful, yes you can share the house with me. I don't need your money I have lots. You just have to plant and take care of the flowers around the deck Keiko built. I have never lived in a house before but it is time for a change, said Mirela." "Really, Alieta told me you are a gypsy. What is that?" asked Kendra. "Well, gypsies go back hundreds of years and never stay in one place for long. They travel around living in trailers and covered wagons. They go to a town telling people's fortunes for money but I don't do that. Then they move on to the next town. I was sick of moving around so much never making good friends so I came here where I was told all good people are welcome." "So you took charge of your own destiny like I did finally moving out of the fairy forest," said Kendra. "I guess I did," said Mirela. "I hate to interrupt you two but I just remembered I told Pixie Ginger that I was going to pick up a box of candy from Jessica, said Keiko. She told me not to be long because she had some stories to tell us. That was a long time ago so I better get back to the tree house." "Can you do me one small favor before you go?" asked Mirela. "I think so, said Keiko. "Can you make another bed in the bedroom on the other end of the room by the window for Kendra?" asked Mirela. "Sure I can do that, said Keiko. That will only take a minute. Bye for now Kendra and Gypsy Queen." Then Keiko flew back to the village. "You are a queen?" asked Kendra. "No, but that is what a lot of people call me," said Mirela.

"Where were you two going when I came down to see you?" asked Kendra. "Back to the palace to tell Ginger that Keiko fixed the log house and see what it is going to cost, said Mirela. With Keiko not here now to tell her that she made it like new and it is safe to live in now, it will be harder to explain seeing I was outside when Keiko was inside doing the repairs." "Don't worry about Ginger, she knows how good Keiko is with her wand, said Kendra. She saw the tree house she made with Amelie and couldn't believe her eyes. If you fixed a place that was falling apart then you probably will just have to pay the sixty dollar permit fee." "That's all?" asked Mirela. "Yep, everything in Fae Land is Cheap, said Kendra. Come let's head over to the palace." They walked together making plans for the house and when they reached the edge of the palace. Sakura flew up to them. "Hi Kendra, who is your friend?" asked Sakura. "This is Mirela The Gypsy Queen," said Kendra. Mirela was about to say she really wasn't a queen but Kendra nudged with her elbow, stopping her. Sakura stopped flying and put her hands behind her back. "Wow another queen, said Sakura. Well, it is nice to meet you Mirela The Gypsy Queen. Zotac and my Mom are shopping and I don't like going shopping with them, they take too long. Mom said I could come to the palace and play with Koko and Trigger. So where are you coming from?" "Keiko just fixed up a house in the elf village for Mirela and we are both going to live in it," said Kendra. "Really, we live in the elf village too, said Sakura. The very last big house closest to the town. Maybe I will come and visit. What is a gypsy?" "That is a bit of a long story, said Kendra. You should ask Alieta, she knows," said Kendra. "Okay, maybe later, said Sakura. Play first then talk, that is my rule. Bye, see you later," then Sakura flew over to where Trigger and Koko that were playing with Sabrina. "Very cute girl, why did you nudge me?" asked Mirela. "Sakura is just eight years old and gets very excited when she sees someone new, said Kendra. She will start talking very fast asking questions that you don't have time to answer before she asks another. I told her you are a queen because she respects queens like Alieta whom she considers a second mother. Queens and princesses, she considers very important to Fae Land and calms right down and talks normally. She can be very funny but I figured it would be best to stop her before she started flying around you talking fast making you wonder what the heck is going on. Sakura is adorable and the only one of her kind. Everyone in Fae Land loves her. She will be busy playing for a while which will give us time to talk to Alieta and Ginger." "You are very smart, being clever, and not hurting her feelings. I believe we are going to be a good team," said Mirela.

