When Carmen finished her ice cream she asked Zenith if they wanted to come back outside with her. "No, I want to try that blue berry ice cream now, said Zenith. I love blueberries." "Me too," said Sarah. "Okay but don't eat too much ice cream or it will upset your stomach," said Carmen. "Why is that?" asked Zenith. "Well just like anything you eat, if you overeat it will make your stomach uncomfortable for a while," said Carmen. "Oh okay we will just have one more bowl each and then I want to look around in this palace, there are paths all over the place," said Zenith. "Well they are called hallways and maybe you should have someone show you around," said Carmen. "I will if I meet someone," said Zenith. "You will, there are lots of elves in here working all the time, said Carmen. I am going out to see if Alieta is finished talking to Jazmen yet." "Okay bye, said Zenith. When Carmen got outside she saw Ginger outside. "Hi Ginger, how are things?" asked Carmen. "Different, things are different but still good. Nice outfit," said Ginger. "Ya, I bought it yesterday for when I go running. It is cooler and more streamline," said Carmen. "So what were you doing inside?" asked Ginger. "I took Zenith and her baby girl to the dining room to have some ice cream, said Carmen. They wanted to stay and try a different flavor but I wanted to see if Alieta was finished talking with Jazmen. That Zenith is gorgeous, with perfect very pretty hair and flawless skin even her fingernails and toenails are pretty. I haven't seen any elf here that looks as pretty as she does. How is that possible when she lived in a forest." "I don't know but Alieta told me that Sarah is going to become a goddess when she gets older like Ivy," said Ginger. "Ivy is no god, she is powerful inside but nothing like Fillina," said Carmen. "No, I said a goddess, said Ginger. Fillina told Alieta that a goddess is a mortal girl that has a great inner power and can influence people, changing the course of the future and spreads love to everyone making them happy." "Okay that is Ivy for sure, said Carmen. So Sarah is going to be like that too when she grows up?" "Yes but she has a bigger job to do, said Ginger. Something about ridding the world of all evil and starting a new era." "Wow, that is a big job. I'll stick to being a dragon slayer and Fae Land hero," said Carmen. "Well there is a big dragon in Paxon right now so stay away from him," said Ginger. "Really, do you want me to kill it?" asked Carmen. "No, Fillina said he is like a friendly giant and won't hurt anyone here, said Ginger. Besides the way Jazmen described this dragon you couldn't even put a nick on him. Morgron is his name and is the size of a small mountain." "Holy crap, that is big, said Carmen. Good thing he is on our side." "He will be teaming up with Sarah when she comes of age. In the meantime he is recharging and sleeping in Paxon," said Ginger. "Recharging for what?" asked Carmen. "Not sure but Fillina said nothing bad will come in from the west with him around. Alieta went to tell Ivy about Morgron so she would know what is going on," said Ginger. "Okay I am going to finish my run then tell Zatsuky about Morgron, said Carmen. Let me know if any regular dragons show up, they are fun to kill." Then Carmen ran off. "Once a dragon slayer always a dragon slayer I suppose," thought Ginger.

