Prologue

We left Penny and Josh walking back to the palace after meeting God in the center of New Eden. God told them that time moves much slower in New Eden and in the three hours that they were travelling in New Eden, over two days had passed in Fae Land. After God told them some very important facts, he sent back to where they started. Meanwhile searches for them have been on going all over Fae Land. Ginger and Alieta are heading out to continue looking for them not knowing the two of them are on their way back to the place...

Ginger and Alieta went to the stable and got their horses. They started out across the east side of the palace grounds then Alieta asked Ginger to wait a second. "We need a plan this time," said Alieta. "No use just randomly riding all over the place looking for clues." "Okay, how about we go to where Ktara found their tracks then do what they did," said Ginger. "And what was that?" asked Alieta. "They got off their horses and started to walk for some reason," said Ginger. "If we can do exactly what they did then maybe what ever happened to them will happen to us." "Well okay but what if what ever happened to them was bad?" asked Alieta. "Then at least we will know but we will be in Eden, God wouldn't let something bad be there," said Ginger. "Yes your right, said Alieta. Okay lets go." They both rode off past Sandy Lake then went west to where Ktara found the tracks.

They rode past Ivy's place, Ktara's place then Carmen and Zatsuky's house. Then they pasted the golden beacon tree and the new radio station that was ready to start operating anytime but Ginger forgot all about it. "Man I am slipping," said Ginger. "Merlin suggested to me that the twins would probably like to run this and play music for everyone. I just plain forgot." "Well a lot has happened in the last three days," said Alieta. "Right now lets stay focus on looking for clues." They kept going until they were getting close to Mika and Layla's place then Ginger stopped. "Okay this is where the horse tracks stop and the foot prints begin," said Ginger. "They got off their horses and continued on foot so lets do the same." They both got off their horses then Ginger slowly followed the faint tracks until they seemed to cross. "Okay something happened here," said Ginger. "Looks like they both walked left then right then straight ahead. Why would they do that I wonder. There is nothing straight ahead and that is where the foot prints stop." "Maybe they got lifted up by something," said Alieta. "Ya maybe but Ivy said that the feeling she had was strongest in Eden when she was walking around like us," said Ginger. She looked right and saw no tracks at all then she looked left. "Hey what is that over there," asked Ginger. "Has that big pink rock always been there?" "Not sure, I don't come out this way too often," said Alieta. "Ya me either but I didn't notice it just a minute ago," said Ginger. "Now the tracks look like they are heading towards that rock but the ground gets hard and I can't see any foot prints anymore." Ginger got down on her hands and knees and slowly crawled to the left looking close to the ground. "There! more tracks," said Ginger. The ground is soft here again and now the foot prints go straight to that pink rock." "Okay that makes sense, said Alieta. It is the only pink rock out here. I suppose they went to look at it." "Just like I am going to do," said Ginger. "She crawled up to the rock and saw writing on the rock. "Look Alieta, there is writing on the rock in elven." Alieta got closer to the rock. "I don't see any writing, said Alieta. Are you sure you are not just over tired." "No I can see it plain as day," said Ginger. I will translate it to english for you. "May the hand of God lead you to paradise. The hand of his child will show the way". "You can see that?" said Alieta. "Definately some magic going on here and only elves can see it. So what does it mean?" "Well Fillina has mentioned a few times about God's New Eden," said Ginger. "Maybe the Eden we see here is not the New Eden at all. Now lets see, may the hand of God lead you to paradise." "Is there a hand drawn there?" asked Alieta. Well yes sort of but it isn't pointing in any direction, said Ginger. It is just an open hand laying sideways under all the writing." "Okay so maybe if you put your hand on the hand on the rock, that may do something," said Alieta. "You are a child of God, I came from a ball of energy." "Okay, let me try it," said Ginger. Ginger put her hand on the rock where the picture of the hand was. Suddenly a loud hissing sound could be heard then a very bright light lit up to the right of them. Then the light went out. "Okay so what was that all about?" asked Alieta. "I don't know but that is the best clue I have found so far and I am sure now that they are in New Eden that must be through some kind of portal," said Ginger. "Your probably right but why isn't the portal opening for us?" asked Alieta. "That I haven't figured out yet, unless it has to do with Penny being with Josh," said Ginger.