Mirela and Kendra headed towards Alieta. When they passed Sakura playing with Sabrina, Koko, and Trigger, they stopped for a second. "I have never seen animals like that before, said Mirela. Looks like a tiger cub and a baby dragon." "I have never seen them before either but you get used to seeing unusual things here in Fae Land," said Kendra. "They are very cute though," said Mirela. "We best get moving before they notice us looking at them or we will have to go play with them too probably," said Kendra. "So you don't like playing with kids?" asked Mirela. "I love children but business before pleasure. We can play with them after we talk to Alieta over there," said Kendra. "Okay, smart thinking," said Mirela. When they reached Alieta, she asked them why they were back so soon. "Well Keiko fixed up an old log house and made it like new again inside and out," said Mirela. "Really, Keiko was in the elf village?" asked Alieta. "Not at first but I met her on the way there. She was coming here to get some candies from you," said Mirela. "But candies are free to all the fairies at the factory," said Alieta. "I know that now but Keiko is very forgetful so I was going to buy her some but that is when I met Jessica and she gave Keiko a free box of candies," said Mirela. "Okay, so Keiko fixed up a house for you, said Alieta. Knowing Keiko it must look amazing." "It is, inside and out plus she made some furniture for me and added cupboards and appliances in the kitchen, said Mirela. Two beds upstairs too. I met Kendra on the way back here and she is going to be living in the house with me. She is wonderful and loves nature too. I just need to talk to Ginger about how much I need to pay. That is what the neighbor told me." "Well, Ginger is not here right now and will be gone most of the day but seeing you two are all set up, you can pay for the permit later. She will be happy to hear a run down house is livable again." "Okay, I can pay her whenever she wants," said Mirela. "So what are you going to do now?" asked Alieta. "Well, this is all I have to wear. I traveled light here so I need to buy some new clothes," said Mirela. "You will need to ride your horse to town, said Alieta. It is too far to walk to." "I will, Kendra has wings so she can fly beside me then show me where all the clothing stores are," said Mirela. "I have never been to the town but I know where it is, am sure we can find a place with clothes," said Kendra. "Really, you always wear what you have on now?" asked Mirela. "Yep, except I have a bunch of them. This is what forest sprites wear, said Kendra. It is made of all-natural fibers and fits me perfectly. I like it." "Oh it definitely suits you and looks very good on you," said Mirela. "Yep, Ivy and her sister Sara dress the same, it is just a forest sprite thing," said Kendra. "Okay Idon't need to dress like a gypse anymore, you can tell me what is good to wear in Fae Land," said Mirela. Just buy what you like and don't worry about what other people are wearing," said Alieta. "Okay, I will, said Mirela. I will be right back, I have to get my horse." Then Mirela headed to the stable. "So you are okay living with a gypsy girl?" asked Alieta. "Yep she is really nice and is a bit like me, said Kendra. I used to live outside in the woods all the time. Just didn't travel all over the place." "Have you seen the house yet? asked Alieta. "Nope, but anything will be better than living in that small house the fairies built for me," said Kendra. "It will, said Alieta. I am sure you're in for a big surprise."