Alieta showed up in the cove and saw Ivy talking to Sunflower and Chestnut. She called Ivy over. "Hi Alieta what are you doing here? asked Ivy. It must be important for you to come here yourself." "Well, it is a bit important but I do like coming here sometimes and soaking my feet in the magical pond and talking to the fairies." said Alieta. "Okay, so what is the bit important thing you came to tell me about?" asked Ivy. "Well first I talked to Fillina and she told me that there is nothing wrong with your brain and is not getting stressed out or overworked, said Alieta. You are supposed to read people and scan Fae Land for bad things. You really have no control over what you can do." "Oh, okay but I don't scan Fae Land I just sense when something bad or someone with magic, gets close to Fae Land. I know I can't stop what I first see in someone new but I can control how deep I can see into that person," said Ivy. "Good, now Fillina also said you are Fae Land's Goddess Of The Forest," said Alieta. "I know, God told me but I like Queen way better, said Ivy. Goddess sounds too boring to me but Queen Of The Forest sounds awesome, Just like you, Queen of Fae Land sounds more important than Goddess of Fae Land. Hey, I am the Goddess of Fae Land. Okay, so where is your Queen? See Queen is so much better don't you think?" Alieta laughed. "Yes it sure is Ivy, said Alieta. Now also I came to tell you that a big dragon is sleeping in Paxon." "Funny, I don't sense anything bad," said Ivy. "Well, Morgron is not bad and works with God and Fillina and is very big and powerful," said Alieta. "Okay so he should show up on the overviewer as a green dot, said Ivy, let's go check." They flew over to the overviewer then Ivy activated it. "Okay let me change to Paxon's area and, wow that is a huge green dot. Are you sure there is just one dragon there?" "Yep, Jazmen saw him sleeping out there and said he was the size of a small mountain," said Alieta. "Well compared to the other green dots on the screen when I pan out. Morgron is bigger than Waterfall Mountain and all the other mountains that surround Sandy Lake. That is huge! said Ivy. I wish I could get a visual. I know, I will fly over and see him for myself." "Well Fillina said not to bother him while he is sleeping and recharging," said Alieta. "Recharging from what?" asked Ivy. "Well, he turned a mountain and a dark castle into molten rock killing all the bad dark people that have been killing off all the sun worshippers and almost killed Zenith and Sarah," said Alieta. "Wow, I am really liking Morgron now, said Ivy. Stay and get in the pond and relax, I will be quiet and not wake him, I just want to see how big he is." Then Ivy flew off. "I figured she would do that but that is our Ivy," said Alieta. Chestnut and Sunflower flew over. "Where did Ivy go," asked Chestnut. "She went to look at a  big dragon," said Alieta. Their eyes opened wide. "A big dragon!" they both said then took off out of the cove and into the forest. Alieta smiled and then sat in the pond.

Ivy flew into Paxon and it wasn't long before she spotted Morgron lying on the ground. As she flew down closer, she could see what Jazmen meant. She landed about twenty five yards from his head. "My god you are humungous! I have never seen anything alive this big. One of his claws is bigger than me. Well, maybe I can read him a bit while he is sleeping. I would really like to see him melting that castle and mountain." She started to read Morgron and didn't have to go very deep to see what happened to the entire mountain. "Wow that is some power you have," said Ivy. Morgron opened his eyes and then lifted his head and began to get up. Ivy tried to move back but the hill behind her was too steep. "Relax Goddess Ivylynn. I won't hurt you," said Morgron. He sat down and brought his head way down looking straight at Ivy. "You are just as pretty as Fillina said you were. A true goddess," said Morgron. "Well, I prefer Queen or my friends call me Ivy but if you want to call me Goddess Ivylynn then that is okay," said Ivy. "If you like Ivy then so do I, said Morgron. So how did you like how I melted that entire mountain, pretty cool don't you think." "Yes amazing, you knew I was reading you?" asked Ivy. "Yep, when you read me I can see in you, said Morgron. When I saw it was you I let you see the entire thing. Fillina thinks that only she and God can wake me but I have keen ears and will wake when I want." "Well I didn't mean to wake you, said Ivy. I better get back to the cove." "Don't leave already, I don't get to talk to anyone for very long. Too scary looking I suppose," said Morgron. "Well, you are scary looking but you are the best looking dragon I have ever seen," said Ivy. "Really, so I don't scare you?" asked Morgron. "Nope, you are a real nice dragon like Fillina told Alieta. She said you are a gentle giant," said Ivy. "Ya, I can be nice when I want, especially to girls. Nine times out of ten it is a girl that needs saving from something bad. Here come sit on my tail and I will tell you how I ended the dark ages in Great Britain and Europe in just two days,: said Morgron. " I don't know those places but you did that?" asked Ivy. "Yep, nobody else could, not even the Five Angels Of The Apocalypse, said Morgron. God had to bring in his big gun, me." Ivy smiled. Morgron moved his tail over to Ivy and she sat and listened to Morgron's amazing story.