Penny and Josh had just pasted the town with all the stores in it when Sakura came flying up to them. "Hi Penny who is the pretty boy with you?" "This is my friend Josh, said Penny. He is from Triland." "Triland, where is that?" asked Sakura. "About three days south by horse from here," said Penny. "Oh so far away," said Sakura. "Hi Josh, Penny is one of my best friends, do you want to be one of my best friends too. I have lots of best friends but my most best friend is Lulu, she is a pixie. Then Ivy is my next best friend." "Ya Sakura has lots of great friends here in Fae Land Josh," said Penny. "She is very special to all of us. So what are you doing out here?" "I am looking for clues," said Sakura. "Everyone is out looking for clues. Ivy asked me to look close to the ground for foot prints or pieces of clothing that belong to you. I haven't found any yet but I will. I have really good eye sight. When I do I am supposed to go right to the palace and tell someone." "So you are looking for pieces of my clothing and our foot prints right?" asked Penny with a smile. "Yep that's right," said Sakura. She paused for a moment. "Hey wait, you two are supposed to be missing," said Sakura. "The whole world is out looking for you two. Well maybe not the whole world but all of Fae Land, well not all of Fae Land but lots of people." "Well here we are, you found us," said Penny. "Okay but Ivy didn't tell me what to do if I found you," said Sakura. "Well there is our foot prints behind us so arn't you suppose to tell someone at the palace," said Penny hoping that Sakura would go to the palace and someone will bring a horse for them to ride. Sakura looked behind them. "Yep those are foot prints alright. I better go to the palace," said Sakura then started to fly away but stopped and flew back. "Yes Sakura, did you forget something?" asked Penny. "Almost but not now. I better bring you two with me so you don't go missing again," said Sakura. I will fly behind you so I can keep an eye on you two." Josh started to laugh. "Is she for real?" asked Josh. "Yep and adorable. She is just eight years old," said Penny. "Yep eight years and one month old," said Sakura. "Now lets get going, I feel like having some ice cream when we get to the palace. Sally always gives me ice cream. No wait she is out looking for you also. Good thing I know where it is kept in the kitchen."

"Well how about you walk with us instead of behind us," said Penny. "Don't you want to hear where we were?" "Ya that would be great, said Sakura but I think I know where you were." "Really, and where is that?" asked Penny. "You two were hiding somewhere in Eden kissing," said Sakura. "No, we were not kissing, said Penny." "Why not, isn't that what a boy elf and a girl elf do when they really like each other?" asked Sakura. "Well yes but we were on an adventure together in New Eden," said Penny. "Wow an adventure, I love going on adventures," said Sakura. "Where is New Eden, is it close to old Eden?" "Well sort of but come lets start walking and I will tell you more," said Penny. Josh had never met anyone like Sakura and was happy just having Penny do the talking. "So do you remember when that moving portal was taking some people to Granada?" asked Penny. "Yep sure do, said Sakura. It got me too and took me right to Olympia's kitchen in Granada. I wanted to stay for a while but nobody would let me for some reason so Gabriel took me right back home after I finished the bowl of ice cream Olympia gave me." "Well we found a portal like that," said Penny but this one was different. It made a very beautiful tunnel covered in vines and strings of pink and purple flowers." "Wow, that sounds very pretty," said Sakura. "Yes it was but that is only the begining," said Penny. "When we got out of the tunnel that sounded like the flowers were singing, we were at a place I have never seen before. There were plants and rocks in front of us and the land was greener and much bigger than the Eden we know of. Josh noticed a path so we followed it for at least an hour and guess what we found at the end of the path." "A big barrel of chocolate ice cream," said Sakura. Josh started laughing again. I can't help it, she is so funny," said Josh. "There is nothing funny about ice cream, said Sakura. Ice cream is serious business." "Oh okay, sorry," said Josh that was trying his best not to snicker. "Well that would of been nice but we found another beautiful area with plants and flowers everywhere plus a magical stream," said Penny. "As we walked in the stream it kept getting longer and longer so we kept walking to where ever the stream was taking us." "This does sound like an amazing adventure," said Sakura. Where did the stream take you?" "That is the best part," said Penny. "It stopped at another amazing place that had a stone pathway. We followed it and found the centre of New Eden plus a big man that first called himself The Care Taker but didn't take me long to figure out that he was really God." "God! You met God in New Eden!" said Sakura all excited now. "Yep and he was so nice to us and told us some things about New Eden," said Penny. Can I go please, I want to see God again and New Eden," said Sakura. "Well not yet because Fillina and him are not finished making all the areas yet and he told us not to tell anyone where the portal is and the answer to the riddles." "Okay then, if God said so then I will wait," said Sakura. "Do you think one of those areas will have ice cream in it?" "Probably, God knows how much everyone here loves ice cream," said Penny. "Now he also told us that time moves much slower in New Eden right now so during the three hours we were in there, almost three days had pasted in Fae Land." "Wow so you two were not lost or missing at all or in any danger like people thought," said Sakura. "You were safe and on an adventure made by God. Boy are you two ever lucky. Okay here we are but I don't see anyone. No Alieta, Ginger or any elves at all walking around. Kinda spooky." "I agree it is a bit past noon and there should be people all over the place," said Penny. Well I am going into the dining room to get some ice cream," said Sakura. I haven't had any today yet. Do you two want to come with me?" "No I think we are going to go in and have a shower in one of the empty rooms," said Penny. Then probably go to my place for some supper." "Woo, showering together? I bet you will kiss then," said Sakura. "No we will have separate showers," said Penny. "Oh, my way sounded like more fun, said Sakura. Okay see you two later" then Sakura ran into the palace. "What is with her fixation with ice cream?" asked Josh. "Well ice cream is very sweet and tasty and sugar is needed to keep people with wings energized," said Penny. "If they go too long without sugar then they can't fly very good." "Oh so it is not just a craving it is needed. Okay I get it now," said Josh. "Very amazing little girl I must say." "Yep and the thing about her is she is much smarter than you think," said Penny. "Everything I told her about New Eden she will remember and when people ask her some questions she will tell them which will save us from telling everyone. They will have to keep asking her questions but eventually Sakura will have told the entire story then the rest is up to the grape vine of elves and pixies. So lets get cleaned up then go to my place. Once Sally finds out I am fine and at home she will be first to come see us to see us. So it will be a supper for three."

