Penny pulled up in front of the general store. "Now remember what I told you, keep smiling," said Penny. "Now turn off the radio for now and when I tell you turn it back on." "Okay got it," said Tiffany. They walked into the store and went to the front counter where the store owner was standing. "Hello Penny and Tiffany. Here to order some supplies for the palace?" asked the lady. "Usually Ginger does that." "Well today we are here to sell you something," said Penny. "Really, what could you possibly have that I would be interested in buying?" asked the lady. "I buy everything I need here and at the clothing store." "Well this is for you to sell in your store and I highly recommend you add it to your inventory," said Penny. "Really, so what is it that you are recommending?" asked the lady. "Well Ivy research a new science when she was in Granada and found a way to bring music to every home in Fae Land. Together with Lulu, Tulip and Merlin they built a radio station and transmitting tower in Eden. "Really, this is Ivy's idea?" asked the lady. "Keep talking I am listening." "Well the radio station has recorded songs inside that when played, they get transmited though the air to this black box that Tiffany is holding," said Penny. "How is that possible, Eden is quite a ways from here," said the lady. "Well the power to do this comes from the magic in Eden and will reach all the way to Cumberland or even further," said Penny. "I dought that," said the lady I would have to see that to beleive it." "How about hearing?" asked Penny. "Tiffany, turn on the radio please." Tiffany hit the power button and a very nice soft rock song was playing. "My goodness, that is amazing, said the lady. All that wonderful music coming from such a small box," said the lady. "Something like that must be expensive." "Nope, Ginger and Alieta bought boxes of them plus lots of batteries that power the radio and got a great deal. So we can sell them to you for just fifteen dollars each and Ginger recommends you sell them to your customers for twenty dollars," said Penny. "Really, that sounds very reasonalble," said the lady." How many did you bring with you?" "Well we only brought one box with us today but if you take just eight for now and best you take twice as many packages of batteries because eventually they will loose their power and need to be replaced with new ones." "Oh so return sales too," said the lady. That Ivy is one special girl. Okay, it's a deal!" "Good, we will also give you the same payment plan that you give the palace," said Penny. The lady smiled. "Can I buy that one from you for myself? I want to leave it on the counter playing music so people will see how amazing it is." "Well if you keep it going all day then the batteries will run out in a couple of days," said Penny. "It does have a cord at the back where it can be plugged into a wall socket but you need electricity for that." "I have it!, said the lady. "Ivy had Merlin make a couple of those magic circles at both ends of town and some men have been working setting up each store. Not all the stores are done yet but they finished my store yesterday. I wasn't really sure what good it would be for but now I know! So how long does the music play for?" "We have these twenty songs looping continuously but starting tomorrow morning Tiffany will be doing the morning shift playing songs and talking some then Miyo will take over and do the evening shift," said Penny. "When they are not here new songs will be playing all night looping like these songs." "So twenty four hours. Good I can tell my customers that," said the lady. Tiffany handed the lady the radio she was holding then they both went out to fill her order.

When Ginger and Alma got to the store they found Sapphire there sitting on one of the boxes waiting for them. "Okay there are a lot of boxes," said Ginger. "Yep one box has all my clothes in it and another one has all my personal nick nacks and stuff in it," said Alma. "The rest are all for the store. Each box is labled." Alma check all the boxes to make sure they were all there. "Okay this one and this one goes to my appartment," said Alma. "Okay Sapphire can you take these upstairs please and while you are up there make a bed and dresser plus fill the icebox," said Ginger. "Okay," said Sapphire then took the two boxes up to the appartment. "Now this box that says store preset is all the stuff I want to put on display first," said Alma. "The rest can go into a storage room if there is one." "Yes there is, just a small one where the bathroom is," said Ginger. When Sapphire gets back down here I will head back to the palace unless you want to come also." "No I have to start setting everything up," said Alma. "Well you just tell Sapphire what you need in the way of tables and shelves and she will make them for you." "She will be back down any second now." "Already, she can do all that stuff that fast?" asked Alma. "Yep Sapphire is one powerful fairy," said Ginger. "She likes to goof around but when she gets serious nothing is too hard for her." In a moment Sapphire reappeared. "All done plus there was a second bedroom so I set that one up too," said Sapphire. "Good I am going to head back to the palace," said Ginger. Alma needs some shelves and tables in here, she will tell you everything that is needed." "Okay and when I am done, what next?" asked Sapphire. "Then you can do what ever you want," said Ginger. "Okay see you later and good luck with the store." Then Ginger left. "So what is next?" asked Sapphire. "Well I need these boxes put in the storage room first," said Alma. "Okay that is easy said Sapphire then moved them with a wave of her hand. There now what?" asked Sapphire. "I need shelves on that wall and two tables over there plus one where people pay for stuff," said Alma. "I want it to look like the store I worked at in Granada but not as big." "Okay so do you remember where every thing was there?" asked Sapphire. "Yep every last thing, said Alma." "Okay, let me do this the fast and easy way, said Sapphire. Put out your hand please." Sapphire took hold of Alma's hand and read her then let go. "Okay got it. I don't know what all that stuff is but I know where it all goes," said Sapphire. She opened the big box on the floor, put out her arms and waved them around then suddenly the store was transformed into a shop ready for buisness. "Holy, you did it exactly how I imagined it," said Alma. "Yep when I said I was going to fix everything for you I meant it, said Sapphire. So anything else?" "No that is it, said Alma. Okay then, call me anytime if you need something else," said Sapphire then vanished. Wow, now all I have to do is set up the program on the cashout lap top. She went to the counter and noticed that there were some electrical outlets on the wall. Perfect now I can charge everthing up then I am ready for business!