Ivy sat for almost two hours and listened to Morgron tell her two more stories. He told her when over five hundred green dragons plus one red dragon that was the head of them all, took over and big area of land to live on and began eating the people that lived there. "Well God called on me that time and told me to wipe out all the dragons but make sure I don't hurt any of the humans left alive. So I flew over there and landed right in the middle of them which scared the crap out of them all and flew up as fast as they could to get away from me. Well, that just made it easy for me to fry them all as I chased after them. The red dragon was faster and way ahead of the green dragons. Once I turned all the green dragons to toast I went after the red dragon. I guess he figured he wasn't going to outfly me so he turned and began breathing fire at me. Well, that is like using a birthday cake candle against an erupting volcano. I just grabbed him and bit off his head then spit it out. Dragons taste terrible so never try to eat dragon meat. Then just threw his body down to the ground and then crushed it with my foot. I went down to the land where some of the people were out watching and told them they were safe now and to start rebuilding their lives then I left." Morgron told Ivy another short tale then Ivy said she had to go now. Ivy got off his tail and thanked Morgron for telling her those fascinating stories then took flight. Morgron stood up and waved goodbye and said to come back anytime. Then he laid down and went back to sleep.

Ivy didn't bother going back to the cove, instead she flew home, very excited to tell Viridian about Morgron. When she got home she found Viridian and Sara sitting at the table in the kitchen, waiting on supper in the oven. "Oh good you're here too Sara'" said Ivy. "Of course, it is almost supper time," said Sara. "Well you won't believe who I met today," said Ivy. "Okay I give up, said Viridian, who did you meet?". "Morgron, he is this humongous dragon that takes care of business when God and Fillina need him, said Ivy. I read him and saw what he did today for God." "What did I tell you about reading people," said Viridian. "Well, Fillina told Alieta that there is nothing wrong with my brain and I am supposed to read new people and sense when something bad is coming to Fae Land. Besides Morgron is not a people, said Ivy. Anyways, when I read Morgan while he was sleeping in Paxon and I saw him turn a dark castle that was built into a mountain into molten rock and lava killing all the bad dark people in the castle then he opened his eyes and said hello to me and wanted me to stay and talk to him for a bit because no one ever sticks around to talk to him. So I sat on his tail and he told me how he killed over five hundred green dragons for God then grabbed the red dragon and bit off his head and spit it out. He said never to eat dragon meat because it tastes terrible. Then he told me how he made a wide path through a big mountain range in the west for Fillina. After that, I figured I better get back to the cove so he said goodbye to me as I flew away then he went back to sleep. Pretty cool don't you think. Now I need to lie down and do nothing." "I thought you don't have to do that anymore," said Viridian. "Ya but Alieta agreed with you that I should get eight hours of sleep every night and do nothing for an hour every day," said Ivy. "Okay but supper is almost ready," said Viridian. "I'm not hungry right now, said Ivy. Just put a plate in the ice box for me and I will eat it later when I get hungry. Then Ivy went into her bedroom. "Um, do you think there is really a huge dragon in Paxon that Ivy made friends with?" asked Sara. "Well Ivy has never lied to us before but you go check after supper," said Viridian with a smile. "No way I am going to look for a huge dragon that can melt mountains and bit the head off a red dragon," said Sara. "Well then trust what your sister said to be all true. If anyone can make friends with a dragon then that would be Ivy," said Viridian.

After everyone at the palace had supper and it began to get dark people started to go in the palace and get ready for bed. Ginger walked up to Zenith and asked her if she was ready to go to the room she had prepared for her and Sarah. "A room for just us two?" asked Zenith. "Yes, there are two big beds in it, plus there is a full washroom, said Ginger. No one will bother you two." "I have never gone to sleep without knowing there are men close by in case something bad happens," said Zenith. "Nothing bad is going to happen at the palace, said Ginger. The palace is guarded by sprites at night." "The room is big like Andrews?" asked Zenith. Yes it is exactly the same size," said Ginger. "I would really like it better if we went to sleep in his room, said Zenith. There is two big beds in there, I can sleep with Sarah on one bed and he can sleep with Kalvin on the other bed." "So you want Sarah and yourself to sleep in the same room as Andrew and Kalvin, said Ginger. That will be up to Andrew to decide, said Ginger. I will have to go ask him." |I will ask him, said Zenith. I am sure I can convince him to say yes."  