Mirela came back on her horse. "Okay ready to go?" asked Mirela. "Yep, let's go," said Kendra. "Great, so you know where the town is right?" asked Mirela. "Sort of, I flew past the town a few times," said Kendra. "Good, then let's go, said Mirela. Lead the way." Then the two of them left. "Great, the blind leading the blind. It will be interesting to see what they buy if they find the clothing store, thought Alieta. There is only one in the entire town and it is not that big. Most of the humans go to the north town or Cumberland for clothes." "Look up ahead that looks like the town," said Mirela. "Yep looks like it, said Kendra. I knew it was in this general area." "Okay let's check it out," said Mirela. When they reached the town, they were stopped by a lady. "Hello, you have to leave your horse here with us. No horses are allowed in the town unless doing deliveries." "Okay," said Mirela then got off the horse. "That will be one dollar," said the lady. "What for?" asked Mirela. "For taking care of your horse while you are shopping," said the lady. "Okay that sounds fair," said Mirela. She took out her sack of money and pulled out a ten-dollar coin. "The smallest I have is this," said Mirela. "That is fine, I have change," said the lady then gave Mirela nine dollars in change. "Thank you, said Mirela. Have a nice day. So where do we start?" "Beats me, let's ask someone," said Kendra. "There is a woman over there with bags. She should know. said Mirela. Excuse me miss, do you know where the clothing stores are?" "Well yes but there is only one, said the lady. It is up this street some and on the right. My another forest sprite. I thought Ivy and Sara were the only forest sprites in Fae Land. "Nope, I am Ivy's friend. We grew up together, said Kendra. I just have never been in this town before." "Well, it is nice to meet you both, happy shopping," said the lady then walked away. "She was very nice," said Mirela. "Yes she was, said Kendra. She liked your skirt too." "You can read people too?" asked Mirela. "All forest sprites can read people, just not as deep as Ivy can, said Kendra. It helps when communicating with the trees and plants." "Okay let's go to that store," said Mirela. Once they reached the clothing store and were inside Mirela started looking through all the racks. "This stuff is all fine but not really what I would like to wear," said Mirela. The store attendant noticed the two of them and walked over. "Hello, can I help you find something," she asked. "Maybe, all I see is t-shirts and sweaters on these racks plus shorts and pants on the wall over there, said Mirela. I was hoping to find something not so common," said Mirela. "Well what would you like to wear," asked the girl. "Something more colourful and fancy. Even a bit sexy," said Mirela. "Well follow me into the side room, that is where we keep the fancy and night clothing," said the girl. "Now this is more like it," said Mirela, "Yes the clothing here is a bit more expensive but well worth it, said the girl. Try on what you like in that change room over there." "Okay I like this top and this, and I really like this too," said Mirela. "You don't have to buy everything today, said Kendra. You can come back again another day." "I know but I need a few different looks right now, said Mirela. Plus I need some night clothes to sleep in." "I just sleep in the nude," said Kendra. "Well that is fine I suppose but what if you have to get up in a hurry in the middle of the night. You don't want to answer the door naked and look at these nighties. So soft and silky, feel one." "It does feel really nice," said Kendra. "Okay I will take the red one and you will have the green one. My treat. Now hang on to this stuff while I try this outfit on," said Mirela.

Mirela changed into the new outfit she liked the best and then came out of the change room. "What do you think?" asked Mirela. "I like it, said Kendra. It is definitely you. Nice fit and a bit sexy too." "Yep I like it too and feels good on me, said Mirela. Okay let me pay for this stuff then I can show you our new house." "Okay but aren't you going the change back first?" asked Kendra. "Nope, I am leaving this on. I want to show it off to everyone," said Mirela. "Who is everyone?" asked Kendra. "You know people around, well just Alieta and Ivy mostly. Ivy did say she was coming back to the palace for lunch." Kendra giggled. "Don't worry there will be plenty of people there to show off your new hot outfit," said Kendra. "Do you really think it is hot?" asked Mirela. "Yep I do, said Kendra. You look great." "Thanks, okay time to check out," said Mirela. After Mirela paid for the clothes they went back to get her horse and then headed back towards the elf village. They past Sakura's place then the candy factory. "Okay it is not far from here, said Mirela. It is just up ahead close to the woods and down a bit." "So we are in the oldest part of the elf village then," said Kendra. "I guess so but there is lots of space between houses there and the girl that lives next door has a nice place," said Mirela. In a few more minutes they reached the log house. Mirela jumped off her horse then ran up the stairs and put the bag of clothes down on the deck. "Okay here it is, do you like it?" asked Mirela. "I love it and what a big deck. It goes all the way around the house," said Kendra. "Yep, Keiko said Pixie Ginger loves her deck so she made one for me too. Come on up and have a look inside," said Mirela. "Right behind you Mirela," said Kendra.