Sakura went directly into the dining room and notice the small table. "Hey, that is new," said Sakura. "Looks way too small for me. Sally, who is the small table and chairs for," she yelled. Kandice came out of the kitchen. "Hi Sakura, Sally isn't here, she works the morning shift but she hasn't been working for the last three days so I am filling in for her and Mandy doing a double shift," said Kandice. "That table is for Koko and Trigger. Sally got it from a store in town and had it delivered a few days ago." "Oh that was so thoughtful of her. I like playing with Koko and Trigger." "So what are you up too?" asked Kandice. "Well I haven't had any ice cream today yet so can I have a bowl of chocolate ice cream please," said Sakura. "Okay, you need to recharge you wings so you can keep seaching I suppose," said Kandice. "Yep I need to get energized but I don't need to keep seaching," said Sakura. "Why not? asked Kandice. They need as many people as possible looking for Penny and Josh." "Not anymore, I found them," said Sakura. "What! You found them, are they okay?" asked Kandice. "Yep they are fine, just a bit dirty I guess," said Sakura. "Well where did you find them?" asked Kandice. "They were walking towards the elf village just past the town," said Sakura. "Josh is really pretty and thinks I am funny. He is going to be another one of my best friends. You are one of my best friends to you know and an even better best friend if you got me the chocolate ice cream." Kandice smiled. "Okay I will but first did they tell you where they have been for the last three days?" asked Kandice. "Yep, they were in New Eden on an adventure," said Sakura. Kandice figured she better get Sakura the ice cream then try and find out more from her. When she came back out she handed the bowl to Sakura that was sitting at the dining room table. "Okay now while you recharge tell me more about them, said Kandice like where is New Eden." "Oh it is through a portal that is a tunnel made of vines and singing pink and purple flowers," said Sakura. "Singing flowers, flowers don't sing," said Kandice. "Well that is what Penny said. She said it was beautiful." "Okay so that took them three days to go through?" asked Kandice. "Nope. That was just the begining of their adventure," said Sakura. "They found a path and followed if for a while that took them to a place that looked nothing like old Eden. Penny said it was greener with more flowers and lots bigger." "Okay so that took an hour, what happened next?" asked Kandice. "Well at the end of the path they came to another area in New Eden that was very beautiful with lots of trees and flowers. I think that took them about an hour to get to also, not sure though," said Sakura. "Okay so lets say it did take an hour so that accounts for two hours," said Kandice. "Then what did Penny tell you." "Umm they followed another path I think to a very pretty place that had a magical stream that they had to walk in," said Sakura. "What was magical about the stream, did she say?" asked Kandice. "Yep, as they walked in it the stream kept growing forward for a long time. But when it stopped that was the best part of New Eden that they saw," said Kandice. "Sakura, what did they see?" asked Kandice. "The very center of New Eden and God," said Sakura. "I wanted to go there too to see God again but Penny said Fillina and God haven't finished all the areas yet so nobody else can go in until they are done." "God, they met God in the center of New Eden. That is amazing," said Kandice. "So they talked to him for almost three days then." "Nope, Penny said they were in New Eden for just three hours but God told them time moves very slow in New Eden and three days had pasted in Fae Land," said Sakura. "Penny said God wanted to talk to them and gave them an amazing adventure but they are not allowed to tell anyone where the portal is and the answer to the riddles. That is all she told me until we got here at the palace." "Penny and Josh are here! Where are they?" asked Kandice. "Having a shower in one of the empty rooms. Penny said they were having separate showers but I told her showering together would be more fun and they could kiss," said Sakura. "They really like each other you know." "Yes I figured that but I am not going to check every room in the palace to find them," said Kandice. "I already found them and they are happy and had a great time," said Sakura. "They are going to Penny's place next to have supper." "I guess I shouldn't interupt them in the palace while they are having a shower but I better start letting everyone know that you found them and to stop searching," said Kandice. "Just go out side and call for Pippa," said Sakura. "She will tell the other pixies and in no time at all everyone will know. Pixies have the fastest grape vine of all. Alieta told me that."