Then she walked over to Andrew. "What was that about Ginger?" asked Alieta. "Well it seems that Zenith wants to share the room that Andrew and Kalvin are using, said Ginger. She likes the idea of having a man close by while sleeping. She is asking him now if it is okay." "I doubt he will say no, said Alieta. Look at her touching his arm and running her finger down his chest." "Well for a girl that lived in a forest she sure knows how to get her own way with a man, said Ginger. I figured this would happen so I had an elf put pink scented soap in the washroom plus some lavender scented perfume." "So you knew this was going to happen," said Alieta. "Yep, I don't even have another room set up for her, said Ginger. Look here they come and they are both smiling." "Hi Ginger, it is fine that we share the room with Zenith and Sarah. Kevin has made friends with Sarah quite fast so they will like the idea, And what about you?" asked Ginger. "I would be a fool to say no to such a beautiful girl," said Andrew. Zenith smiled. "Come let's take the kids in and get them ready for bed," said Zenith. Then they walked away holding hands. "I think we just saw a new family being made," said Ginger. "I believe you are right," said Alieta. When Andrew and Zenith got to the room with Kalvin and Sarah, Zenith told Sarah she needed to wash her hands, face and feet before going to bed. "I'll wash your feet if you wash mine," said Kalvin. "Okay," said Sarah, and they both went into the washroom together. "Well they seem to be getting along together nicely," said Zenith. "Yes Kalvin liked the idea of having a baby sister before my wife died so this is like a dream come true to him I suppose," said Andrew. "What about you?" asked Zenith. "I always wanted to have a daughter, said Andrew. In fact, we were planning to have a big family." Zenith smiled. "Well, when they are done would you like me to wash your feet too?" asked Zenith. "Only if I get to wash yours," said Andrew. "That would be nice," said Zenith. "When everyone was cleaned up they all went to bed. They said goodnight to each other then soon everyone fell asleep. "Well that ends another day, said Alieta to Ginger as they sat on the couch with a glass of wine. I wonder where Milena and Kendra have been. I haven't seen them all day." "Beats me, said Ginger. Must be doing things in the new home. I think I will waive the permit costs seeing I was going to have that log house torn down. That saved us a lot more money when Keiko fixed it up." "Good thinking said Alieta. I knew you would do the right thing."

In the morning Mirela and Kendra got up and now they were able to make their own bacon and eggs thanks to Ktara and her cooking lessons. Once they finished breakfast they got dressed and went to the palace so Melina could pay for the permit that she owed. "No one will be up there yet, said Kendra. Alieta never comes out before a little after seven." So what, it looks like a nice day and we can sit on the steps while we wait," said Mirela. Okay sounds good," said Kendra. Mirela got her horse then they headed out to the palace. When they reached the palace they saw someone sitting on one of the blocks beside the steps looking up at the sky. "I wonder who that is?" asked Kendra. "You haven't seen her before, I thought you knew most of the elves here," said Mirela. "Well not her that is for sure, said Kendra. Plus no one here wears an outfit like she has on." "Well let's go meet her and find out why she is up so early," said Mirela. They walked up to her and said hello. "Hi, isn't it a wonderful day so far," said Zenith. "Well it is very early but so far it is, I am Kendra and this is Mirela. What is your name? I haven't seen you before." |Zenith, nice to meet you both." "So why are you up so early?" asked Melina. "I always get up as soon as the sun starts rising, said Zenith. I look at the red sun and say my prayers to God and thank him for the light the sun gives us and the water the clouds give. The two things that give everything life. It is my alone time before my daughter gets up." "You have a daughter, you don't look like you are old enough to have a kid already, said Kendra. How old is she?" She is one and I am twenty three, more than old enough to have a baby," said Zenith. "Okay, I suppose you are old enough, where are you from?" asked Kendra. Ivy said across the ocean, God sent Fillina to save me from bad men on horses that were going to kill me and Sarah, said Zenith. She brought us here." "Okay that explains the different outfit, said Kendra. So your one year old daughter is sleeping alone in the palace?" asked Mirela. "Heavens no, Andrew and his son are in the room still sleeping also. They will take care of Sarah for me when she wakes up. She won't wake up for a bit longer yet," said Zenith. "So Andrew is your boyfriend then?" asked Mirela. "Maybe," said Zenith. "Well maybe usually means yes, said Mirela. So do you mind if we sit with you while we wait for Alieta to come out?" "Not at all but it might get a bit crowded up here," said Zenith. Mirela smiled. "That is okay we will sit on the steps, said Mirela. So if you came from across the ocean then what town are you from," asked Kendra. "We lived in a forest, it didn't have a name, said Zenith. "Really you lived in a forest too, I used to live in the woods before I came to Fae Land," said Kendra. Alieta came out and saw them all sitting and talking. "Good morning, so I see we have some early birds here. Where is Sarah?" asked Alieta. "Still sleeping but she will be up soon. I need to get her washed up before having breakfast. Well, when you have a shower check and see what Ginger left you to wash with. Nice scented pink soap and lavender perfume for after," said Alieta. "What is a shower?" asked Zenith. "Ask Andrew, he will tell you," said Alieta. "Okay, see you after breakfast," said Zenith then jumped off the block and went into the palace.