Penny and Tiffany went to another store and had no problem selling another eight radios. "Now we may have to go to the north town to sell these last eight," said Penny. "Okay, I have never been there before," said Tiffany. "That is where all the big stores are," said Penny. "They started on their way but they noticed the corner store looked open now. There was a hand writen sign in the window that said, "Gadgets And Cell Phones". "A radio is a gadget right?" asked Tiffany. "Yep it sure is," said Penny. "There is someone behind the counter in there so lets go in. Grab a radio, this might be an easy sale." Tiffany took a radio out of the box the put the four batteries in it. "Then they went in the store. "Wow customers already," thought Alma. "Hello, welcome to my gadget store," said Alma. "Here I sell cell phones, lap top computers, earphones and cases for the cell phones." "Penny was about to start her sales pitch when Alma saw the radio. "A radio and cd player! Does Fae Land have a radio station?" asked Alma. "Yes we do," said Penny. Tiffany and Miyo will be running it in the day," said Penny. "This is amazing," said Alma. "I though I was going to have go without my music when I came here." "Where did you come from?" asked Tiffany. "Granada, It took a bit to get here but all is good now," said Alma. "Do you have more of those? "Yep we have eight in total counting this one," said Tiffany plus a bunch of batteries for those that don't have electricity yet." "I'll take them but I don't have any money right now," said Alma. "Well you have thirty days to pay for them," said Penny. "When you run out you can order more from the palace. Ginger will be in charge of them." "Perfect, said Alma. Now if you are going to be playing music," you will definately need a phone," said Alma. "Really, how come?" asked Tiffany.

"Well how are listeners going to call in and make requests if you don't have a phone?" asked Alma. "You can look up the weather and see what it is gong to be like outside each day. A cell phone can also tell you breaking news but that will be mostly for Granada right now." "It can do all that?" asked Tiffany. "Yep and so much more, said Alma. You two can call each other or just text if you need to talk about something. Ginger has one also and so does Alieta and Ivy. A cell phone is a must when running a business." "This really isn't a business, said Tiffany. I just play music and talk sometimes." "That is where you are wrong," said Alma. "Having a radio station is big business. Store owners will call you asking if you can advertise sale items for them. You can charge money for that and play it several times a day. That is how the station makes noney." "Wow I didn't realize that," said Penny. "We better get three. Miyo will need one too. So can you show us how they work?" "Sure can, it is quite easy," said Alma. "Pick out what one you want over there on that table, are lots of different colours then bring them to the counter and I will progam them with phone numbers first. Each phone comes with a charger too. The phones are already fully charged but depending on how much you use them you will need to recharge them. To do that you just plug the big end into a wall socket then plug this small end into the bottom of the phone." Once Alma had the phones programed she showed them the basic functions. Then Alma turned on the radio. "Okay lets get you the box of rados on the cart," said Penny. "By the way how much do these cost? Twenty dollars a month each with the first payment starting in thirty days," said Alma. "That is a good deal," said Penny. "Yep I aim to please," said Alma.