After Mirela showed Kendra the house inside, Mirela left the bag of clothes on the floor of the bedroom. "I guess I should have got Keiko to make something to put the clothes in," said Mirela. "Ya it is called a dresser, said Kendra. I can get Lilly to come and make one for us and maybe a few other things." "Like what?" asked Mirela. "You know like cups and dishes, food and some deck chairs to sit on," said Kendra. "So Lilly is a fairy too?" asked Mirela. "Yes but not a Garson fairy, said Kendra. Keiko can make some cooked food but regular fairies can make all kinds of stuff. Lilly is the best healer and is also great at making furniture and decorating. Anyway let's head back to the palace, it will be lunchtime there soon." When they reached the palace they went on either side of Alieta. "So what do you think of my new outfit?" asked Mirela. "That looks very pretty on you, said Alieta. Suits you perfectly." Yep and not too revealing," said Mirela. "So did you show Kendra the house yet?" "Yep sure did," said Mirela. "How do you like it Kendra?" asked Alieta. "It is amazing, said Kendra. The house looks a bit small from the outside but when you go inside the rooms are very big. There is a huge deck that goes around the entire house too plus off to the side. It is perfect, I just got to get Lilly to make a dresser for us plus some dishes and food. A few deck chairs too." "Well Lilly is the best at that stuff, said Alieta. You see that girl over there that just came out of the palace?" "The pretty brunette girl, ya I see her," said Mirela. "Well, that is Phonixa and she is twenty-two years old and she has a twin sister, said Alieta. The two of them go to town all the time and just love to shop. They are known as the trend setters among human girls when it comes to clothing. Get her opinion of your new outfit. She will tell you what she thinks of it and won't tell any lies." "So do you think she will like my outfit?" asked Mirela. "Go find out, I think she will like it," said Alieta. "Yep you wanted to show off your new outfit so show the top critic in Fae Land," said Kendra. "Okay, now I am nervous," said Mirela. "Just be yourself. Phonixa is a very nice girl," said Alieta.

Mirela walked over to Phonixa. "Hello, my name is Mirela. I just got here this morning and don't know very many people." "How nice, my name is Phonixa. Very nice to meet you. That outfit you are wearing is kicking." "Is kicking good?" asked Mirela. "Oh ya, very good. It looks so hot on you, said Phonixa. I love the shorts the best, very stylish. Red is my favorite colour too. So where are you from?" "Well I am a gypsy so I am really not from anywhere," said Mirela. "No way, a real gypsy?" asked Phonixa. "Yes I am a real gypsy," said Mirela. "Wow, I have never met a real gypsy before, just read about them in books. I guess the scarf hiding the top of your head is a gypsy thing," said Phonixa. "I like my scarf, I wear it all the time, except when I go to sleep," said Mirela. "Ya it kind of looks good on you but I would never wear one hiding my hair, said Phonixa. So are going to be living in the palace?" "No Keiko fixed up an old house for me in the elf village, said Mirela. Kendra and I are going to live together in it." "Really, Kendra and you, that is so awesome. She is so cool and smart, very strong, and almost as pretty as Ivy, said Phonixa. She wears a super sexy outfit like Ivy also. Too sexy for me to wear in pubic but that is how forests sprites dress. Well here comes Tulip and Lilly so it is lunchtime. I have to get my sister inside the palace. She will freak out when I tell her a real gypsy girl is living in Fae Land now. Talk to you in a bit. Repellia is going to want to meet you too."

Kendra saw Lilly and Tulip coming so she walked over in front of the steps. When they both landed Kendra called Lilly over. "Hi Kendra, what do you want?" asked Lilly. "I need a favor from you," said Kendra. "Okay, what kind of favor?" asked Lilly. "I need you to go into the elf village with me after lunch and make a few things in the house Mirela and I will be living in," said Kendra. "What is wrong with the place we made for you?" asked Lilly. "Nothing, but the pixies in there are begining to drive me nuts," said Kendra. I need to get out and meet people and do stuff like when Mirela and I went shopping together. That was the most fun I have had in a long time." "So Mirela is the Gypse Queen Ivy told us about, said Lilly. She sounds very nice." "Yes she is and we get along perfectly," said Kendra. "Okay so what do you need done to the house?" asked Lilly. "Not much. Keiko fixed up a old log house for Mirela and added some furniture but forgot to put a dresser in the bedroom for me plus there is no cups, plates, pots or pans in the kitchen plus their is no food. Mirela likes the open space and very little clutter, so no more furniture is needed except the dresser." "Okay, Keiko can be forgetful but makes some very nice homes with her wand that don't need magic to hold it together. "I will come with you after lunch," said Lilly. "Great all I will have to do later is get the rest of my outfits from in the old place." "Okay I better get to work with Tulip," said Lilly.