"I have never called for Pippa before," said Kandice. "Why would she come to me and what should I say to get her here?" "She will come," said Sakura. "I don't know how she hears us but she does. Just yell out her name and say you have something important to tell her. Maybe say it is you first. That way she will know who is calling." "That is it, you really think she will come for me, she is a queen and all," said Kandice." "Yep she will come, just give her a minute to get here. Sometimes she is far away," said Sakura. "Can I have some more ice cream before you go outside?" "Help yourself, said Kandice. The kitchen is on self serve for now." Then Kandice left. "Oh boy, self serve kitchen. Lets go see what is in the ice box," thought Sakura. Kandice went out side and noticed there was not a sole to be seen anywhere. "Well that explains why is has been so slow today," she thought. Okay lets give this a try. "Pippa, it is Kandice. I have something very important to tell you about Penny". Okay that should do it I guess." She waited for almost a full minute then Pippa just appeared beside her. "Hi Kandice. I have never heard you call for me before," said Pippa. "So you have some information about our girl Penny?" "Yes big news," said Kandice. "Sakura found Penny and Josh walking towards the palace and found out they were on an adventure through a portal in God's New Eden where the time is much slower there compared to here. They are just fine and having a shower in the palace to get cleaned up then going to Penny's place for supper." Where is Sakura now?" asked Pippa. "In the dining roon eating ice cream," said Kandice. "So she told you all this about them?" asked Pippa. "Yep but in a bit more detail," said Kandice. Pippa smiled. "How many times did you have to ask her a question to find all this out about them?" asked Pippa. "Lots, I lost count. It was like pulling nails. Why didn't she just tell me everything at once?" asked Kandice. "Well because Sakura is not like any of us," said Pippa. "Her brain is wired differently for one plus she is very young. She won't tell you anything unless you ask a specific question. I bet Penny told her the story." "Yes, Sakura said that Penny told her all about the adventure they had," said Kandice. "Makes sense then," said Pippa. "You see, Penny knows Sakura a lot better than you. She sees her and talks to her every time she comes to the palace. Penny knows that Sakura will remember everything that she told her and will pass it on when asked the right questions. So was she excited when you first saw her about finding them?" "Actually she didn't say anything about Penny and Josh at first. She was just asking about the new little table in the dining room and wanted some ice cream," said Kandice. "It wasn't until I mentioned that she need more energy to go back out on the search that she said she didn't need to go back seaching, she already found them and stopped there. "Yep that is our Sakura alright. In her mind the problem was solved," said Pippa. She found them, they were safe and happy plus back home. Nothing else needed to be said at that time. Eventually she would of found Ivy or called me to pass on the news. Okay I will get the pixies all out there passing on the good news. It has been nice chatting with you Kandice. Call me anytime especially if you want to play. Us pixies love playing. Then Pippa took off like a flash. "Wow, that was actually fun. I better get back in the dining room and see what Sakura is doing. I probably shouldn't of told her it was a self serve kitchen," said Kandice.