When Penny and Tiffany got back to the palace grounds they dropped off the horse and cart at the stable then walked to the palace where Ginger was standing. 'Ginger look what we got," said Tiffany all excited. "Alma sold us cell phones." "Really, she must be a very good sales woman," said Ginger. "Well everything she told us made sense," said Penny. "She said running a radio station is big business and a phone is a must for Tiffany and Miyo." "Really, why is it big business?" asked Ginger. "Store owners will pay to advertise stuff they sell and special sales," said Penny. "When people hear it over the radio they will go to the store and buy stuff. We make money and the store makes money." "Okay I get that but we need to get some radios our there first," said Ginger. "Oh we already sold a box of them," said Tiffany. "That's twenty four radios so far. They we really easy to sell once I turned on the radio. "What, you have the radio station running already?" asked Ginger. "Yep, Ivy created a play list of twenty songs that just keep looping," said Penny. "Tomorrow Tiffany and Miyo will start working in there. Tiffany has the morning shift and Miyo has the afternoon shift." "Well sure sounds like you have this all figured out," said Ginger. So you are going to be in charge of the radio station then?" Ya if it is okay with you," said Penny. "Yes please be in charge of it," said Ginger. "I don't know anything about running a radio station. "Well you have to take care of the sales of radios," said Penny. The store owners will pay you and re-order through you. You have always taken care of the money here." "Yes I can do that but who is going to deliver the radios? ask Ginger. "Well I am going to bring a few more boxes to the north town tomorrow," said Penny. I was thinking maybe the twins would like to make a bit of extra money. You know how they like to shop. I will ask them later on but if they don't want to I am sure a couple of elves would from the village." "So I best get your phone numbers so I can call you and you can call me," said Ginger. "Okay, where do I find my phone number?" asked Tiffany. Ginger smiled. "Here let me show you, said Ginger. Hand me your phone." Ginger took Tiffany's phone first and inputed her number on her phone then did the same to Penny's phone but added Alieta's number to hers too. "There now all I have to do is call each of you and you will have my number. She called Penny's phone first. "Okay it is making a sound, now what do I do?" asked Penny. "Just tap that button at the bottom of the screen then say hello," said Ginger.  "Penny tapped the button then said hello. There, it is that simple," said Ginger into her phone then ended the call. "Do me next," said Tiffany. Ginger called Tiffany's phone also. "This is so cool," said Tiffany. "Yes it is, said Ginger. Now you and Miyo will be getting calls from store owners too so your contact list may get pretty big. I will have a couple of elves make up a bunch of flyers with your phone numbers then have them deliver them to all the stores. All the stores, that is a lot of stores, said Penny. Yes it is but I have a feeling that this radio station is going to be good for Fae Land and all the people here," said Ginger.

Well I am going give Miyo her phone then find Repellia and Phonixa to see of they will help me tomorrow," said Penny. "Well I am going to show Sabrina and Aiko my phone," said Tiffany. Then they both went in the palace. "Well more contacts, that is good, and Fae Land now has music. Things are looking up," said Ginger. "Tiffany went to her room and found Sabrina on the floor playing with Koko and Trigger. "Where is Aiko?" asked Tiffany. "She slept in and is down getting something to eat," said Sabrina. "She said she is not used to getting up too early." "Oh okay. Come and see what I got now," said Tiffany as she sat on the floor with them. "Wow, what is that?" asked Sabrina. "This is a cell phone that lets me call other people that have one," said Tiffany. "Can I see too?" asked Koko. "Me too, I want to see also," said Trigger. "Sure but there isn't much to see, it is for talking to people," said Tiffany. "When I turn it on it lights up really pretty though, see." "Wow that is pretty," said Sabrina. "What are those buttons on the bottom for?" "Well this one is for making a phone call but I don't know what the other ones are for yet," said Tiffany. "Try one and see," said Sabrina. "Push that one that says Apps, that is a funny word." "Okay, can't hurt to try it," said Tiffany. When she tapped on it the screen changed to a long lists of apps. "Okay so there must be more to this phone then just taking to people," said Tiffany. Sabrina got closer and watched as Tiffany looked though the list. "That one, the one that says Tic Toc, that sounds like it may be for kids," said Sabrina. "Maybe, lets find out," said Tiffany. "What's it doing?" asked Sabrina. "It says downloading application," said Tiffany. Downloading from where?" asked Sabrina. "Beats me, maybe outer space," said Tiffany. "Really that is so cool," said Sabrina. In a few moments the screen changed again and there was a girl telling jokes. "Hey, she is funny, said Koko. How does she fit in that phone?" "This is a recording, said Tiffany. She is not in the phone." "Oh okay. That makes more sense I think," said Koko. "Okay that is enough for now, you three should be outside playing and not in here," said Tiffany. I want to show Aiko the phone too." "Okay," said Sabrina and the three of them ran out of the room. Well that didn't take much. "Okay those jokes were definately not for kids. Aiko will like them I bet."