"So Mirela, that is a new look for you," said Alieta. "Is it a good new look?" asked Mirela. "Yes very good and pretty. No head scarf too. A much better look for you," said Alieta. "Tell us about Zenith, said Kendra. She seemed a bit off to me and said God had Fillina save her and her baby from being killed and brought her here from across the ocean. We found her out here praying to the sun." "Well that is all correct, said Alieta. "She is a sun worshipper and prays to god through the sun. She is quite the girl and her child is adorable. The cutest little girl I have ever seen." "Really, so she was telling the truth. Why would anyone want to kill her and her baby?" asked Mirela. "Let me just say Zenith and Sarah are special and you know where God likes to keep all the special people," said Alieta. "Ya I know, Fae Land," said Kendra. "So where were you two all day yesterday?" asked Alieta. "Well neither of us know how to cook so we went to see if Ktara would teach us like she did with Pixie Ginger and Ivy," said Mirela. "So how did that go?" asked Alieta. "Well once she got Kendra not afraid of fire so much we did pretty good and were able to cook breakfast for ourselves this morning. She left a couple recipe books with us also." "That is good, said Alieta. I think all forest sprites are afraid of fire." "Well she still won't let me put her candle on her side of the bedroom but that is fine with me," said Mirela. "So this Andrew guy must be quite the guy too seeing that Zenith is so pretty," said Kendra. "Yes, he is a very handsome man with a good heart. He just bought a house in the older area of the elf village, probably not far from where you two live. So what are you two going to do today?" asked Alieta. "I came here to pay Ginger for the permit, said Mirela then maybe hang out for a bit." "I want to see Zenith's baby, said Kendra. Maybe she will let me hold her." "Well first Ginger is waving the fee because it would have cost us more to have the house torn down and I suppose you have never seen a one year old baby elf before Kendra," said Alieta. "Nope never seen any kind of baby before," said Kendra. "Well baby elves grow fast at first compared to human babies, said Alieta. Sarah can walk and talk and plays nicely with Kalvin who is four years old. Sarah is very friendly and asks lots of questions. You just can't help loving her." "If Ginger is waving the permit fee then can you give her this money so she can buy something nice for Sarah, said Mirela. Maybe some toys and stuff." "Sure I can do that, she has never seen money before but Andrew will tell her what it is for," said Alieta. "I can hardly wait to see this family," said Kendra.

Alieta walked over to check the sundial to see what the weather was going to be like today. Ginger came out of the palace then Mirela walked over to her to thank her for waiving the permit fee. Next Andrew and Zenith came out with the two kids and went over to the couch. Kendra saw them come out and walked over to see them all. "So these are your children. Alieta was right they are adorable," said Kendra. "Andrew this is Kendra and over there with Ginger is her friend Mirela," said Zenith. "Well nice to meet you Kendra, said Andrew. Another forest sprite, how nice." Alieta turned around and saw Mirela talking to Ginger so she walked over to them. "Hi Kendra, I am Sarah, you are very pretty like Ivy." "Well thank you Sarah, you are pretty too, said Kendra. "I am handsome like my Dad, said Kalvin. Well, he is bigger and older and more handsome than me but I will grow up to be just as handsome as he is one day." "Kendra smiled. "Well for a little boy I think you are very handsome," said Kendra. Alieta waved over Zenith and Andrew. "Can you watch these two for us please? asked Zenith. Alieta wants to talk to us." "Sure no problem," said Kendra then sat on the couch. As soon as Andrew and Zenith walked away both Sarah and Kelvin got up on the couch on either side of Kendra. "How come I don't have wings like you," asked Sarah. "Well you are an elf and elves don't have wings like sprites and pixies," said Kendra. "What is a pixie?" asked Sarah. "Sarah asks a lot of questions, said Kalvin. But I have never seen a regular pixie either. I met Lulu but Sakura said she was a special pixie and could do magic with her wand. What do they look like?" "Oh ya I met Lulu too, she made a ball for us