When Ivy reached the palace she saw Alieta sitting on the couch by herself. She first flew into the palace to get an ice cream cone. Alieta saw her coming and wondered why she didn't come to talk to her first. When Ivy came out she walked over to Alieta licking her ice cream cone. "Ivy, what the heck, I've been worried about you. Couldn't you of come to see me first? asked Alieta. "Sorry Alieta, I have been doing a lot of flying and stuff. I needed to get some ice cream first to recharge," said Ivy. "Okay, I can understand that I guess. So what happened?" asked Alieta. Oh, I have an amazing story to tell you. So where is everyone?" asked Ivy. "Not sure, probably inside doing stuff, said Alieta. Never mind about them tell me your story." "Well, Fillina can really kick butt when she gets going, said Ivy. She said we made a good team. I was invisible and translucent and told her where the creepy evil guys were so she could turn them to dust. Then we followed the streams of steam that rose out of the ground and went into the creepy old house. She blew all the planks off the windows which made all the evil things inside really mad. You know she is fearless, I was a bit scared but I knew Fillina wouldn't let anything happen to me." "Okay that is good to hear, said Alieta. Then what happened at the house?" "Well, this dark being came out of the house then a bunch of evil steam streams started going in this thing making him grow really big. Fillina just started making fun of him and calling him stupid with no brain. This made the creepy being mad and fired two energy charges at Fillina but she just made them disappear. Oh, I forgot. First, the thing told Fillina that she was not welcomed and Fillina said do you think you and your evil friends are welcomed on holy land. It said they tried to land close to the magic but it wouldn't let them and threw them just outside of Paxon." "Interesting so the magic in Paxon protected itself," said Alieta. "Sort of Fillina said white magic left a bad taste in their mouth or something like that, said Ivy. Anyways that is when Fillina told me to move back some because things were going to get nasty. She grew twice his size then started blasting him into little pieces then turned him to dust. Then she fired fireballs at the house that was made mostly of wood and burnt it to the ground. After she did something else to the foundation of the house that I couldn't see from where I was standing. Then she told me to go back into Paxon about two miles because it was going to be getting very wild and windy. That is when the coolest part started." "Okay so did she kill all the evil there?" asked Alieta. "Yep, looked like she was having fun doing it too," said Ivy. "Yes, I imagine she would be having fun being a god and all," said Alieta. "Yep she can get very nasty and very dangerous when she gets going," said Ivy. "Okay tell me what happened when you were two miles away," said Alieta. "Well, I only went one mile into Paxon because I wanted to see what she was going to do next, said Ivy. I have real good eye sight so I could see her clearly until she started spinning real fast creating a tornado with loghtning that sucked up all the gravestones and land then shot up into outer space leaving all the land barren with no more evil. Then she made the land nice and flat and green. She flew back to me then she told me to come here because you were worried about me but I had to get some ice cream first to be able to tell you the story. Pretty cool story, don't you think." "Yes extremely cool, said Alieta. So where is she now?" "Reporting to God. She likes to make him happy," said Ivy. "So will you remember everything you just told me when Alexa comes back with Tempressa? asked Alieta. Alexa was very interested in finding out more." "I won't have to I recorded everything I just said on my cell phone tucked in my top. I will just play that for them." Alieta smiled. "You never stop amazing me girl. I am so glad you are back safe and sound." Yep and I am glad your not worried about me anymore, said Ivy. I don't like making you worried you know." "Yes I know Ivy," said Alieta. Miyo had finished sorting all the records after her shift which took longer than she thought would take. She came outside and locked up and saw Alexa and Tempressa on their horses headed her way. They stopped to say hello. "I thought your shift was over an hour ago," said Alexa. "Ya, it was but I had to sort all of the records in alphabetical order which took forever," said Miyo. "Oh okay that makes sense," said Alexa. "Yep missed supper so I am heading to the dining room, said Miyo. Where are you two going?" "To the palace also, said Tempressa. We want to hear how Ivy made out with Fillina." "Why, what were they doing?" asked Miyo. "They went to kill evil spirits in a graveyard and a haunted house