When Tiffany got to the dining room Aiko had just finished her breakfast. "Hi Tiffany that was a very good breakfast," said Aiko. "More like brunch, said Tiffany. It is almost eleven o'clock." "Ya I know but the bed was so comfortable and I always used to get up at nine o'clock." "Well I took Sabrina down for breakfast at a little after seven, Koko and Trigger both had finshed their breakfast," said Tiffany. "Sally said they are always the first ones there waiting for the kitchen to open. Anyways look what I bought today at the new gadget shop in town." "What is it?" asked Aiko. "A cell phone that lets me talk to people that have one also." "Not too many people have them yet though," said Tiffany. "It also has apps that play recorded stuff. Sabrina picked Tic Toc but I found the jokes the girl was saying were not suitable for a girl her age." "I am old enough, play it for me," said Aiko. "Okay, said Tiffany then put the phone on the table then tapped the Tic Toc button. "Okay there is that girl again. Listen to her jokes. They listen to the comedian and started laughing. When done it started over again. Now that was some funny stuff," said Aiko. It says Swipe at the bottom, what does that mean?" "I don't know, try it," said Tiffany. Aiko swiped the screen then it changed. "Okay a bunch of girls playing volley ball on the beach wearing bikinis. "That is nice," said Aiko. "Oh my now it turned into a girl fight. Your right this is not good for Sabrina to watch but I like it. How can I get one of these?" "At the gadget store in town," said Tiffany. It is the last store on the main strip. "Is it expensive?" asked Aiko. "Nope, only twenty dollars a month and you don't pay for the first thirty days. "That is a good price," said Aiko. I am going to get one today, Just then Tiffany's phone rang. She picked it up then tapped the answer button. Hello, what's up Penny?" "Oh okay, I will be right down," then she ended the call. "What was that about?" asked Aiko. Ivy is out front of the palace and wants to talk to me and Miyo." "Okay am going now to buy one of those." Then Aiko ran out of the dining room. Wow talk about being in a hurry, thought Tiffany. Better go see what Ivy wants."

When Tiffany got outside she found Ivy talking to Miyo. "There you are, said Ivy. First thing first I need your phone numbers. We are going to need to stay in contact. If there is something that confuses you, I am just a phone call away." They both gave Ivy their numbers. "Now tomorrow I will be working with you Tiffany first, said Ivy. I will show you some things that Penny can't show you like how to talk on air." Just then an elf came up to them. "Hi Ivy, sorry to interupt but do you you know where Ginger is?" "Inside the palace probably, said Ivy. What do you need to see her about?" "Well I was in town just looking around when I notice a new store at the end of the main strip. I looked in the window and the lady inside waved me in." "Okay so that was Alma, the cell phone lady, said Ivy. Did she sell you a phone?" "No but she had this music box on the counter that was playing amazing songs I have never heard before. She told me the price of a radio that was cheap in my eyes but she was out of stock and wouldn't sell me the one on the counter but said if I go to the palace and tell Ginger that Alma needs another eight radios or more then if I deliver them back to her, she would give me fifteen dollars for helping her." "What Alma sold all those radios already! It hasn't even been an hour yet," said Tiffany. "Well that is not all, said the elf. On my way back I stopped in the variety store to buy some candy, said the elf. She had one of those music boxes also, playing on the counter but only had one left for sale. I bought that one and some batteries then she loaded the batteries in for me and showed how to set it to 101.5 FM. I was about to leave when she called me back. She offered me twenty dollars to go to the palace and see Ginger about getting more radios, as many as she was allowed, then delivering them back to her. I agreed seeing now I was going to make thirty five dollars which is a lot of money to me." "She sold all of her radios, too!! exclaimed Tiffany. "Yep but then when I went in the general store to buy some apples, I love apples, said the elf. She had a radio playing on the counter also but was sold out too. I told her that I was going to see Ginger about getting more radios for two other stores. I asked her if she wanted me to get more for her too. She got all happy and offered me thirty dollars for delivery. I went home first to drop off my radio first then realized I forgot to buy apples and candy. I didn't care seeing I just made sixty five dollars. I am rich now!" Ivy smiled. "Tiffany, how many radios were delivered to these three stores today?" asked Ivy. "Well we took a box of twenty four with us," said Tiffany. "So over twenty were sold in one hour. Okay change of plans," said Ivy. "Miyo, you go get your horse and head out to the radio station. You can't miss it, just follow the big green tower. I will take Jenna in to find Ginger. I will meet you at the station when I get things set for for Jenna with Ginger."