Pippa went to to the pixie forset where she got the ball rolling. She told one pixie the good news and that was all it took. Within a minute over a thousand pixies were out flying around looking for people still searching for Penny and Josh to tell them they were found and okay. Pippa knew that Ivy was at the golden beacon tree so she flew over to tell her and talk some. "Hi Ivy, you talking to your tree again I see." "Yep, just checking on it plus taking a bit of a break," said Ivy. The sense I have for Penny is a lot stronger now so either I am very close to her of somebody finally found her." "Yep somebody did find both of them," said Pippa. "Sakura found them walking back to the palace. She told Kandice that God has made a New Eden where time goes much slower than here. They went through some kind of portal and were on an adventure God made for them. Kendra got to know Sakura better too after asking all those questions to her." Ivy smiled. "I am glad it was Sakura. She is the only one that wouldn't over react after finding them. So where are they now?" asked Ivy. Well acording to Kendra and Sakura they are either having a shower in the palace or at home preparing for supper," said Pippa. I am pretty sure Penny told Sakura the story so she would pass it on eventually so they could have time to get cleaned up then go home to eat. Everyone can wait until tomorrow to see them and get the full version of what happened." "So I expect you have the pixies spreading the news," said Ivy. "Yep, everyone will know soon," said Pippa. "Okay I have to go to Ginger now, I feel that she is hurting still inside so she must not know yet and she is with Alieta. "So Penny and Ginger are close friends?" asked Pippa. "More than that. Penny is Ginger's number one elf in the palace and one of her best friends, they nave been friends before Ginger met Alieta. Some how she thinks she is part to blame for their disappearence," said Ivy. "That part I don't get yet. Anyways come for supper at the palace in a bit. There with be lots of smiling faces there this time." "Sounds good," said Pippa then flew off then Ivy headed west where Ginger and Alieta were.

When Ivy got to where Ginger was she asked where Alieta was. "She headed back to the palace after hearing Penny and Josh were found and are okay," said Ginger. "Oh so you heard, why are you still here?" asked Ivy. "You see that pink rock over there, it is some kind of trigger for a portal or something," said Ginger. I read the writting on it and when I put my hand on the rock, a bright light appeared for a moment then went out. I must be doing something wrong." Ivy walked over to rock and when she looked at it she saw no writing. "What writing, I see just a plain old pink rock," said Ivy. "Well Alieta couldn't see the writing either, said Ginger. It is in elven plus there is a drawing of a hand on it. I guess just elves can see it." "Okay so what did it say?" asked Ivy. "May the hand of God lead you to paradise. The hand of his child will show the way. I figure it is a riddle of sorts. Yes that is something God would do," said Ivy. God, you think God put this rock here?" asked Ginger. "Yep, Pippa told me that Sakura said Penny and Josh went through some kind of portal and gave them an adventure in New Eden where time moves much slower," said Ivy. "Okay so why can't I open the portal?" asked Ginger. "Well I am not sure," said Ivy. Let me see if I can look deeper into this rock. I definately sense some very strong magic coming from it." Ivy stared at the rock for a few moments then got down on one knee and placed her hand on it. She closed her eyes and began to concentrate. Ginger watched as the rock around Ivy's hand began to glow some. In about a minute. Ivy took her hand off the rock and stood up. "Okay I got all I could but let me tell you this rock is not letting anyone in here right now," said Ivy. "Really, so what did you see? asked Ginger. "Not a lot but over there, it opens a very pretty tunnel," said Ivy. I couldn't see it very clearly but it was colourful. It seems that New Eden is just for elves for now but it is not finished yet. Then I saw God's face, he smiled at me then everything went dark. Best we leave it alone for now." "I suppose we have no choice," said Ginger. "I wonder why he is making a New Eden, there is nothing wrong with this Eden." "Your a smart girl," said Ivy. "Think about it, the rock says the portal will lead you to paradise. We have two male elves here so far with more coming soon from Triland. Where would be the best place for a couple to fall in true love and get God's blessing?" "Okay I get it now, said Ginger. New Eden is for romance." "Yep but I feel there is more to it than that," said Ivy. So are you going to go back to the palace now?" "Yep, I need to talk to Penny," said Ginger. "Not until tomorrow, said Ivy. "Pippa said they are home by now and getting supper ready. Best to leave them alone for now. You can talk to Penny tomorrow." "As usual you are right," said Ginger. "Plus I need to get some more sleep right after supper. This has been a hard three days for me."