near Paxon, said Alexa. We are hoping they are back now." "Really a true ghost story?" asked Miyo. "Yep sounds like it. Ivy and Jazmen saw the graveyard and barely escaped and they said screaming was coming from the house, said Alexa. We both love ghost stories but this one is a real close to home one." "This is awesome, said Miyo. If Ivy would tell me what happened it could be my first news broadcast." "Yes if Alieta will let you tell it, said Alexa. When I left she was sitting on the couch worried sick about Ivy. If the tale is too scary she may not want you to scare everyone in Fae Land." "Ya we will see but I still want to hear, said Miyo. My horse is around back so wait for me. I don't want to miss one word." When the three of them reached the palace Ivy was talking to Ginger about her adventure and Alieta was sitting on the couch. "Good Ivy is back but I don't see Fillina," said Alexa. "Doesn't matter, Ivy is good at telling stories and she never lies," said Tempressa. "Okay lets put our horses in the stable then come back and talk to Alieta first," said Miyo. You don't have to bring the horses there, just point at the stable and they will go by themselves," said Alexa. "Really, they will do that?" asked Miyo. "Yep, they know where the food is, said Alexa. Just watch." They all got off their horse then Alexa pointed to the stable then the horses started walking towards the stable. "That is so much easier," said Miyo. "Yep horses are smart," said Tempressa. "Hi Miyo, your late getting back," said Alieta. "Ya I had to do some stuff after I turned on the lap top songs," said Miyo. "So I see Ivy is back can she come over and tell us what happened?" asked Alexa. "Even better than that, said Alieta. She recorded the story she told me on her cell phone so she wouldn't have to keep repeating it." "Looks like she is telling Ginger about it," said Tempressa. "Ya well she is excited and she is giving everyone the short version but the story she told me is the best." "Wow she recorded it. Can I record it on my cell phone off of her's then make a news brodcast tomorrow?" asked Miyo. "Well lets see, Nobody got hurt and Fillina got rid of all the evil then sent the entire haunted land into outer space so I guess so as long as you don't try to spice it up to make it scarier," said Alieta. "I won't, promiss," said Miyo. "Okay there are some funny parts in the story too so make sure you included them too," said Alieta. "Ivy, bring your cell phone, these three want to hear the story you told me." "Okay, said Ivy. I'll be right back Ginger." Ivy dropped the phone off on the couch then Alieta and Ivy walked over to Ginger. Miyo found the recording and started it and used her phone to record it. They all gathered around the phone on the couch and listened to the full story. After Miyo recorded the entire story Ivy had on her phone she went to go to the dining room to have some supper. She met Tiffany talking to Koko. "Hi Tiffany, I have a great news story to tell over the radio tomorrow, said Miyo. Alieta said it was okay so long as I didn't try to make it spookier." "Spooky, what is it about?" asked Tiffany. "It's about how Ivy and Fillina went to a land of pure evil and got rid of it and a haunted house just outside of Paxon," said Miyo. "Really, is that what Ivy was talking to Ginger about? asked Tiffany. I thought I heard the word evil beings and haunted house but that's all." "Well here listen to this, I recorded the story off of Ivy's phone." Miyo played the recording for Tiffany. "Wow, that is so cool," said Tiffany. A real ghost story." "What is a ghost?" asked Koko. "It is a lost soul wandering around with usually no purpose," said Tiffany. "Why is it lost?" asked Koko. "Not sure, probably because it didn't rise up to heaven to be judged by an angel," said Tiffany. "Well these were not ghosts really, said, Miyo. They were evil beings or something from the past. Just the evil part stayed and not the soul." "I don't get it," said Koko. "Well, it is hard to believe but if Ivy said it all happened then it did," said Miyo. "Ya, you don't have to worry about it Koko. All is fixed now," said Tiffany. "Good, I don't like anything evil," said Koko. "So are you just going to play the recording over the air?" asked Tiffany. "No I am going to memorize it, then tell the story myself probably at one thirty tomorrow after everyone has had lunch, said Miyo." "Okay I will announce a few times that you have breaking news but not say anything else, said Tiffany. That should get everyone wanting to hear the news story." "Perfect, said Miyo. Okay, I have to go in and eat now. I missed supper because I was sorting all the records at the radio station. It took a long time." "That is great, said Tiffany. I was thinking of going in early to do that but then I wouldn't of been able to have breakfast with my