In Haven, Jannice was talking to her young daughter, Jessie who has been wanting to go to the palace ever since she heard there were fairies, pixies and sprites there. "Okay, so what if we get there and there are no fairies and sprites to be seen anywhere? asked Jannice. What if they are all in the forest sleeping." "Why would they be sleeping in the middle of the day? asked Jessie. Liza said she met Alieta and she is a sprite, the queen wouldn't be sleeping now." "Well she might be busy in the palace," said Jannice. "Maybe but maybe she is not busy," said Jessie. Jannice smiled. "Maybe your right, I would like to meet the Queen also, said Jannice. Now this is a much longer ride than just going to town to go shopping. It will take at least an hour, maybe two to get there. I am not even sure where the palace is." "We can ask someone, said Jessie. Liza said there are lots of elves at the palace too." "Well there probably is, said Jannice but we have to find the palace first. Hopefully, we will see someone on the way there that knows where it is. Okay, do you have to go to the bathroom?" "Um, I'm not sure, said Jessie. "Not sure means you do, said Jannice. Come back home with me and go to the bathroom then we will get my horse and head out to the palace."

They were riding for about forty five minutes and passed the town but still no sign of the palace. "Mom, my bum is getting sore, can we stop for a bit and rest?" asked Jessie. "Good idea dear," said Jannice. They got off the horse and looked around. "Nothing but grass out here, said Jannice. A good place for horses to eat." "Mom look way over there, it looks like someone doing something to the ground," said Jessie. "You can see that far?" asked Jannice. "Yep, I have big eyes. Maybe they will know where the palace is," said Jessie. Okay let's walk the horse over there," said Jannice. When they got closer, they could now clearly see that it was a little girl. "Look Mom she has wings! Must be a fairy," said Jessie. "I believe you are right, said Jannice. Let's go talk to her but go slowly. We don't want to scare her away." They slowly walked up to her and Jannice said hello. "Hi, I can't seem to do it yet. Do you know how to make a new kind of flower? asked the fairy. My Mom told me to practice out here where there was lots of room." "Well no we don't know how to make plants, said Jannice. What is your name?" Nessie, I need Sakura out here with me. The last time we were out here making flowers she told me how to focus and make a flower I was thinking of so who are you two?" "I am Jannice and this is my daughter Jessie". "You have pretty wings, said Jessie" "Thanks you have big pretty eyes, said Nessie. All I can make is daisies and tulips, watch." Nessie tried again then another tulip popped out of the ground. "That is so neat," said Jessie. "Ya, I guess it is but it wasn't supposed to be a tulip, said Nessie. So what are you two doing out here?" "We are going to the palace, said Jessie. We are just resting our bums. Nessie began to giggle. "You said bum, that is funny. So why are you going to the palace?" asked Nessie. "We have never been there before and want to see if anyone is there, said Jannice. Do you know where it is?" "Yep sure do," said Nessie then made another tulip. "Darn, another tulip." "So the palace, how do we get there?" asked Jannice. "Oh ya, the palace. It is around here somewhere, said Nissie. Lets see, now I remember. I usually follow Sakura to the palace. She flies fast so I don't get to see much around me when going there." "So you don't know how to get there then?" asked Jannice. "Yes I do, said Nessie. You see those mountains way over there." "Yes I see them," said Jannice. "Well, you can't see the palace because it is on the other side of the mountains. I would come with you because it is always fun there but Mom wants me to practice," said Nissie. "Where is your mother?" asked Jannice. "I don't know, around somewhere. She is the best at making new plants," said Nessie. "Well nice meeting you Nessie. Good luck with the flowers, said Jannice. You ready to go Jessie." "Yep, my bum isn't sore anymore," said Jessie. Nessie giggled again. Say hello to Alieta for me. Maybe I will go to the palace later and play with you, I love playing". Jannice put Jessie on the horse and then got on behind her. "Bye Nessie, those tulips are very pretty," said Jessie then they rode away. Nessie smiled then went back to trying to make a new flower.