Ivy took Jenna into the palace and sensed Ginger was with Alieta in the den. "Okay she is in Aleta's den," said Ivy. It is just one floor up." "So Alieta will be there too?" asked Jenna. I have never met her face to face before. Maybe we should come back when Ginger is alone." "Well those two are rarely appart, said Ivy. Don't worry Alieta is really nice." They went upstairs and into the den where Ginger was talking to Alieta. "Hi Alieta and Ginger, this is Jenna, a wonderful elf I just met," said Ivy, She has some news to pass on to Ginger. She has never met you before Alieta so she is a bit nervous." "I haven't met Ginger either," said Jenna. "Well just talk slowly and tell them why you are here," said Ivy. "Yes dear take your time," said Alieta. "Well three store owners are paying me big money to put in more orders for radios then deliver them. They all want more than they had the first time so I am going to have to borrow the stable's cart," said Jenna. "You mean they have sold all those radios already?" asked Ginger. "Yep, Tiffany said twenty three have been sold I think," said Jenna. "I bought one too." "So how many do they want?" asked Ginger. "Here I wrote it down," said Jenna. She handed Ginger the piece of paper. "Store one, more than before, store two lots and store three lots." Ginger smiled then handed the paper to Alieta to read. "They didn't tell me an exact number so I figured Ginger would figure that out," said Jenna. "Yes Ginger figure it out, said Alieta. You should go with her on these deliveries." "Does that mean I have to share the sixty five dollars with her? I have never had that much money before at once?" asked Jenna. "No Ginger will not be taking any of your money," said Alieta. "So is this a one time thing or would you like to work for Ginger being the delivery girl for her? She has to go this time anyways to deliver the proper paper work. You will make much more money that way." "Really! That would be awesome," said Jenna. "Good that is settled then, said Ivy. I am going to the radio station where Miyo should be by now. We are going live for the first time once I show Miyo how everything works The faster you two get the radios into the stores the more listeners we will have, said Ivy. Are we done here?" "Yes I think so, said Alieta. Then Ivy took off. "Bring one of those radios in here. I have to hear this", said Alieta.

Once Ivy got to the radio station Miko was there waiting. "Are you ready to rock Fae Land?" asked Ivy. "You bet, lets do this," said Miyo. "Now don't let all the equipment in there scare you, said Ivy. I will go through each item and tell you what they do." "Okay so looks pretty hi tech," said Miyo. "Yep very high tech," said Ivy. Ivy opened the door then went to the control panel and showed Miyo where the on off button was. She pushed the button and lit up the main board. "Wow! Now that is energy," said Miyo. "That, Miyo is the energy created by the magic in Eden. It doesn't get more powerful than that," said Ivy. "Now that main power button turns on everything except the microphone and the lap top. The microphone you turn on when you want to talk to the people. The lap top is separate so when you finish your shift you can leave it on playing the loop of songs I downloaded but you can turn off the main board." Ivy continued to show Miyo all the switches and what they did. She told her about the turn tables and speakers on the wall. "Okay, now the only way you are going to see how all this works together is to watch me," said Ivy. "I am going to start things off but you are going to close at the end of your shift." "Okay I am pretty sure I can do it once I watch you," said Miyo. "Good, now let me get a coupe of albums cued up, I am familar with most of them from when I was in Granada, said Ivy. Soon you will be too. Grab that chair over there and have a seat. You won't be needing your cell phone either so put it on the table. That is for personal use. I will be getting one for the station that will stay here. Okay time to rock Fae Land." Ivy turned off the looping songs then turned off both speakers. She turned on the microphone and began. "Hello everyone in the magical Land of Fae, this is Ivylynn coming to you from 101.5 FM playing the best music from around the world. This is a twenty four hour radio station with record music playing in the evening and night but we have two pretty girls that will be playing songs for you all during the day. Tiffany has the morning shift from nine to one and Miyo that is sitting beside me waiting to take over will be doing the afternoon shift from one to five, then the record music can start. Those with cell phones will be able to call in and make requests starting tomorrow. Enough talk for now, here is a song from one of the bands in Garanda's reality. The bands, name is Led Zep and the song is called Staircase To Heaven. Starts off slow but really kicks it in a bit." Ivy put the needle down on the record then turned off the microphone and turned on both speakers. "You are really going to like this song, said Ivy. Every song on the album is great but Led Zep is a hard rock band so best to space their songs out." "What is the other record you have on the other turn table?" asked Miyo. "A funny song called She"s Got Legs by ZZ Top. I figure I will dedicate it to Fillina. She is very tall and has long gorgeous legs, well everything about her is gorgeous," said Ivy.