sister." You have breakfast with Trigger and me too," said Koko. "You two are always done eating when we come down," said Tiffany. "Yep, first come first served, said Koko. Then we can go back to our room and wake up Aiko. Today she woke up laughing." Really why?" asked Miyo. We tickled her feet, she is tall and her feet always hang over the end of the bed," said Koko. "You two are so nutty sometimes," said Tiffany. "Yep, nutty and like to have fun," said Koko. In Granada, Maggy was having a slow day at the Barefoot Bar. Just Kevin, the leader of the Marauders band was there having a beer. "So Kevin, how did the tour go in Canada?" asked Maggy. "Great tour, sold out every place," said Kevin. "The two girls were great but I could tell Ginger really didn't like performing in front of so many people but she still did great. They made a solo album that is out now so you will be hearing their music soon." "Really, let me turn on the radio and see what is playing," said Maggy. "Okay, same old songs as usual. I am getting sick of this station playing a mix of soft rock and country all the time. There must be another station that plays different songs." I don't think so, said Kevin. You have to be close to the big cities to get good rock stations. You might get something if you put the antenna all the way up." "Ya, good idea," said Maggy. "Okay Granada's station is 108.2 FM. Let me scroll down and see what I find," said Maggy. There is one but too much static. Must be New York's station." "It is the one with the strongest signal," said Kevin. "Well let me go down further, and check, said Maggy. I will listen to just about anything that is different. Maggy began to turn the knob faster figuring she wasn't going to find anything better. She past the low 100s and there was a quick loud sound as the dial passed it by. "Go back, Maggy. That sounded like a stronger signal," said Kevin. "Okay, let's see, said Maggy. She dialed back and hit 101. "Wow that is coming in very strong, said Maggy and that is Rush playing. Granada radio never plays Rush, they are too hard rock for them." "Your right, leave it there, and let's see what else they play, said Kevin. Must be a new Granada station." The next song that came on was by April Wine then a song by Alice Cooper. "This is an amazing station, said Kevin. I haven't heard a DJ or commercial yet so these songs must be all prerecorded." The Alice Cooper song went over then a recorded girl's voice came on. You are listening to nonstop music from 101.5 FM, Fae Land Radio playing the best music from around the world. Tune in between 9 am to 4 pm to make requests and talk to our two DJs Tiffany and Miyo. Now back to the nonstop music. "No way, said Maggy. How are we getting music from a place in a different reality?" asked Maggy. I didn't even know they were capable of having a radio station. "Beats me but you heard her say Fae Land Radio, said Kevin. Now a Genesis song is playing. This is the best station I have ever heard." "Me too, said Maggy. I bet Ivy had something to do with this." "Who is that?" asked Kevin. "An amazing forest sprite that is very smart and very strong. She even took down a burglar that was trying to rob the bar." "A sprite, you mean the one that was on stage at that charity concert at the beach?" asked Kevin. "Yep that is her, said Maggy. "Wow she looked gorgeous on TV," said Kevin. "Well, you should see her in real life. The most stunning girl I have ever seen and has a way of making you feel so good about yourself when she talks to you. Really likes to drink wine and beer too." "Sounds like the girl of my dreams," said Kevin. "Girl of everyone's dreams, said Maggy. I am calling all my friends and telling them about this station." Sparkle was helping to clean up the dishes after dinner when her cell phone rang. "Hello, Sparkle speaking. "Maggy, what are you calling me about, is something wrong? asked Sparkle. Really you can hear Fae Land Radio. Are you sure it is Fae Land radio? Yes, Miyo and Tiffany are the two DJs. That is amazing. I just dropped off a big box of records to the station for them to play during the day. Well yes, Ivy was a big part of getting it going. I am going there now to tell her. Well, I am in Fae Land right now. Yep, that was Ivy too, she has really changed things around here. Okay, I will. Bye." "Who was that Sparkle?" asked Paisley. That was Maggy who owns a bar in Granada, said Sparkle. She is calling everyone she knows so that they can get our radio station in Granada and listen to it. Best radio station she ever heard." "Really how is that possible?" asked Paisley. "I don't know but I am going to Ivy's place to find out," said Sparkle. "Okay say hi to her for me," said Paisley. Sparkle rode over to Ivy's place and saw her heading towards her house. "Ivy, wait, I have to talk to you," yelled Sparkle. Sparkle