to kick around," said Sarah. "Well, a pixie is a lot like a fairy but smaller and doesn't do magic with a wand. They love to play though," said Kendra. "We like to play too, said Sarah. Do you want to hear a secret?" "Sure, said Kendra. "My Mom likes Kalvin's dad a whole bunch," said Sarah quietly. "How do you know that?" asked Kendra. "Because she told me sort of, said Sarah. She is always telling me what a good and kind man Andrew is. Do you want to hear another secret?" asked Kalvin. "Okay," said Kendra. "My Dad likes Sarah's Mom a lot," said Kalvin. And how do you know that?" asked Kendra. "Because I know. I see them talking and smiling at each other all the time and my Dad likes to hold her hand. I am four so I can tell stuff you know," said Kalvin. "Okay so are these real secrets or just something you two wanted to tell me?" asked Kendra. "They are real secrets, said Kalvin. You have to swear not to tell anyone." "My Mom said it is not nice to swear," said Sarah. "Well promise then," said Kalvin. "Okay I promise not to tell anyone," said Kendra. "Good, you can tell your friend Mirela but you have to make her promise not to tell anyone," said Kalvin. Okay, I will," said Kendra that had a big smile on her face. So do you have any secrets? asked Sara. It is your turn to tell us one you know." "Lets see, I don't know any secrets but Sakura told me a riddle not long ago," said Kendra. "I like riddles," said Kalvin. What's a riddle," asked Sara. It is a tricky question and you have to figure out the right answer, said Kalvin. "Okay," said Sarah. Now this one isn't that tricky but here goes," said Kendra. A squrrel, a monkey and a bird were sitting at the bottom of a coconut tree. Now which one of them will get to the banana at the top fastest? The monkey of coarse, monkeys love bananas," said Kalvin. Nope that is wrong, said Kendra. Then the bird, said Sara, they are fast flyers. Nope that is wrong too," said Kenra. Okay then it has to be the squirrel, said Kalvin. Nope, not the squirrel either, said Kendra. What? Are they all dead or something?" asked Kalvin. No the are alive and healthy, said Kendra. It has to be one of them, right Sara, said Kalvin. "Yep, maybe it was a tie, said Sara. Nope still wrong, said Kendra. Remember it is a trick question. The two of looked at each other then Sarah's eyes opened wide. "Kalvin do banana's grow on coconut trees?" asked Sarah. "No coconuts do that is why it is called a coconut tree," said Kalvin. Then none of them can get to the banana if there isn't one growing there, said Sara, I like bananas." "Ya your right, said Kalvin. Hey you tricked us Kendra." "Yep but you two worked together and got the right answer," said Kendra with a smile.     

"So do you two want to meet a real pixie," asked Kendra. "Do you know where to find a pixie?" asked Sarah, "Yep I know where there is lots of them, said Kendra. I will just bring one though because too many pixies around can get pretty nutty." "Okay, one is good enough," said Kalvin. "Now, you two have to stay here on the couch and be good and promise me you won't go anywhere else just like I promised you to keep your secrets," said Kendra. "Okay I promise," said Sarah. "Me too, I promise," said Kalvin. "Good so I am just going to tell your parents what I am doing then I will go get her, said Kendra. I can fly fast and she can fly faster." Kendra went over to where everyone was talking. Hi Kendra, how did you like spending some time alone with those two?" asked Alieta. They are wonderful, said Kendra. They asked some questions then both of them told me a secret. They were fun to listen to, and very entertaining." So what were the secrets they told you," asked Alieta? "I can't tell you, I promised not to tell anyone," said Kendra. "Really you promised two children to keep their secret. Was it a good secret?" asked Alieta. "Yep, very good and not really that much of a secret, said Kendra. Anyways they promised to stay put until I bring a pixie for them to meet, said Kendra. They both asked me to show them a real normal pixie not like Lulu. I will let you two meet Quinn first, you will like her, she is not nutty like the rest of the pixies are. I'll be right back." Then Kendra flew off to the fairy forest. "Do you know a pixie called Quinn?" asked Alieta to Ginger. "Nope but there are thousands of them so that doesn't surprise me," said Ginger.