Penny and Josh left the palace after having a shower and ran over to the stable where there was only one girl there attending the horses. Hi Penny, where have you been? asked the elf. On an adventure but I can't talk now, I have to go get supper ready," said Penny. "Okay, I see your in a hurry. You know where your horse is, said the elf. You must be Josh. I don't know which horse is yours." "I do, said Josh. Thanks for taking care of her for me." "You are very welcomed," said the elf. They both got their horse then rode off. "Now I get it," thought the elf. "If I had a man like that I would go missing for a week." They rode past the palace then past the candy factory. "Okay see that L shaped house over there, that is mine and the one beside it is Sally's," said Penny. "Nice and close to Jessica's candies." "Very convenient," said Josh. "Well there is Sally. I told you she would be over waiting for me," said Penny. "I wonder who is with her. "That is my brother Jaydren. I saw them walking together back to the palace after talking some under the apple tree. Looks like they hooked up." "Okay, dinner for four then," said Penny. I hope my ice box still has ice in it and the food hasn't gone bad." "They got off their horses and Penny ran over to Sally and they hugged. Josh walked over to his brother. "I have been so worried about you," said Sally. "Where have you two been?" "On an amazing adventure," said Penny. "I will tell you all about it inside." "So Josh, I am glad to see you are okay. I was getting worried about you." said Jaydren. "I can see why you disappeared though. Penny is quite the looker." "Oh ya and Sally is just as pretty," said Josh. "So I see you are with Josh's brother," said Penny. "Yes he is very nice to me and makes me laugh," said Sally. "Josh is very easy on the eyes too." "Hey what are you two talking about over there?" asked Penny. "Just you two," said Jaydren. "What are you two talking about?" "Just you two," said Penny. They all laughted. "Come lets get inside before anyone else sees us," said Penny. I have some things to talk about with Ginger tomorrow but today, it is just us four." "I'm with you grilfriend," said Sally and they all went in the house.

After everyone had finished supper at the palace, a lot of talk was going on about how Penny and Josh just appeared out of nowhere." "Pippa and Ivy were not about to start saying anyhing that they knew about them figuring it would just raise more questions that they had no answers to. Eventually the chatter died down and elves that normally didn't eat supper at the palace went home. The girls from the palace were just content to know Penny was safe and resting at home. Alieta talked to Ginger a bit before she went in to catch up on some sleep. "So do you feel any better now," asked Alieta. "Yes I do but I still need to talk to Penny tomorrow and say sorry for taking advantage of her," said Ginger. "That is still bugging me." "Well you my friend have way too much on your plate," said Alieta. "Do what I have done. You are in charge of the palace which takes a big burden off of me. "Ivy is in charge of keeping Fae Land looking beautiful. Something I can't do like she can. I would have to hire people to take care of all the trees and plants. Ivy has also taken charge of the fairie's cove and the fairies do what ever she asks them to do. Pippa now realizes that all the pixies consider her the queen of pixies and she has them keeping Fae Land looking beatiful with pixie dust plus she deals with any issues among them and has put some other pixies in charge of stuff. Now you did put Sally in charge of the kitchen so that is a step in the right direction. Dedicate authority and lighten your load some so you won't forget stuff anymore." "Ya your right. I do like all the responsibility but too much is not good for me," said Ginger. "Things are changing here very fast. I just can't keep up with everything like before. Okay I need to go to bed. I probably won't get back up until lunch time. Good night Alieta," then Ginger went into the palace. "Well that was a good talk," said Alieta. "Yes it was, a very good talk," said Fillina that just appeared. "You are always good at saying the right things. Your job here as queen is the hardest of everyones." "How is that?" asked Alieta.