got off her horse and ran up to Ivy. "Hi Sparkle, what's up?" asked Ivy. "I just got a phone call from Maggy at the Barefoot Bar in Granada. Do you remember her?" asked Sparkle. "Yes of course, a real nice woman that sells good tasting beer and wine," said Ivy. "Well she just told me that they can hear Fae Land Radio in Granada," said Sparkle. "Really, it must be the white magic in Eden we are using as a power supply, said Ivy. Strongest of all power sources. Okay, that makes sense but she was surprised that she could call me from Granada to Fae Land and so was I." "Well yes, of course, said Ivy. That is why I had Tulip make the satellite dish on top of the station, said Ivy. I read all about cell phones and radio station towers and what is needed to make them work in Fae Land when I was in Granada. We can all get the internet on our phones too." You had a satellite made by a fairy? That is amazing, said Sparkle. What is the name of the company that makes the satellite in space?" Telecom Communications," said Ivy. That is the biggest communication company in the world. Do you know what that means," said Sparkle. "Yep I can get free internet access now," said Ivy. "Really, free? No, what I mean is whatever satellite you are bouncing off also sends that signal to another one of their satellites until it has hit all of them that circle the entire world," said Sparkle. "Okay that sounds cool, I didn't know that," said Ivy. Well, that also means Fae Land Radio can be heard all over the world and no matter where you are you can use your phone to call people," said Sparkle. Wow, we better not tell Tiffany and Miyo then, said Ivy. If they know that everyone in the world can hear them, they will probably get nervous. I wonder if it also has something to do with that satalite dish I download from the website when I was at Olympia's place in Granada. I figured we needed a big one being in a different reality and all so I downloaded all the images and design construction of it. Later Alma told me that dish hasn't even been made yet and is supposed to be used for space exploration. She figured if someone was on Mars they could call home. Sparkle smiled then just shook her head. "You really don't sound that excited," said Sparkle. "I am but I had a very big day and just want to lay down and get some sleep," said Ivy. "Oh, okay, do you know the WIFI password for the internet before you go?" asked Sparkle. "Yep, 01faeland, said Ivy. See you tomorrow Sparkle," then Ivy went in the house. "Unbelievable, she even was able to get free internet access worldwide. Wait that dish on the radio station is for space research and it is powered by white magic. Remarkable, wait until I tell Mika about this." Earlier in Haven all the rest of the playground parts arrived early than was expected so most of the adults spent almost all day assembling everything. There was a lot to do with the latest items made for a children's playground. Most of the items were made of very hard plastic and snapped together fairly easily with bolts holding them together. There were slides and tunnels for the kids to climb through a sheltered eating area even a big sand box plus climbing apparatus and benches. Eventually, the entire playground was set up in the park beside Haven and everyone went home except for Cathy and Grace. "So what do you think Grace? Will your daughter like what we all just built?" asked Cathy. "Like she will love it, said Grace. I will have a hard time getting her to come home." "Well now all the kids will be here in the park playing and we will know where they are until it is time to go home and eat," said Cathy. "You know, Liza told me pixies are coming here every night now, said Grace. They are tiny and very colourful." "Well I haven't seen a pixie yet but Ivy told me they spread magic pixie dust everywhere every night and are very playful," said Cathy. Maybe they will be the first to try out the playground. That would be fun to stay up and watch," said Grace. "Come to my place for a nightcap. We deserve it. That sounds like fun to me." said Cathy. Yes I am with you there," said Cathy then they both headed out of the park. In the morning after everyone had their breakfast and Tiffany headed out to the radio station plus Ginger went with Fillina to pick up the big order of radios, Alieta had a bit of time for herself. A sprite flew down and told Alieta that a woman on a horse was headed this way through the Bad Lands but was moving very slowly. "Does she look to be in distress?" asked Alieta. "No, she is just riding very slowly and looking around," said the sprite. "Okay just keep an eye on her, said Alieta. I will talk to her and see what she wants when she gets here." "Okay, said the sprite then flew back up. 'So a visitor is coming," thought Alieta. Just then Ginger came back with Fillina and a lot of big boxes. "So you are sure you don't want me to send these all to your storage room?" asked Fillina. "Nope, I have to load a bunch of them on the wagon then I will get some elves to take the rest to the storage room," said Ginger. "Okay, bye for now," said Fillina then vanished. "That is a lot of boxes," said Alieta. "Yep, that is what five hundred radios look like in boxes, said Ginger. Half of them Janna and I will be taking to the stores first in the West Town then we are going to the North Town. If there are any left then we will take them to Cumberland but I doubt there will be enough left to go there today." "So you two will be gone most of the day then," said Alieta. "Yep probably, why did you need me for something?" asked Ginger. "No not really, said Alieta. Just that there is a woman on a horse headed this way through the Bad Lands. She is moving slowly but I can talk to her when she gets here." "Okay that sounds good, said Ginger. Here comes Janna now. I'm going to help her rig the horse to the wagon. See you later," said Ginger then headed to the stable. After a few minutes, Ginger and Janna rode up and loaded a bunch of boxes into the wagon then rode off. Alieta turned around wondering when this woman was going to show up. In about five minutes, she saw her ride in by the stable and get off her horse. An elf came out to take her horse into the stable. The lady gave the elf a gold coin and then started walking towards the palace. Again she seemed to be in no hurry, looking around as she got closer to Alieta. In a couple minutes, she finally reached Alieta. "Hello there, I am looking for Alieta, the Queen of Fae Land. Would you happen to know where she is? My you're a sprite correct and a very pretty one I must say." Alieta smiled. "Yes I am a sprite and I am Alieta. How can I help you?" asked Alieta. "How fortunate I am to of found you. Just the second person I saw not including the one flying in the sky above me. How can you help me, good question. Not sure just yet, said the lady, you decide. My name is Mirela, many call me the Gypsy Queen. At least that is what everyone likes to call me but I am not really a queen. If that makes them happy calling me the Gypsy Queen then who am I to tell them different. Seeing that makes them happy then Queen I will be." Alieta saw that this woman was a very unusual person. "Okay Mirela, I saw you gave my elf a coin. You don't have to do that here. They get paid good money to take care of the horses," said Alieta. "That is very good to hear, said Mirela. She was so nice to me and said she was going to feed and water my horse and then brush her down. Very delightful girl. To me, that was worth a tip and when she smiled at me, and such a pretty smile it was, it made me feel happy inside under all these clothes. To me that alone was worth giving her the coin, don't you think?" "Well yes I suppose so, said Alieta. So why are you dressed so warmly on such a nice warm day?" "Well, I was told Fae Land was in the north, said Mirela. So I figured it would be cold here. I had nowhere to put my coat while riding so I just kept it on. How was I to know that Fae Land wasn't all that far in the north. I am not Mother Nature you know. Such a wonderful girl she is. We have talked a few times over the past couple of years." "Really you know Mother Nature? asked Alieta. She is a very good friend of mine and her sister lives here in Fae Land." "Yes I know and she is very proud of Tempressa too, said Mirela. Can I put my coat on this nice couch of yours? It is not that dirty." "Better still let me have an elf take it from you and give it a good cleaning," said Alieta. "Really she would do that for me? asked Mirela. How nice." "Yep and you don't have to tip her either, said Alieta. It is her job." Alieta called over an elf and told her to take Mirela's coat to the laundry and have it cleaned. The elf helped Mirela off with her coat. Alieta saw that Mirela had the body of a young woman and not the older lady that she first thought she was with her coat on. "Here can you take my shoes too, they are killing me, said Mirela. I hate wearing shoes. I need to keep the skirt on though. Not wearing any underwear. I hate wearing underwear too." The elf smiled and then took the coat and shoes into the palace. "See another pretty smile, said Mirela. You are so lucky to be around so many happy people." "Yes I do consider myself lucky, said Alieta. If you don't mind can I ask you how old you are?" "Don't mind at all. Twenty-eight, said Mirela. That is okay right. Mother Nature said most of the people here were very old but looked young. I can dye my hair grey if you need me to look older. I think that would help." "No, you are fine just how you are, said Alieta. It's just that you looked older with your body hidden under that coat and you move around so slowly." "Okay good, didn't want to change the colour of my hair anyways, said Mirela. I like to look at everything around me when going to different places. All the trees and plants, the sky and ground. Everything is so beautiful if you really look at them. I love to walk barefoot on the beach and even in the woods where I can meet small animals like squirrels and rabbits. Nature is full of wonders." "Yes it is so I suppose you only eat vegetables," said Alieta. "Are you kidding I love a good steak or burger, said Mirela. Chicken soup and pork chops. People are originally meat eaters. If you stop eating meat then the skin will go pale and the body will get weak. People have to eat what their body needs. You look like you take good care of your body too." "Yes I do, said Alieta, three meals a day. Are you hungry now?" "Yes sure am. Haven't eaten since I left the golden forest with the yellow people living there," said Mirela. Well go with this elf and she will take you to the dining room. All the food made in the palace is free." "Free is very good, I like free," said Mirela. "I will join you in a few minutes. I have to talk to someone first," said Alieta. Alieta called over another elf and told her to take Mirela to the dining room. When they were inside, Alieta called out for Mother Nature. "Can you come and see me if you have some free time. I need to ask you some questions". In a few moments, Mother Nature appeared. "Hi Alieta, you haven't called me for a while. What can I do for you?" asked Mother Nature. "I just met the most unusual yet a very kind person that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting that just rode in here on a horse from who knows where, that looked like an older woman at first by the way she dressed and walked so slow but I found out she is just twenty-eight," said Alieta. "Well she sounds nice then. What was so unusual about her?" asked Mother Nature. "Not completely sure, it is just the way she talks and looks at life I think, said Alieta. She sees the beauty in everything, some kind of a naturalist but loves to eat meat and told me why meat is needed in the body." "Maybe she is a naturalist doctor then," said Mother Nature. "No, she is a gypsy and people call her the Gypsy Queen even though she is not a queen at all. She knows you and her real name is Mirela. Is she for real or is it all an act?" asked Alieta. "Mirela is here, where is she? I love that girl," said Mother Nature. "She is in the dining room having something to eat, said Alieta. What is her story?" "No story really, said Mother Nature. She is a real gypsy from the south somewhere. A gypsy really doesn't have a permanent home. She just loves nature with a passion. Kindest and most gentlest person I have ever met in a long time. She loves to make people happy too. She told me when a person smiles it also makes the heart happy too. You are right, she is unusual but in a very good way." "So how did you meet her?" asked Alieta. "I was coming back from a place down south that a hurricane hit. I was seeing what damage was done. I saw her sitting on a rock looking up with her mouth wide open in the pouring rain. The poor thing was soaked but seemed to love it. I stopped the rain just around her and asked her if something was wrong. She looked at me and smiled and said, No, just drinking God's gift. Water is the giver of life. I sat with her for quite a while and found her to be very smart and told me some stories of her travels. I told her about Fae Land and how wonderful everyone was here and some stories about my sister. I met her a couple more times over the next couple of years always a bit further north. You have to keep her here as long as you can. She is perfect for the people here. She is like Ivy in the way she makes you feel so good about yourself when she talks to you. There is a magic about her that can't be explained." "So she is a real gypsy, you said. Does she tell people's future like I read about?" asked Alieta. Mother Nature smiled. "I asked her the same question and she said nobody can see the future not even God. I just ask lots of questions about the person and then come up with a few possibilities of what might happen. It is up to the person to choose the correct path to follow. Usually, my logic reaches them and a good choice is made. That girl has a gift, that I am certain of and to end up here, talk about God's will. So can I go in and see her now. I haven't seen Mirela the Gypsy Queen in a while." "You call her a Gypsy Queen too? asked Alieta. "Yep, she should be, said Mother Nature. She is the real thing and doesn't use tricks or props like a crystal ball that other gypsys use." "Sure, let us go in together. I told her I would be in shortly," said Alieta. "Good, I am kind of hungry too," said Mother Nature. Then they both went into the palace. The End...
